One of the best music's qualities is that it is universal. Anyone in any part of the world can listen to it and feel the emotion it passes. Even when you don't know the lyrics of a nice song and whatever it means, it can have the ability of making your body moves as no one were looking at you. Who had the idea of putting music streaming in every single Sim on SL was a genius! Some lands have so nice songs that you don't even need to be present, you just leave your avatar there, increase the sound volume and go to do things in the real life with the SL music as a background. Some lands renters offer you different radio stations, so you can choose what kind of music to hear when having a rest at your land, what makes the thing more pleasurable and fair, as many different tastes are being attended.
There are also some animations that you buy and it comes with your preferred song with. So you wear the animation, say some words in the open chat (those come in a notecard inside the box) and start to listen to your favorite song while your avatar dances. But the very very best is when you have a song animation that can be shared with friends. Then you and all your friends dance simultaneously at the sound of the same song. That can be very funny! As well as it can irritate many people if done on the wrong place :p Don't need to tell you that you can make a Sim very lag using that artifice and many people will desire to kick you! But that is also part of the fun ^_^
On the video below there is an example of how music can be something funny and joyful. Yes, it's the Russian Red Army Choir. Yes, they used to play folk traditional and military songs. Yes, they are playing and singing Daft Punk. And yes, they were brave enough to play and dance it at Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony Pre-Show. If they were not "yes" enough, I have one more "yes" to you. Yes! They also sing Sex Bomb! A special attention here is reserved to the "Mr.Bean" and to the face expressions of the Choir when they are watching themselves singing.
I confess that I laughed so much that my stomach started aching. I'm sure the world is not the same anymore! Good work, guys! :p MUSIC IS FUN!!!
