Hippity-Hop here comes Lori...

This is how I am spending my Easter day. Dressed in this cuddly-cute HUNNY BUNNY SUIT (L$150) another creation by Alexxis and hopping around sitting in my EASTER EGG (FREE) at Alirium. My bunny outfit is perfect since I am running a little fever in real life and feeling cold. Thank you Alexxis for the bunny suit, looove it but how did you know I was gonna need it? :O

Actually I feel like I just hatched from the egg and feel like a newly born hatched chick ;)
What does this mean?
Well, that today I want to start fresh. A renewal of everything in my life, both RL and SL.  I'll start by disposing of everything that is negative. This include any negative feelings I may have which only poison the beauty that can be achieved if we follow these simple rules, compassion, understanding and acceptance of others.
It is never too late to start fresh even if we have to "restart fresh" everyday. By the time we know it, we'll get it right ;)
We should also NEVER forget that there is always room for improvement in every aspect of our lives. The learning never ends and should continue til our last day of life.

Easter Boudoir

is holding a great Easter hunt for you with six great prizes to be found. All you have to do is find six hidden eggs that have been so cleverly hidden all over the sim. But you are on your own, no clues were given. My hunting skills are not as sharp as before due to lack of practice. However I was able to find 5 out of the 6 prizes. All I am missing is the "My Easter Stuff" bag. I'll probably end up buying it since a vendor with all six hunt items have been placed by the entrance for all those lazy hunters.

There are two rules that have been set for all participants,
#1 Do not ask the designers for any hints.
#2 PLEASE, do not reveal hunt locations on group chat. We wouldn't want to ruin the fun for those that like to keep the hunt real ;)

What is the worse loneliness but the one we carry in our hearts. How many times have you been in a room filled with people and yet the room feels empty and cold. People laugh and talk all around you but all you hear is the quiet emptiness echoing in your ears. People call out for you, and you find yourself being forced to smile to avoid the tears.

Filling the emptiness/loneliness in our hearts is hard to do. Especially when we think that it is up to other people to fulfill it. It is not their job... only we can and the only way is to keep our hearts open, open to everything that is positive.

Welcome any and every little "happenings" in your day. Keep your eyes open for all the beauty all around you. There is beauty even in the way a leaf falls from the tree or in the way the flying bird makes its landing. Smile and greet the people you meet everyday. Listen to their stories and what they have to say.

My Naked Truth Meme

As I promised, here is "my seven SL facts" meme.
Running a little behind but late is better than never don't you agree? ;)

So here we go, here are seven facts about my Second Life that I want to share with you.

My SL Fact #1
When it comes to dancing, I am very selective in who I dance with. I find most of SL dances too intimate for me so I rarely accept any invitations. However, when I do accept, I ask my dance partner to get us a "decent" dance. If he, for some reason, doesn't respect my request, I am out of there.

My SL Fact #2
When I am at Tempura Island doing Tai Chi, I like saying hello to every single person that gets there. If for some reason I miss someone I feel absolutely bad. I am usually there working on my blog but I keep constantly checking back to see if any one has arrived while I was busy.

My SL Fact #3
You'll always see my pixel dress accordingly to how I am feeling in real life. I am talking weather-wise. If I am feeling cold, my pixel will be wearing warm clothes even in the summer days and vise-versa. Now the rain is something I also add into my SL. If you see it raining in my SL home, it is likely that it is raining in my real life.

My SL Fact #4
I hate, HATE, hate being broke in SL. I must... NEED to have lindens in my account at all times or else I am not a very happy camper. Don't get me wrong, not all my linden go to buying myself things, they also go into helping friends and other people.

My SL Fact #5
Having a home in SL is a must for me. In my 938 days in SL I have had 5 different homes and all in the same land. I feel that is where my roots are so I refuse to change Sims. One thing I must say, since I hate being homeless, I also hate seeing any of my close friends homeless so there has been many occasions where I have opened the doors to my home and shared them with my friends.

My SL Fact #6
My inventory has gotten so out of control that it's driving me crazy. I am up to 36k+ items that I just don't know what to do anymore.  I can say that probably 70% are things that I have NEVER worn, not even once. This include clothes, shoes, hair, skins, jewelry... etc. Another 20% are items that I have probably worn once maybe twice and that I honestly believe I'll never wear again. Only 10% are the items that I probably use more often.

My SL Fact #7
Before BiboNovo ever appeared in the picture, I had made a new account for a male model that I wanted to use for the blog. With the help of SweetG, AdamDash was born into SL on a May day last year. We bought the shape and skin from Belleza and some clothes from Utopia. However after only 5 days of having opened the account, I deleted it. I wasn't 100% completely satisfied.

So now let me explain this "Capturing Tempura #1" post. As you all already know I feel like I am part of

Tempura. You know, like one of the many specks of dust that are floating in the air on this beautiful island.

I dedicate most of my Second Life time to this beautiful place that I like to call home. I already have

created a section in the blog called  The Beautiful People where I like to introduce some of the people

that visit the Tai Chi circle. Now, I had the idea of adding a new Tempura section to the blog, which will

feature captured moments I can get from the visitors from the circle and any other part of the island.

What gave me the idea for this new section was the next photo you will see of this man leaning on the

edge of Tempura ballroom's rooftop. It is absolutely beautiful and I had been saving it for a while in my

Tempura folder not knowing what or how to use it in the blog. Then I thought, why not just simply use

it as a special beautiful moment captured by my lens. ;)
