Hello Beautiful World!

Wishing you a beautiful Saturday.

Today's post is dedicated to one of the many wonderful people I have ever met in Second Life and had 

the great honor of calling a friend. But he wasn't just a friend or even a good friend, Etrad Alex was a best friend.

One of the few people who left some of the most beautiful footprints in my heart.

I met Etrad on a Friday, on a November day back in 2012, while I was at Tai Chi, in Tempura Island.

Here, you can read about the day we met.

Etrad entered my heart almost immediately with his beautiful ways, and we became best of friends. 

He was actually the one friend that I felt the closest to at that time.

Etrad used to log in during his lunch hour from (RL) work, and I would join him every day and

keep him company while he ate his meal. We would talk about family and other RL topics. I always looked

forward to that lunch hour with my friend. Etrad became protective of me and would stand up

to anyone who would hurt me with words or actions. He was a very good listener and adviser,

and he was always there for me. Sadly, our beautiful friendship ended, and really, I can't remember

the reason why it did. But the wonderful memories I have of him continue to live in my heart, 

bringing always smiles when I remember our times together. Etrad's place in my life can't be replaced,

and I only wish that he, too, remembers me fondly as I remember him.

So today's post is for him, to honor that great man.

May God bless him and keep him and his loved ones safe.

May he be surrounded by much love and happiness.

I heard it from Madison, one of the brides, last night while watching the show Love At First Sight, Chicago Edition

(Episode 4). I do love this type of reality shows, even though we all know they are somehow scripted.

But hey, they still keep me entertained, and that is all that matters, right?

Time to go now, it is a beautiful Saturday to enjoy by going to the beach or spending it with family and friends.

Hello Beautiful World!

If you ask me if I have any regrets in my love for my Steppenwolf,

I have to say yes, I do.

I regret not having found him sooner, so I could have been loving him longer.

I regret the times I have gotten upset at him for stupid little things, when instead I could

have spent those minutes happily enjoying his love.

There are many things I regret, because I am not perfect, only human, and I have made

mistakes. But those mistakes have helped me realize how wonderful and big this love is.

My Steppenwolf is the greatest man I've ever met, and we have the rest of our lives to keep

loving each other, but honestly, that will never be enough. I need at least another lifetime to

show this man how much I love him, to make him as happy as he deserves, and to be his

every night, endlessly, and totally his... forever.

It was awkward to tell you the truth, but I listened to the song quietly with my eyes looking down.

I wasn't sure what to do, smile? No, that would have been wrong. Might have sent the wrong message.

I was careful not to even make a sound. As the song continued, I kept thinking about what I could

possibly say to him once the song was over. I didn't want to come off as rude or worse,

easy. Perhaps a polite thank you or a "good song." But everything I came up with in my head, I

felt would be inappropriate to say. As the song continued playing, it just made me feel more

and more uncomfortable. I had no idea he felt that way about me. I had always treated him as one

of my good friends and only that, a good friend. Finally, the song ended, and we both were about to

say something to each other, not really sure what, but we didn't. He turned around and walked away,

and I stayed there, standing, not knowing what to think. Damn!

Hello Beautiful World!

And a happy Thursday to everyone. ;)

HaHaHa, hear me laugh, not because I've finally gone insane, but because now, I seriously

find it funny how heartbroken I would feel every time a boy would break my heart.

It seriously felt like the end of the world, and I thought that the pain would last forever.

Now I can look back and wonder what was I thinking with some of the love choices I 

made in the past. That was mistake numero uno, being attracted to the wrong men.

Now, I am not saying that every single ex of mine was a loser, not at all. I was lucky to find a few

decent guys who swept me off my feet. But for one reason or another, things just didn't work out

with them. Thank God for that, or else I wouldn't have found my Steppenwolf.

But anyway, when we go through a heartbreak, it really hurts like hell, but we won't die from that,

though it feels like we are, or we wish we would. But no no no, we are too precious to let heartbreaks kill us.

Cry, scream, and kick if we need to. And then just wait, and wait, and wait, and... and wait.

One day, we wake up feeling super and ready for round two, just not with the same person...

I hope. :P  By round two, I mean giving ourselves another chance, or as many chances as we need to take

to find our other half in the world. We all have one for sure. ;)

because life is beautiful, and love, my friends, is the greatest!

Welcome to another GREAT PROFILES blog post, which is well overdue. By this, I don't just mean how long

it has been since I last wrote in this category, but also that I had saved all the information and pictures

for this particular one since last month. Now, the long wait is well worth it since this particular profile is

really a very good one. We all love a good profile for sure, especially if it is completely packed with

funny, inspiring, and/or informative stuff. I remember many years ago when I read a profile that made me

laugh so much, even to this day. The profile belonged to a lady who was in the company of her partner.

In her Second Life section, she talked about her connection with God. It truly described a very devoted

religious woman. Of course, I said "awwww" after reading all the holy words she had written in that

section. Then, I moved to her Picks, and I was in shock. Her first Pick was a warning to all women to

keep their eyes off her man...

"You F*uck off bit*hes!, this is MY man. STAY AWAY, and don't even look at him or I'll be fu*cking

pulling your eyes out. so F*CK OFF!"

Yes, this is more or less what she said, just not as bad as it was in her profile. Then on her next Pick, she

shared how, with God's light, she had rescued a little bird and was so thankful for that blessing.

Then again, on her third Pick she was back to the %&#$*@#% for all women, warning us to stay away

from her men. I guess she felt the need to keep reminding us, just in case we would forget that the man

belonged to her. LOL! :P And for the rest of her profile Picks she kept bouncing back and forth from the

holy hallelujahs to the F*uck off bit*hes! It was just so funny, I tell you. :P

But moving on...

In her picks, Lana shares many great locations to visit, among other things. In one of those picks

she describes how one week in Second Life is for most of us, and I leave you with that.

Tender love expressed coupled with promises of "forever". 

            Day 6: New house furnished, pregnancy joyfully announced (nuff said 'bout that!)

Day 7: Jealousy, huge fight, messy breakup, Picks turn real nasty, and then,  - - - - - - -

Day 8: It all goes back to  Day 1. (see above).
