It Is Feeding Time

EXPLORING SECOND LIFE

“She herself is a haunted house.
She does not possess herself; her ancestors sometimes come and peer out
of the windows of her eyes and that is very frightening.
She has the mysterious solitude of ambiguous states;
she hovers in a no-man’s land between life and death, sleeping and waking.”
― Angela Carter

Another day, another great haunted place to explore.
Hello Wicked World!

Welcome this is
⚠️ Warning: Blessed Bayou contains graphic, gory, disturbing, & adult themes.

Description
[Blessed Bayou Funeral Home was once a thriving, respectable business for many years...
until Norman Thibodeaux took over. Driven by unrequited love and revenge, this New Orleans funeral
home is now full of murder, cannibalism, human experiments, and Voodoo. This haunt contains graphic
violence and gore. Accept the experience and click on doors to view or TP to different parts of the
haunt.]

Oh Boy, do I have a great location for you to explore next. Just a little warning before you get ready
to go. This location is not for the faint of heart. I rate it high when it comes to gore and nudity.

Remember that what I show you is really a small portion of what you will be seeing.
I try not to bring to the blog things that are just too explicit, violence, gore, nudity, sex, etc.
If I do, I restrain myself from taking close-ups. I am aware that some of the pictures may still be
too much for some of you and I do apologize for that.

Before I continue just a little reminder as always.
If you can, please do show some Linden love during your visit.
Remember that all donations, big or small will be so greatly appreciated.

While your visit, remember to explore the funeral home's surroundings.
There is just so much to see both outdoors and indoors. You will find a swamp infested with deadly creatures.
A cemetery where the spirits can't find eternal rest. And behind it all, a cabin where
voodoo and cannibalism exist.

The gore seems to increase with every step you take. And the residents of the land seem
to get more terrifying as you dare to enter deeper and deeper into the woods.

Norman "Bates" Thibodeaux shouts: "I will torture, burn, spill your blood, & steal your soul
happily ever after with Sarah is my goal"

By the way, I have included the full story found in the Notecard that you'll get upon arrival.
about Blessed Bayou Funeral Home on Read More.

Thanks For Reading!
Time to go work my charms on my Steppenwolf now and convince him to join me
at least in one of my haunted places explorations. ;)
Til next time, don't look at your mirrors after midnight. You may not like what you see...

The Story
"The Blessed Bayou Funeral Home and Cemetery is the home and business of Norman Thibodeaux.
"At Blessed Bayou, your loved ones are treated with the utmost respect and tenderness"
That is if you consider their bodies being cannibalized on, used as human experiments,  sacrifices in Voodoo rituals & whatever else respectful...
Norman is the third Thibodeaux to be the owner/mortician of this establishment. Started in the 1920's by his grandpa, Claude Thibodeaux, then passed down to Normans dad, Gene in 1960.  Norman grew up with this business. In fact, the kids used to call him "Norman Bates" for living in the creepy funeral home. A name, that in fact, he never grew out of.

By the time Norman inherited the business, he was 42 years old. Time hadn't been kind to Norman. Neither had the people of the town for that matter....especially the women. No one wants to date "Norman Bates". Most of the time, Norman didn't care...except when it came to Sarah.
Sarah was a touchy subject for Norman. She was his first crush, the first woman to break his heart; the first woman to make a fool out of him publicly. Norman was in love with her the moment he laid eyes on her. Her long silky blond hair and honey colored skin had him weak in the knees. After watching her in class all year long, Norman finally got the nerve to ask her to senior prom. He quietly approached her in the cafeteria and asked to speak to her, to not draw too much attention to the situation. "You want to go to prom with ME?!" she balked loudly. "I would never go to prom with NORMAN BATES!!" Laughter filled the cafeteria. Norman wanted to crawl into a hole somewhere and never be seen again. But he was seen....every day. He was laughed at...every day. His anger grew and he withdrew more and more.

Fast forward 25 years. Unzipping the body bag on his gurney, he gasped as Sarah looked back at him.
Her blank, dead eyes stared up at him mockingly. "Well, you're finally seeing her naked" he thought to himself wryly. That was the day everything changed. Now he could never have Sarah....or could he? Living in the heart of the Bayou, he wasn't exactly a stranger to the dark magic practiced here. Could he bring her back? Could he make her love him? He didn't know how, but he would make it happen even if it killed him (Or made him kill).
So many tortured souls roam these halls. So much unfinished business, so many bodies....so many people thinking Grandma is in the urn on their mantel only for it to be campfire ashes. The spirits are angry, and even Papa Legba himself cannot protect Norman Thibodeaux from the fate that awaits him."
