EXPLORING SECOND LIFE
Dear Second Life,
Hope you all had a great Sunday. As for me, I had a blast.
To start with, it has been cool and raining since last night and you all already know how much
I love the rain and the cold kind of weather. So it has been a perfect day
spent in the company of my family.
Today we've been taking it slow unlike yesterday when we were so hyper, especially me ;)
I just finished watching a while ago Oscar-nominated, Captain Phillips, the American thriller film
starring Tom Hanks.
The true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking
by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama,
the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years.
If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it to you ; )
Taking it slow today included no cooking. So I ordered some takeout from one of our local restaurants
in the area but had it delivered. We live just a few blocks away from where most of our city restaurants
are located which include pizza, pasta, Mexican, Chinese, hamburgers or fried chicken, etc. You name
it, we got it, but with this weather and the low energy level I am in, delivery was my best option. Now, I
made sure to follow our "Better Appreciation For Our Wait And Kitchen Staff", act of kindness and
tipped the delivery guy generously. :)
So yesterday, very late at night, after the house was silent and my kids had gone
to their rooms, I logged into Second Life and took these pictures but not before
stopping first to get the new Group Gift from

While there I had the pleasure of meeting Holly (dacotah.longfall) (Sim Owner) and
Flickr photographer Lil Lowey (lilplaything), they informed me that not too long ago,
Toriaty (Torley Linden) had visited this beautiful place.
I invite you all to visit this beautiful Sim and explore it because I guarantee you will find beauty
in every corner. It is perfect to take pictures there or just to have a peaceful time. And as always, I ask

These are the photos I took to share with you during my visit, there was so much to see
that I didn't know where to start. Keep in mind that as always, what I present to you is just a small
portion of a bigger picture. The above photo is my favorite one from my Pines At Jacob's Pond series. I
personally feel so much peace and see so much beauty when I see it and to me, it is the best photo to
represent how I see The Pines At Jacob's Pond.
