OUR MOMENTS TOGETHER
My Steppenwolf is into old classical movies, so we've been watching just that
these past few days. I can proudly say that tonight, I only dozed off a couple of times
just for a few minutes, unlike the previous times when I slept through the whole movie...
Just kidding my babyyy, I love these movies for reals!!!
Don't go! Come back, it was just a joke!!! :P
Tonight we watched
"The Third Man is a 1949 film noir directed by Carol Reed, written by Graham Greene, and starring
Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, Orson Welles, and Trevor Howard, set in postwar Vienna. The film centres
on American Holly Martins (Cotten) who arrives in the city to accept a job with his friend Harry Lime
(Welles), only to learn that Lime has died. Martins decides to stay in Vienna and investigate the
suspicious death.
The atmospheric use of black-and-white expressionist cinematography by Robert Krasker, harsh
lighting, and subtle "Dutch angle" camera technique are major features of The Third Man, combined
with the iconic theme music by Anton Karas, bombed-out locations, and acclaimed performances from
the cast. The style evokes the atmosphere of an exhausted, cynical, post-war Vienna at the start of the
Cold War."

After ptosis surgery, there are several restrictions and guidelines that patients should follow to ensure a smooth recovery and achieve optimal results:
ReplyDeleteImmediate Post-Surgery Restrictions:
Avoid Heavy Lifting and Strenuous Activities: Patients are advised to avoid any heavy lifting, exercise, or vigorous activities for at least one to two weeks. This helps reduce the risk of bleeding and swelling in the operated area
No Rubbing or Touching the Eyes: Since the eyelid area is sensitive after surgery, rubbing or touching the eyes can interfere with healing and may introduce infection.
Avoid Bending Over: Bending down can increase pressure in the head and eyes, potentially leading to complications such as bleeding. Patients are advised to keep their head elevated, including when sleeping, to reduce swelling.
Limit Screen Time: After surgery, patients should minimize time spent on screens (computers, phones, etc.) to avoid straining the eyes, which can hinder healing.
Post-Surgery Medications and Care: Patients may be prescribed antibiotic ointments or drops to prevent infection. Regular follow-ups are crucial to monitor healing and make any necessary adjustments.
