“... If the dead can come back to this earth
and move unseen around those they loved,
I shall always be near you;
in the garish day and in the darkest night—
amidst your happiest scenes and gloomiest hours—
always, always;
and if there be a soft breeze upon your cheek,
it shall be my breath;
or if the cool air fans your throbbing temple,
it shall be my spirit passing by.”
― Paul Hoffman, The Left Hand of God

"Mama!", for the third time she hears the soft child's voice
calling out to her from behind the closed door as she loads the dryer in the laundry room.
She stops and looks towards the door waiting for her son to walk in but the door never opens.
She then asks again, "What baby?", but all she gets is dead silence.
She walks to the door and as she reaches for the doorknob she feels a cold chill
covering her body. She then opens the door expecting to see her small son
standing there but notices the room is dark and empty.
Confused she goes to the living room where her husband has been watching
a late-night movie and asks him if he knows what their son needed.
"What?" he asks wondering what she is talking about.
She then explains to him that their 3-year-old son had been calling out to her just a minute ago.
"What are you talking about, the kids have been asleep for hours " he answers.
Do I believe in ghosts?
Of course I do!
This happened to me when we first moved into our home which used to serve as
a doctor's home and hospital back in 1900.

ABOUT THE PICTURE
Taken On January 24, 2012
This picture is one of my favorite ones from my early SL explorations. It was taken at a beautiful
Sim that was full of ghosts. I ended up taking a whole bunch of pictures during my visit, but this one
I knew it would become one of my favorite from the moment I was taking it.
The three child ghosts holding the white flowers as they walked by, more than a scare
they gave me a sensation of peace, a beautiful and loving feeling of peace.
HERE you can see the original shot.
Back then the only thing I was doing to my photos was cropping them.
No editing or any use of WL setting of any kind.
This time, I did a little editing and a whole bunch of "sharpening" the image. ;)
