Vamp or Petite

Let me clear out something for the few that seem to be confused and that is that just because I wear men's clothes once in a while doesn't mean I am  bi or lesbian. I am ONLY attracted to men, REAL men, 100% man. And by this I am not admitting into having tons of men in my life... one man is all I need. I respect the gay and lesbian community, but that is just not for me. I will tell you though that some of my closest friends are actually gay.... and I simply adore them <3

Another thing that needs to be cleared out for the ones that have the intention to offend me is that it doesn't bother me at all if you consider me boring for the only fact that I don't sleep around. Heck, you can call me inmature or childish for all I care. I rather be thought of in these terms than to be your easy prey and become another one of your whore friends. I am enjoying Second Life without the need to be acting wild. I am not into kinky thrills or trying to experiment outrageous behaviors. The closest I have come to unusual thoughts is considering becoming a vampire. Mmmm.... maybe THAT is a bit kinky ;)

Another thing I want to clear out for those that choose to refer to me in very personal terms...  PLEASE do not call me baby or love. I am not your baby or your love, never have and probably never will be. To earn the right to call me these you would have to sweep me off my feet and win my heart. But honestly there is a very slim chance that will happen for now. 

Do I consider myself something special? Of course I do, why wouldn't I? God created me just like he created all of us and that makes us all special. I don't think that I am any less or any greater than anyone else. But I do know that I work hard to be the best I can be and that entitles me for the best of what life has to offer. I won't settle for any mediocre relationships and that includes friendships or love.

Ok, so last night I suddenly had another one of my dramatic episodes where I feel like I am sinking in a hell hole. Feeling the negative energy I left the Tai Chi circle as to not ruin anyone's relaxing time. I flew away and landed on top of the hallway roof and stayed there alone for a while. I was trying so hard to shake the blues off me when suddenly Alumco appeared. After that Pinochio (ILMARE TU) joined us. The three of us had the greatest time dancing to Kuduro. By the time I realized, my blues were gone :)))

By the way, Alumco is the arm wearing the blue cap on my left. He supposed to be a dog but his shape got somehow messed up and he refuses to fix it, LOL :P

Did I mention before that I am thinking about becoming a vampire? I am not 100% sure just yet.  I would want to remain me, human, non vamp most of the time and only ocassionally take my fangs out in search of fresh young blood ;) The thing is I really don't know how the vampire thing works. At the moment I am a 20% interested for the Vampire world so don't wear your garlic necklaces just yet.

One thing for sure that I will be trying soon is the new trend of the petite shapes. I have to thank my new friend Hine Nui for helping me make up my mind that in fact I want to be adorably tiny sometimes <3 Last night when she joined us and I saw how cute she looked and that sealed the deal for me.

So she gave me LM to Petite Avatar Kingdom which I visited today. It was filled with a multitude of Petite residents  that when they saw me started to scream " A HUMAN! :O,  ◕‿◕ I see "stretChed" people~ ◕‿◕, •·´¯°· Ðση'т کтєρ  ση ME!! ·°¯`·• and  don't eat meee!! D:" But once they realized I meant them no harm they were very helpful in explaining to me how this beautiful trend works. A few weeks ago I received an email from Tony who is a musician in a band in Georgia.

Number of The Beast

I want to believe that I am not, but there are just some things in life that make me feel .....hmmmm...... a little uneasy.

For example, yesterday oscarochi asked me how long I had been in Second Life. Not being sure, I opened my profile to check and when I saw the number it almost threw me back from my seat. There it was, staring back at me with an evil grin, heck, it almost seemed to glow! Immediately I decided to protect my poor and fragile Pixel from any demonic attacks and since I was already wearing white, I just put on my golden wings, so to appear like a Heavenly angel.

Oscarochi, noticing my concern, decided to take it on himself and keep guard for my safety. He literally stood in front of me for almost an hour while I was doing Tai Chi... eeek, so creepy... I mean so sweet, thanks a lot oscar for not letting me breath comfortably under your watchful eye :P

After a few awkward minutes of having him stand just a few steps from me, saying nothing and looking at me without even a blink, I decided to check his profile and see what oscarochi is all about.

First thing I noticed is that he was 24 days old.... yeah right! He looked and acted waaay too Second Life experienced. When I asked him about this his response to me was, "Yes believe me, I am new. I just have friends that have been helping me." Mmmm, where have I heard that before? Oh yes, I heard those same words from the mouth of the biggest liar I had the misfortune of bumping into about seven months ago. Ok, I shouldn't be so harsh to poor oscarochi and give him the benefit of the doubt. He may be telling the truth and actually be a good guy since he stood by my side in protective mode on my 666th SL day. 

Anyways, I kept wishing for the day to be over soon just in case SL misfortune could actually fall on me so when finally the number changed to 667, I went YAY!  :P

I was having a great time at Tempura with my friend when suddenly this idiot got the urge to solicitate and indecent service from me. I was completely shocked and furious. If it was possible I would have slapped him until my hand became numb. And he is right, he better be sorry for such an insult. You may have figured out by now that JERK is not his real name, I just changed it to that because it's the one that suits him best.

Now I can look back and laugh at his ignorance and stupidity.
Heck, even my friends laugh with me when we talk about this little incident.
It was a double insult to my integrity...
Not only did he think I was a prostitute.... but a cheap one? Come On!

The White Rose

The White Rose

 A tiny seed falls from the sky, gliding smoothly through the clouds.
Finally, she lands on the peek of the highest mountain.
The landing was rough since the whole land was covered with ice.
She stays there, motionless for a moment.
The sun, seeing this, sends bright and warm rays over the her.
Suddenly, the seed blooms into a beautiful white rose and looking at the land she smiles.
The sun keeps her warm during the day by hugging her with his rays.
 At the end of the day, it is time for the sun to rest.
He promises her that he will return everyday to keep her warm and says goodbye.

Night falls, bringing a snow storm.
It has no mercy on the beautiful rose.
All night she shivers and she can barely breathe due to the harsh temperatures.
Finally, the daylight returns.
The sun searches for the rose and finds her buried under the snow.
He sends again rays of light and warmth her.
The snow that covers the rose starts to melt.
But the rose is already dying.
She looks up at the sun and thanks him for his kindness.
The sun starts to cry, feeling hopeless.
 The rose looks up to him with a smile and says... "Why do you cry? I had a good life.
I was given a home to live in that looked as white as the Heaven above.
I got to feel the breeze play with my petals and I was given a wonderful friend.
I felt your love for me in the warmth of your rays.
You lit my world my dear friend. "

 Then she closed her eyes... and she was gone.

 In my story you will find miracles, blessings, gratitude, friendship and love.
My little white rose never complained but was always thankful for what she was given.
How I wish I was more like my white rose... maybe I can be :)

Who is our mum?

Lori and I are now 2nd life sister and brother; I am not sure what mum thinks about that. Uummm…wait a second…who is our mum? The coolest thing about having Lori as a sister is that…whenever my fridge goes empty, I can pop over to Lori’s house and make a sandwich. Lori lets friends come over to try on new clothes—that could make for an interesting lunch excursion.

So…the first question is…what’s different. Well…we IM each other frequently; hey, wait a minute, we were doing that before we became siblings. We both feel comfortable sharing stuff about our lives knowing what we say is going to stay inside the family (duh…no one outside the family cares what the maid and gardener are doing……oops, did I say that out loud?). There is one downside—I can no longer walk into social gathering, with the beautiful Lori on my arm, and brag to all my guy friends about my beautiful date.

What was our first adventure as siblings? We decided to celebrate by doing something bold and exciting…we went to a 2nd life medieval court hearing. I was thinking…all right, I finally can try out some of my lawyer jokes. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be—I couldn’t find a single ambulance chaser dressed in a polyester suit. We found a king and a queen playing the role of judge, jury, and executioner…to be honest, we didn’t stick around long enough to see if the queen does or does not say “off with his head.”

Speaking of Alice in Wonderland…we both know a Cheshire cat—he likes to walk around invisible. Why I am telling you this. You might want to think twice about using Lori’s house as a changing room. I would love to show you a photo of him…but I can’t seem to find one (…hehehehe…get it?).

A Night of Light

I'll have to say that last night was one of the greatest nights ever for me in Second Life.

The Tai Chi circle that I love so much in Tempura was filled with laughter and great friends.

Only Java Junibalya was missing in the picture. We all set our settings at midnight and enjoyed

a sky filled with lights and fireworks. Of course, you need to get special permission for all these.

Tempura Rule #5

Prohibited the use of huge particles.

Guto Sicling, with his fun personality, made me laugh so much.  He kept dancing around

and at one point he put on a big hat. He then very kindly sent me the dances and a hat like his

to join him. Thank you Guto!

We also had the pleasure of having F U (markode) who called himself "the master" among us.

He was very friendly and also made me laugh. We had a good conversation going on about souls,

wings, and the heart. Once he said goodbye to all of us, he left me with these words...

"You are a very kind person Lori"

Annabeth was there too. I absolutely love her. She was actually the one that went out of her way

to ask permission from the Tempura staff to use her beautiful rays of light.

Thanks to her we were all able to enjoy an amazing night of a sky filled with colorful lights.

I loved Xanthus's (xanthusequine) Avatar. I am always intrigued when I see a person wearing 

a shape other than a human shape. Just like alumco, my SL little brother, he refuses to be a human

in SL and swore to always be a "dog". However last night he surprised me when he appeared in the

circle invisible. Rather, I should say when he disappeared before us. The only thing we could see 

from him was a pair of sunglasses floating in the air.

Xanthus (xanthusequine) also left me with very kind words before departing from the group...

I was actually receiving IMs throughout the night from people that were in the circle with me 

and others that I had no idea where they were in Tempura. I only got to save a few of them.

My friend Steppen Crescendo has been taking videos of me for some time now. I think he will

record anything he catches me doing. He too IMed me from an unknown location in Tempura...

And then he was gone.

That is how I greeted Graittus when I saw him come to the circle. He is absolutely the most beautiful

dragon I have ever seen. He remained with us, sitting on the side while watching and chatting 

with us. Unfortunately, we both got in trouble with the Tempura staff due to having over 800 scripts

that were causing too much lag around us.

Gratitus lag problem was very obvious due to his appearance, but mine was because of all 

the jewelry I was wearing. I passed the lag test once I had taken all my jewelry off and was only left 

with my earrings. My good friend Polly Reina (Tempura ISLAND sim officer), was very sweet in

helping me during my little problem. <3

Aedo Destiny, my Italian angel friend was also one that lit the circle with that light of his that

I love so much.

I was so happy to see that Aedo joined me once again in Tai Chi.

Two nights in a row!

The Italian Angel

Last night Tempura skies were beautifully lit by my Italian angel's glow 

as he crossed the skies and made his way to the top of the mountain 

where the butterflies dance to the sound of love.

There he softly said these beautiful words to me that touched my heart so deeply...

Friendship

AEDO DESTINY

Please meet Aedo. He is my angel friend from Venice. 

He is absolutely beautiful. 

I met Aedo during one of my daily visits to the Tai Chi circle in Tempura Island. 

I was chatting with my friends and suddenly the whole circle was beautifully lit by his light. 

When I turned to see what it was, I was amazed by the beauty of his Avatar. 

I was hypnotized for a while and couldn't look away, 

but I bet he is used to having people staring in a daze at his beauty.  

I greeted him with a warm hello like I do with every person that arrives at the circle. 

His response was very friendly but he remained quiet afterward and away from the crowd. 

Days passed and Aedo started visiting the circle more often 

and each time we got to talk more and more until we became friends.

Every time I see Aedo, he inspires me to wear my golden wings and become an angel like him. 

I have always complimented him on his beautiful light 

that he ended up taking me to get one of my own a few days ago. 

 Last night he sent me a gift... 

something RED that would go good with the red gown I was wearing, he said ;)

A red rose.

So we left the circle and together we flew across the sky 

to the Golden Ballroom to dance.

As we danced I suddenly realized that they were playing this song...

We talked of so many things and time seemed to come to a stop.

Finally, after many dances, it was time to return to the Tai Chi circle 

where my friends were waiting for me.  

Aedo accompanied me back and gave me a great surprise, 

he joined us to Tai Chi for the very first time since I met him.

Leroy by Lana Lumiere

It's been awhile since I've explored a different sim other than Japan, Tempura Island that a change of view was a must. Not that I have gotten tired of what I consider my Second Life home, but there are so many amazing places to explore that I should be extending my horizons.

I had been keeping the Landmark to Leroy for a few days now in my inventory and today was finally the day to visit it. As soon as I got there, I felt like listening to a beautiful song my friend (wolfman) asked me to listen to a while back. He said to me... "Lori, listen to this beautiful song and fall in love with it."
And I did <3

DESCRIPTION:
"Brightness for only one"

This is the type of place I absolutely love to visit when I am in search of solitude.  As soon as you arrive to this location you will have the option to choose to change your windlight visual environment settings to a bright white atmosphere. I personally liked the view better using the midnight or sunset settings. This allowed me better to appreciate even the smallest things that otherwise will go unnoticed.

The arriving point is on the deck of a big ship.

Here you will find a couple's dancing balls. A Teleporter to Erd Beeren has also been placed at the deck which I intend to explore sometime soon.

You will find a cabin on the ship with a couple's pose inside as well. An old movie projector sits on the floor at one of the corners repeatedly playing the same image over and over again. I couldn't distinguish very well what the image shows but it seems to be of a man. A very odd object to find in my opinion and yet an interesting touch.

Dancing is not limited only on the ship's deck. In the middle of the snowy mountains sits a pond inhabited by a family of swans. There, in the middle of the water, another couple's dance balls can be found.  A Sakura cherry tree stands on one side of the pond and on the other, what seems to be a floating leaf awaits to be clicked to provide yet dancing balls for any part of this place to be used.

A beautiful mermaid makes her appearance as she dances gracefully in the icy waters while a deer watches attentively from the other side of the river's bank. Other than the mermaid, the swan family and the deer, the other living thing that roams this area is an eagle that seems to be the only bird that owns this sky, letting his singing blend with the beautiful music of this place and the sound of the waves.

By keeping your settings on midnight you will have a better appreciation of the many phantom pine trees that stand tall on the mountain's edge. If you take a closer look you will notice a rain of stars that fall from each one of them like glitter. Midnight will also allow you to enjoy a beautiful view of the black sky covered in a multitude of shiny stars. The moon on the background is always present and can be enjoyed by resting at one of the several couple's sitting poses that have been placed all around the river's edge. 

Now that I have visited this beautiful snow covered place, I have moved its landmark from "my places to check out" to "my favorite places in Second Life" folder.
