OUR MOMENTS TOGETHER
Tonight, we spent a beautiful and peaceful time at Tempura Island
remembering our loved ones who now are resting in peace,
celebrating Christmas in heaven among the angels.
This will be our Ben's first Christmas in heaven.
Ben was my Steppenwolf's brother who left us this November 2nd.
And so my Steppenwolf shared with me one of his dreams while we were there...
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): i dreamt i was back in my childhood home
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): on the second floor where we brothers had our two bedrooms
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): and for some reason I was looking to repair the place
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): it was a wreck
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): the windows had been boarded up but the plywood had come loose
so leaves had blown in
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): then our childhood bathroom was wrecked too and the flooring
was all mismatched linoleum
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): so i was f*ck this the place is hopeless
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): but then i figured i could just carpet it all and make it nice
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): but suddenly i was thinking the rooms were so small
and the house tiny and empty

we live there with emotions

The little boy asks while sitting on the hard floor that is covered with the blood of the injured and martyrs.

He continues to ask while his little fragile wounded body trembles uncontrollably.

The Dr. answers as he kneels down beside the little boy to check his wounds.
There's no one else sitting by him, no mother to hold him, no father or brothers and sisters.
He may be the only survivor in his family.
Just a little precious, beautiful, and innocent child, robbed of his family, his home, and his
childhood now sits alone while the world around him continues to be destroyed.

What you just read is true. This is from a video clip I saw a few days ago.
Sadly, there are hundreds and hundreds of these videos where we witness the horror of what Palestine
is going through.
My heart goes to them, my prayers, and the hope that one day, soon, I'll wake up to find
that peace has returned to our Palestinian people.
AMEN!
Please know that I will ALWAYS stand for the innocent civilians from any part of the world who suffer
or are being killed. I don't take sides when it comes to governments, religion, or whatever else
especially when I am not well-educated on the subject. However, one does not have to be well-educated,
have a religion, or even support or not support our government. One only needs to remain human and
look into our hearts and know that ending precious innocent lives is inhumane!
The only side I stand for is for the innocence of humanity, the value of life, the peace of the land,
and the fulfillment of the future.

So much has happened since the last time I was here with you as you can see. I lost my kitty Tito,
also, and as always, I have been dealing with bad health since September. I have spent many days
confined to my bed unable to do much, but log into Second Life while I sleep and rest so not to feel
alone. Also, my Steppenwolf's brother passed away on November 2nd after his fight with Cancer.
My poor husband a little over a year ago had lost another one of his brothers also to Cancer.
On this occasion, my Steppenwolf took it upon himself to put his whole life on hold to take care of his
brother when they found the Cancer. He was there to take him to doctor appointments and treatments,
to cook for him, and to help him around the house. But the labor of love for his brother continues even
after his death. My Steppenwolf, still with his life on hold, now is in the process of making sure that
his brother's last wishes are all respected. He is truly a hero, an angel, one that truly cares.
So today I said enough is enough! Lazy bones, get to work!
I left the bed and decided that I had to blog, at least for today. Remember, one day at a time.
I tried to reinforce the belief that mind over matter works.
My pain is great, but my mind is even greater and I am telling myself, "My pain is not that bad."
I really do not know if that worked, but I was able to enjoy taking pictures and working on my
blog today. I guess it does work after all. ;)
I came upon this beautiful sim while I searched for a peaceful location, not too crowded with people
and things. I needed a wide open land where I could easily breathe...

This is a beautiful sim where I truly found everything I needed and what I was looking for.
The peace and solitude, the beautiful sunset, and the open field of pastures and flowers as far as the
eye can see. But above all, the highlight for me on this beautiful land was the chapel on a hill where
we can get a free candle (For Group Members Only / Free Group Join) to leave at the chapel with our
blessings and massages. I left two, one for Ben, Steppenwolf's brother who now is in heaven,
and another candle for peace in Palestine.

Hello Beautiful World!
Do you recognize where I am in these pictures?
This is one of my favorite Second Life spots, loved by so many of us. It is a magical place,
almost like a dream. Most of my favorite pictures have been taken there through the years.
What makes this beautiful sim so magical is that every time I visit it, simply by using a different
wind light setting, the experience is totally different in a beautiful way, just like in Tempura.
I can go from a peaceful calmness to a mystical feeling, from romance to mystery.
It is always so exciting for me to play around with wind light settings until I get the one that
transports me mentally to where I want my experience to be.
Once I find the one I like, it is followed by finding the right song or music to go with it.
Sometimes it works the other way around, I have the song already selected and then I look for the
wind light setting that would match perfectly with the song.

I have been visiting this beautiful sim since the year 2015 and I can honestly say that every time
I do, I leave feeling such peace and joy and that is the reason I keep going back.

Today, I very much needed that, to find some peace and joy since I woke up
missing my Steppenwolf due to him having to go away again to tend to family matters.
These are very difficult times for him and his family, and therefore for me too because everything
that affects him, affects me just as well. We are one and we share all happiness and sadness,
all good times and bad, in health and in sickness.
Needing to find some distraction from my sadness, I first made a stop at a very special place
that I hold very close to my heart before heading to the beautiful Outer Garden.
There, I picked up some of the items that I am wearing in the pictures. Once in the garden,
some of the sadness was lifted from my heart and I was able to enjoy my time there.

The first stop I made was at Palomma Plaza (Moderate), formally known as The Free Dove.
There once I meet a beautiful dove, her name was Palomma Casanova and we became friends.
We shared so much about our real lives with each other, some of our struggles were almost the
same and so I felt a very strong connection with this beautiful lady.
Palomma had a beautiful heart full of love for everyone and a big dream which was
to help others. So she started The Free Dove with the purpose to provide gifts to both, men and women.
I remember how excited she was when she shared with me the news that one of the big hair
brand designers would be joining her cause, I could truly feel her happiness.
Sadly, our beautiful dove passed away last year on January 14, 2023.
I still like visiting from time to time the loving place she created to help others and where she
would happily welcome everyone with open arms. There, I can still feel her presence, lovingly
and happily welcoming me like she used to do. But I am sure, she is smiling at me from heaven,
just like she is smiling every time someone sets foot inside those doors of her so beloved
Free Dove, now Palomma Plaza. Thankfully her best friend, Shelby Monitor is making sure the
doors remain open for all of us as long as there are generous designers that are willing to continue to
help to Palomma's beautiful cause.
While at Palomma Plaza, I picked up three beautiful items to wear for this post.

Another Senseless Act of Violence
Heartbroken to hear the news of today's mass shooting at Uvalde's elementary school, Texas.
18 children (grades 2nd to 4th) and 3 adults dead. Still, more victims are in critical condition
in hospitals. My heart and my prayers go to all the victims and their families.
