One of the highlights of Halloween has to be the haunted houses that start popping up everywhere. Who doesn't like to have fun and get a good scare while doing it? The last time I visited a haunted house in real life was two years ago and it was with my son and daughter. We hadn't even set foot inside and I could feel my heart beat racing with the anticipation. I don't get scared easily but having someone or something jump at me unexpectedly has to startle even the bravest person. Once we set foot inside, creepy beings started popping from everywhere almost every five seconds. It was one scare after the other with not a moment to rest. Halfway through, I grabbed on tight to my son's arm and continued the rest of the way with my eyes closed. What a wuss, I know :((( |

When Ocean asked me today what I wanted us to do for fun and I told him anything that had to do with Halloween, I was so glad when he TPed me to Special Impressions - Haunted House (MATURE) Owned by the Rock Lobster Group This haunted house turned out to be pretty, I mean UGLY, scary. There were frightening surprises at every turn and behind every door. |

The scariest part for me was in the attic where Reagan from the 1973 horror film The Exorcist starring Linda Blair was waiting for us. The bed shakes and Reagan keeps spinning her head around. Now I have to admit, this is the only horror film that I am not able to watch alone, in the dark or with my eyes not covered :P But who can blame me, that voice, the same of a heavy smoker, can't be forgotten. |

Now, I did love the haunted house but my favorite part was the cemetery behind it. |

This is the lovers' grave. This just comes to show us that even after death, the love continues. Oh how romantic! |
