Different Languages

OUR MOMENTS TOGETHER

As a hobby, my Steppenwolf takes a class every Monday on written classical Chinese from 2000 years ago.
He already studied it when he was in college but he does it just to refresh his memory. He actually
knows several languages since he is a global manager for the company he works with. He gets to travel
to many different countries for his job but not so much these past years due to Covid so most of his
meetings are now done online. Knowing more than just one language is such a great advantage for him.
Actually a requirement in his career. I am so proud of him!

Last night we talked about what we would like for our children to learn...
Lori Novo: English
Lori Novo: Spanish
Lori Novo: Chinese
Lori Novo: what else my love?
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): not Chinese
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): Italian
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): and French maybe

That's what we would like but they would be the ones to decide what languages they would like to learn.
As long as they learned at least three different languages and how to play a musical instrument we
would be very satisfied. ;)

  1. Well, if they learn Spanish, it will be much easier for them to learn French and Italian next :-) Mandarin Chinese, however, is a different story...
