Have I gone mad? NO, not really! I like to think so. Allow me to explain. Once upon a time (more like a year ago), while checking out shapes in the Market Place, I came upon one of the most beautiful ones for males. Well, that is my personal opinion. Anyways, I liked it so much, more like I fell in love with it, that I bookmarked it. During the year, there were several occasions when I got to recommend it to a few people. I know with certain that three of the people I recommended it to liked it so much that they actually ended getting it. It is the .:Bohemian:. Casanova - Hollywood Edition L$1,500 (6.69 USD) From Bohemian Style Now, here comes the part you might think is kind of crazy. This is a new ALT that I have created to use for the blog. I DO need a male model and sure some of my friends are more then willing to help me out. However I do not want to be an inconvenience to any of them so I decided to create a new account just for that. I have loved this shape since forever and I don't see why I can't use it, right? I named it Bibo, after my husband's nickname and intend to use it as much as I can for my posts. Why do I love it so much? I really had no idea until earlier today. For over I year I had been fascinated by it and I always wondered why? This afternoon when my son got back home from school and I showed him this picture and told him it was my ALT, he said... A New Beginning
Second Life is a beautiful fantasy world and yet so dangerous, as my good friend Polly Reyna
from Tempura Island describes it. Still, I am so fascinated by it. The things we can see and do
are endless. So many amazing places to explore. So many wonderful people to meet.
I intend to explore every corner of Second Life, every single one, and discover the beauty
in every place, even in the simplest ones. Trust me, beauty exists even in the most remote of places.
Sometimes we just need to dig a bit deeper to find it. But it's there, just like in real life.
Now the people we meet in Second Life, are another thing. Unfortunately, some people
can be deceiving. From experience, I have learned that many times those that act too charming
can be the dangerous ones. I have met people in Second Life with the greatest positive profiles
and yet with time, I come to learn that they don't live by what they preach.
Still, I do believe that there are a majority of honest and kind people in Second Life.
Once again, my Second Life will get back on track, by this I mean, live it the way I originally
had planned to do it in the early days. Explore, meet new and wonderful people, make good
lasting friendships, and let's not forget fashion, enjoy every bit of it. I will remain truthful
and respectful to every person I meet. How can I change? I love people and I have faith

This is my good friend Drake (drakesilverhawk). I consider him my own personal Second Life doctor. He is respectful and caring. I call him my doctor because he shows so much concern for my health. I am serious. He always asks how I am feeling, if I have taken my medication, if I am sick and if I have eaten. If I dare say to him that I haven't eaten, this is what he'll say... Log out immediately, I mean it! Go eat, and don't just try to eat... EAT! Eat some soup, some fruit and a big glass of juice. Then rest for a while. I'll be here when you come back to take you dancing if you want. But now go go go... EAT! Well, he'll say something like that :) Not only does he watch out for my health, but he is one of the most positive people I have met in Second Life. Always in the greatest mood ready to cheer me up. I totally am in love with his mentality, so optimistic and caring. You can't help getting contagious with his great outlook on life. Last night he surprised me when he invited me over to his SL home and discover that his old house was gone and he had already started to build a new one. Drake is a great constructor by the way. I honestly don't understand why he would do that. His old house was amazing, but I have to admit it though, this new one he is working on will be even better then the one before. I am so glad he will be helping me do some major remodeling to my Italian home. |

We danced the night away. I hadn't gone dancing for months until a few days ago. I missed it so much. But last night was the first time back dancing in a ballroom and it felt amazing. Thank you Drake for the wonderful night. For making me laugh so much with your great personality. For truly caring for my well-being. But especially for always and I mean always being so respectful. You are truly a gentleman! Just one question for you... Aren't we supposed to be demolishing some walls already to my house? :P |

At The Beach House

"What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger!" I didn't crawl under a rock to die... almost did though. But heck, I am worth too much to let a coward and insensitive poor excuse for a man bring me down. Gosh, I even surprised myself of how strong I really am. At the moment I am staying at Sweet G's beach house. He offered and so I accepted. I am having my good friend Drake, that by the way is an excellent constructor, do some changes to my Italian home. In the meantime I crashed Sweet G's crib for an undetermined period of time. He gave me the green light to feel free and decorate his island however I want, BIG MISTAKE :P First thing I did of course was check how many prims are available to work with. I have big plans ;) But for the moment I just want to enjoy the tranquility of his place away from everything. |

Sweet G has always taken it upon himself to watch out for me. I've been friends with him longer than anyone else. He knew I was having a difficult time going back to my Italian home so he bought me this beautiful house which I fell in love with when I saw it for the first time. But knowing me, I am still unsure of the outcome. This beautiful home for the moment is being saved in my inventory together with the Egyptian Palace I used to live in before. My Italian home is being transformed into what I hope will be very different from what it is now. And for the meantime I will remain at the island enjoying Sweet G's company. Friends like Sweet G are hard to come by. He is always making sure I don't need anything, always asking me how I am feeling and sincerely caring about my well-being. He is a real friend and absolute gentleman <3 |
A Day With My Daughter

A new day means a new beginning and a new opportunity to make it better than the one before. It's such a blessing to be surrounded by family and friends. What's better gift than the love we receive from the people that matter so much to us in our lives? We have to not lose focus of what is really most important in life. Counting our blessings everyday is a must in order to feel true happiness. Today was a special day. It was a day spent with my daughter. I am talking in real life. Being left alone at our home, we decided to get out of the house and make what was supposed to have been just another Saturday into a day of quality time spent together. Choosing to watch a comedy movie that turned out to be not so great was no excuse to not manage to laugh hysterically. I realize now that it was not so much the movie that was causing our laughter but the feeling that we were together was what was making us so happy. We joked around and had mango smoothies afterwards. We ended our day out by eating at Jack-In-The-Box. Many times we forget that our children are there. We get so consumed with our own things that we do not realize that every minute that passes by is a minute that is getting closer to the time when they will leave the home. They are growing with every second so we must embrace them as much as we can while they are still with us. Moments wasted on unimportant things will never be gained back. Hmmmm.... What is going on? Was choosing to have some privacy for a day reason enough to end such a beautiful friendship? Don't we all at a time or another need some alone time? I don't see why or how that can be taken so offensively by some people. My last four days had been very hard but I managed to stay strong. However, yesterday I REALLY needed to be alone and so I decided to put myself private from everyone and what happens? Someone takes it as a personal insult. In Ameba Pico my status has always been on private and never before did I had any problems with anyone. Not even with my closest friend there. Actually it has been like that already for over a year. In SL I have rarely done it before, usually only when the depression had hit me hard. My group of friends have always known about this and respect and understand it. Yesterday I really thought I could log privately once again into SL, gather material to write a post, which by the way writing is a form a therapy that helps me relax, and then log out without ruining anyone's day with my dramatic state. Next thing, I get an IM that doesn't make any sense to me and right after that the very painful message... " "She has terminated her friendship with you. She thinks you suck because.., "How dare you hide from her?" Actually it didn't say that but that's what it meant in other words. The friendship was over and done before I even had a chance to explain. |

Unfairly overreacting over something so minor and not even giving a chance to explain my situation, only shows that the so called beautiful friendship wasn't strong or special enough as I thought. Yes I have been deleted before, but never by someone I got to love almost like a sister. The previous times were either just acquaintances which a strong bond was never created and simply we lost touch with each other. Others were people that were only interested in a romantic relation with me more than a friendship. Of course, once they realize this was not happening, they lost interest. It is very easy to fall into the wrong conclusions when we don't know the facts. It is also very wrong to unfairly take an action against another person without even giving them a chance to explain or defend themselves. I am still in shock and wonder if there is more behind her doing this. All that is left to do is accept it and move on. Never look back! Why am I writing about all this drama? I really don't know. Maybe I just need to do it to relief a little of the sadness this caused me. Anyways I thank her for her friendship and the many wonderful memories we made together. Still, if ever I feel the need to log into Sl on private status to avoid from ruining my friends day with my personal problems, I will do it again. Being Careful Is Not Enough
Yesterday I was finally able to purchase some Linden dollars after having to wait until I could afford them.
I had been visiting several stores in Second Life and making a list of what I wanted to get. I knew that May 8
would be the day I would be treating myself to a few pretty things since I had been saving my hard-earned money
and cutting on a few things i real life. I was counting the days, and finally, May 8 had arrived!
You can just imagine my excitement.
Last night I start getting a couple of things from my "Things I Want" list but since it was already late at night,
I decided to go to bed and continue today.
But this morning, as I tried to log in to Second Life a window started popping up saying to enter the correct password.
I started panicking since this is now the second time it happens to me. I kept trying and trying but failing in every intent.
I then proceed to change my password since that is what solved the problem the last time.
After doing so, I was finally able to get in.
Thinking the worse I check my inventory, my home, and even my Avatar.
Everything seemed to be OK and I felt relieved. I then opened my "Things I Want" list to continue with my shopping for the remaining items that I was planning on getting. Cheo soon met with me and as we are talking I see in horror that my L$ balance was at ZERO. But how could that be?
Just last night I had a good amount of Lindens. At first, we thought that it was just a SL error so we start doing everything we could think of to see if it would change. I even logged in and out
several times to see if that would work.
The balance remained the same, L$0
I then checked my Transaction History and there I found where all my Lindens had gone.
It seems someone had the liberty of taking them as a gift from me without asking!

I have always taken all the precautions so this would never happen to me.
I never accept anything from strangers. I have even become so paranoid with all the hacking that has
been going around that I have even stopped answering IMs from people I don't know, but
unfortunately, this was still able to happen.
I like to help out people when I can and many times share the little or a lot that I have with those around me.
Yes, I am bothered by people that ask for money, but at this point and what Second Life has become,
I have more respect for a beggar than a thief.
