How many times can a heart be broken for love?

I had my heart broken too many times in the past and was left feeling like a fool,

full of regret and shame.

I kept telling myself, "How stupid, stupid, stupid I am. How could I have fallen for that

and let myself be used?"

But one day, I realized that I shouldn't feel ashamed of what someone else did.

There should be no regret and feelings of shame left in us.

We were the ones who were truthful and genuine, giving the best of us with our love and respect.
