Oh yes!

I DO NOT have a new lover, boyfriend, or partner named Edwardo.

I don't even know any Edwardo, Eduardo, Edward, Eddie, or Ed here in SL or RL :P

Oh my God, you have no idea what Ocean started with his last post. I've been constantly getting IMs

and a few emails from friends and followers asking me the same question...

Lori, who is Edwardo?

Edwardo is just a name that popped up in Ocean's strange dream that night. 

He doesn't even know any Edwardo either and he doesn't even recall hearing the name anywhere :O

So the final line is, Edwardo is a mystery.

Just wanted to clear that up to hopefully stop any doubts and all the rumors 

that have been circulating around SL :P

What A Trip !!

Hello everyone :)  For those of you that know me are probably wondering why I haven't posted in a 

while. I have been very sick and unable to spend much time on SL. So I am writing this from my hospital

bed and would like to share a very strange experience with you. But first I need you to imagine a scenario

to get an understanding of this experience I had with Lori last night.

Imagine this...

*You get in your car and put the key in the ignition.  To then leave your garage and start driving down 

the road.  You continue driving, taking turns here and there until you have left your city limits.. 

Then continue driving on a highway to your destination.  And after driving for about 2 hours 

you arrive at your destination.  You park your car and take the key out of the ignition.  

Then all of a sudden you look up and realize you have never left your garage. 

As if you were sent back in time and everything that happened in the last couple of hours 

was totally erased !!*

This is an example of what happened to me last night with Lori.   

We were having a conversation that lasted for hours.  Then I look up and realize that only a few minutes

have passed and everything that was said is gone. I had obviously fallen asleep and started dreaming 

as though I was awake and typing to Lori on SL from my laptop.

It was soooo real though.  And it kinda scared me. Haha it's a good thing it was a just dream though

because Lori was "telling" me that I had to leave so her new boyfriend "Edwardo" could move in. 

I'm thankful that was just a dream and all I gotta say is What A Trip!!

         

            (But im still keeping my eyes open for you Mr Edwardo)  :D

The Christmas Tree

This is my Second Life's Christmas tree for this year, but let me share with you a childhood memory

from my real life.

🎄🌲🎄

As I child, I grew up in a humble home where there was always a big lack of money.

I was raised for a big part of my life by my maternal grandma back in Mexico. 

When Christmas came every year, it was the happiest time for me. 

We never had the money for a real Christmas tree or decorations, still, my childhood Christmases

are some of my most beautiful memories.

Behind my grandma's small home, lay the forest, and every single year my Christmas tree 

consisted of any nice-looking branch my mother could find back in the woods 

and then planted in a white paint, plastic bucket, wrapped in colorful Christmas gift paper, 

My Christmas trees were mostly decorated with simple GIFT BOWS in every color possible.

I still remember some SILVER and GOLD gift bows that would shimmer on the tree 

making them appear like twinkling lights.

To this day, I haven't seen another Christmas tree as beautiful as my childhood Christmas trees. 

And I don't think I'll ever will!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Second Life
None of Lori's friends were happy, with so much drama going around.
She was so unhappy, because Ocean had gone out for a walk
forgetting to take out the garbage
And turning the porch lights off.

She laid in her bed
crying her heart out all night long,
and screaming to Ocean, "OMG Ocean, I am kicking your butt!!!"
Neighbors and friends, no matter how far
They could hear her screaming at the top of her lungs.

All night she kept nagging, and throwing a fit
and all that poor Ocean could do, was listen in fear.
Her screams were like the thunder, disturbing the peace
And crying an ocean, flooding the Sim.

However the next morning,
Lori woke up in a cheer

Do you recognize this delicious candy apple?
For those of you that have been following my blog since last Christmas I am pretty sure you remember it very well.  My pretty butt cheeks sat on it just like they did again last night.  But to find it you have to again make your way down the North Pole's Mountain and through the icy cave where my old friends, the polar bears and penguins, are having the time of their lives dancing around.

Ok, so I must continue my exploring but now my hiney is all sticky with all that caramel and I am not sure if that is safe with all those polar bears around. Last I heard is that they are attracted by the smell of candy. :O

Oh how I love The Nutcracker, but then again, who doesn't? It is our family tradition to go see this beautiful play every  year during the holidays. We have very talented friends that participate every year which makes it even more special.

Do you know the true meaning of the candy cane?

It represents the birth, ministry and death of Jesus Christ.
The pure white candy symbolizes the Virgin Mary.
The hardness of the candy represents the foundation of the church and of God's promises to the world.
The "J" shape is to represent the precious name of Jesus, who is the reason for the season. But it also represents the "Good Shepherd", inverted "J", that never ceases to reach down to every lost soul on earth.

Why can't I just have a stronger will power?
I shall not eat Santa's cookies again this year.

But Santa, I've been a good girl reallyyy ;)
I don't want to remain in the naughty list again this year.
