| VIEW FULL PHOTO HERE Dear Second Life, What's Going On?! Today for some reason I suddenly started remembering that one time I went to the SL hair store that had just closed for business but were giving away the hair for free. I remember having the hardest time teleporting there since it was always full. I had tried for three days making it in, before I was able to succeed. But once I did, it was far from being all great. The place was so packed with people and the lag was terrible. It was like walking through syrup and that is if you were one of the very few that were able to move at all. Things took an eternity to rezz and not to mention people crashing by the minute, including me. I Said Hey, What's Going On?! It was a very frustrating situation for everyone there, including the store owners that kept getting complaints from everyone. Now, all the hair in the store was free which was wonderful, but it was impossible to get it. You could click and click and nothing would happen of how chaotic everything was. And I Scream At The Top Of My Lungs, WHAT'S GOING ON?!!! People kept arriving to then leave immediately, upset with the situation but in my stubbornness, I sincerely thought I could really get all the hair if I stood my ground against the constant crashes and lag. No luck there, after 2 hours I was able to get only 4 out of the 100's free hairs available at the store. I left feeling defeated but determined to return later that night to try my luck again. But of course, the moment I had left voluntarily the place, I had last the battle, "FULL' was the shield that blocked once again the entrance for me. The next day, hair store owner sent a noticed out announcing that the free hair giveaway had been cancelled due to all the problems it had caused. and I Try, Oh My God Do I Try So today for some reason I thought if they had only used the Market Place since they already had the store there it would had saved everyone so much trouble and frustrations. I've seen some MP stores where everything they have is FREE! These were SL business people that decided to go out of business but left their things for sometime in the MP so people can still get it. I really don't know how the MP works but I think that would had been a good idea. Just a thought. Forever Yours, ~ Lori Novo ~ ❤
