As of today, my kids are officially out of school for their summer vacation.

My daughter is finished high school and attending college in the fall.

These are my favorite months of the year when I get to spend more time with them,

doing everything and nothing.

As long as we are together is what matters to me.

I enjoy so much the blessing of their company.

Valki is a chocolate monster. And as it happens every year, after all the chocolate she ate on Easter, 

she put on some weight. Now she needs to go on a diet :(

Diets are hard, they always put me in a bad mood. When I eat lettuce I feel such a bitter taste that I start 

to cry. Yes, food makes me smile and cry, I have an intense relationship with flavors and smells, tastes, colors. So when I have to deprive myself of eating, I start to dream about food, especially sweets and

chocolate. In my dreams, I can eat as much as I wish and I never get fat ^_^

So, if I dream about it when I go to sleep, why not do it on SL?

 And there is not a better place for this than Rico's Tea House. The Sim is gorgeous all around with much

nature and flowers, and the best, there is a coffee table able to please the most demanding food reverie. Chocolate cake, strawberry pie, colored macarons, breads, and many other different kinds of eating and drinking and all in such beautiful decor. It's a dream place!

Eat until you drop because you won't spin on the floor like a big ball!

Dear Second Life,

As a Texan Latina and living less than 20 minutes away from the Mexican border 

(South Texas, The Rio Grande Valley), you can be sure I got an accent, 

and I am talking here about a strong one. It is so strong that my kids say I even pronounce 

the word "accent" with an accent, how cool is that! :P  

They think it is funny but I choose to believe that is cute and very sexy, 

almost like Penelope Cruz. Yeah right, keep dreaming! 

Can you just imaging the combination of Latina and Texan put together? 

CrAZy!  

And the funny thing is, I am the only one at home with an accent 

so many times I have to repeat to my kids what I am saying so they can understand me, Mother Please!

Anyways, I am very proud of my accent because I do believe everyone has one, 

even my kids that think they don't,  they just don't know they do ;) 

Still, I find it wonderful how there can be different accents within one same country, 

state, and even within one city. Heck, I even believe there are different accents in the same block.
