It's not a secret that I've always flirted with the dark, and nothing better than a Halloween time.
Even though there is no Halloween in Brazil, I've always sympathized with the theme.
And when I think about Halloween the first person that comes to my mind is the marvelous director Tim Burton,
for who I am completely in love. Tim Burton's characters are usually dark and scary,
but they also show another side of themselves: they are very, very sweet.
If you pay attention at his frightful guys as in Edward Scissorhands, in Sweeney Todd:
The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, in his Batman movies,
in Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (you can see a small trailer here ^_^)
and so many others, you will perceive that they are also so sweet and full of love.
And that's why I love him and his characters. The darkness can be very sugary and captivating.
The vampire stories are there to show it, what makes me remember of Lady V.
All the guys and girls that were bitten by this attractive Second Life vampire
ensured me that her bite made them melt in pain and pleasure. So I see beauty in the darkness.
I dance with it and fall in love and passion. I wish you all have a wonderful
Halloween full of candies and chocolate, and with much, much love!

Ok, so I am exaggerating here a little little bit :P
It was more like...
"How are you today Lori?"
And so I said
"WONDERFUL.... It IS Saturday you know?!
And I L❤VE my Saturdays I tell.

I just got back from dropping off my son at the second Horror Con 2013,  and on my way back
the station started playing Back In Black (AC/DC) and so what do I do?
DANCE!
What else could I do?
My body has a mind of its own and though my brain kept screaming...
"Lori stop it! You are driving."
I couldn't :(((

What is life without any of these three things, you tell me?
It is like a boiled egg without salt.
Like a cat without whiskers.

I wore shoes for this post!
I rarely wear any.
In most of my posts I am barefoot even when I am wearing beautiful gowns.
I love caressing Second Life with my bare feet and that is the main reason my shoe inventory is very, very small.

However
It was good to wear this particular pair of shoes again.
I had only worn them once for my Bird Wings post back in July 2011.
That post was very important to me because it is based on real life.

We never know what lies behind every person we meet here.
Everyone has a story to tell and many times the story can be very sad.
It is easier to judge others based on what we see than to take the time to know more about
them.

So please
let's not judge others unless we have walked in their shoes.

as many people were feeling a lack of that theme items on gacha machines.
