I Can Fly!

MY SECOND LIFE ADVENTURES

He sat quietly among the autumn trees, deep in reading, fully concentrated on his book
and turning the pages in the quietness of the beautiful autumn afternoon.
The minutes pass with every turn of a page. His eyes locked on the literature that had
his full attention...

Lori's stomach growls.

He turns to the left from where his silence was so rudely interrupted and there she was...
a total stranger sitting right next to him!
Who's this woman?
How long has she been here?
He wondered.

Lori Novo: hi :)
Ben (benedict13): hi
Lori Novo: just taking a pic :)
Lori Novo: hope you don't mind
Lori Novo: not being creepy
Lori Novo: Take care Mr. Ben :)
Lori Novo: bye!

And she drives away before he could say anything.

HA! I bet I got you all dancing with this great cumbia by Selena.

[Cumbia is a style of Latin music that originated in Colombia
and became popular throughout South America,
Central America, and the United States.
Traditional cumbia music uses a blend of African,
Amerindian, and European styles
and uses musical instruments such as drums,
flutes, maracas, and accordions.]

Hello Beautiful World!
Today was three of my other dogs' turn to go out for a ride, Moe, Larry, and Curly,
and what better place than our beautiful Tempura Island. I wanted to show them around
the place that I like to call my second, Second Life home. Not only are there so many beautiful
spots that carry such sentimental value for me due to the many memories I was so blessed
to create with many of my friends, but also, the wonderful and beautiful people who with their
visits every day make this beautiful island magical. I knew that by the end of the day, my
doggies would return home very impressed with what they had seen and the people we had met.

Hello there Mrs. beautiful lady Kira Pidgen!
How about a race?
Two times around, into the ballroom, over the hill, and end here?
Yes?
No?
Maybe?
Are you there?
Hello?

Hmmm... I bet she's pretending to be AFK because she knows there's no way she can beat me. :P

No-no guys! No Beep Beep here.
This is a place of silence where people come to find peace in this quiet place.
It is so annoying when some people come and interrupt the peace with their constant talk talk talk.
Why is everyone looking at me???
Stop it!
Stop pointing your finger at me, it's not funny! >:(

Anyways, this is where your daddy Steppenwolf and I first met. I was wearing a very tacky, I mean,
a very beautiful fluffy red gown and doing Tai Chi and...

Ok, a long story for another time.
Let's continue...

Anyway,
This beautiful golden ballroom is where your daddy Steppenwolf stole a dance from me and I fell
deeply in love with him right, right away. Just kidding! I actually ran away from him. :P

The very first time I tried climbing this stairway, it took me at least fifty times to successfully,
and completely climb without falling down into the water. Now I can climb it by walking backward,
crawling, skipping on one leg, blindfolded, or doing car-wheels

Coming down, out of the way people!

As soon as I stepped foot on Tempura for the very first time, I was immediately attracted to this hill,
this very spot. After that, my visits to Tempura would always bring me to the hill where I would
usually dance alone. This was my special spot that I felt belonged to only me. ;)

Mama bird and her babies are a big part of Tempura.
They are also assumed to be part of the lag problem on the island. But they are absolutely adorable
that I seriously doubt it. They look harmless to me. ;)

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly (woooooo)...

AWWWW... look at the birdies!

SPLASH!
Falling into the water.

We're ok, just out for a swim.
No worries, we are fine.

What A Day!
We ended our trip watching the beautiful sunset from my favorite Tempura spot,
soaking wet but with a huge smile.

Over and Out.
