Tonight, like every Saturday night we went dancing. Steppenwolf insisted on going to LAS

MUCHACHAS CLUB (Moderate) since he knows how much I like it there. I insisted on going

to TROPICANA HABANA SALSA BALLROOM (Adult) since that is his favorite place to go dancing to

Latin music. He always lets me win since he wants to make me happy. However, tonight he won which is

still a win for me because he chose my favorite place to go shake our bag of bones.

And to think that once I wrote a very long Shopper's Guide where I shared all the steps I took

to prepare every weekend for the best and easiest shopping experience.

Welll, today I stand before you singing to another tune. Hey, a girl has the right to change her mind at anytime! :P

But before we get into that, let us join あやめ (ayame.musashi) in this dance to really get in the mood. ;)

Now getting down to business. Do you remember the part in my Shopper's Guide article where it said,

"I usually put on shorts and a simple-short top, preferably sleeveless.

I find that wearing a two-piece outfit works best for me.

This facilitates things when I need to try either a top OR a bottom

without ending up completely naked in the middle of a store."

Well, I still believe that is a very good tip, but then it got me thinking...

Shouldn't I dress better and look my best when I go out shopping every weekend since that is

the time when most people are out taking advantage of all the great sales and I'll be seeing a lot 

more people than usual? Not only that but the possibility of running into friends and haters while

shopping on those weekend days is very high. Plus, it also feels great when we are noticed by

other people...

Now, I am like the following video when I walk into a store.

Anyway, I will have to make a new Shopper's Guide, because now that I changed my mind

about the dress code just doesn't apply to half of what I had written before. :/

By the way, I did buy one of the dresses behind me from the Happy Weekend 60L$ sale

Hello Beautiful World!

What a few more hours and a good night's sleep can do to totally change someone's mood?

Yesterday from feeling like the filth between someone's stinky toes, today I woke up feeling

amazingly in a much better place. Mmm, does that mean I might be a moody person or

simply someone that chooses not to give a damn? I don't like staying stuck in those

negative and ugly feelings for too long. I'll cry and kick for a bit but then I just walk away

to a brighter mental spot and continue as nothing. 

Sadness, frustration, disappointment, and worries are behind me. Gone. Forgotten.

But, "are we the villains of our own stories" like the song says?

Most likely we are, more than we are willing to admit it. It is easier to parade the victim flag

and have everyone's sympathy rather than to admit that we can also be the bad guy sometimes.

Who me? Never! Yes, you and you and most definitely me!

We can't always be the innocent and victim ones, that would make us a saint, and to be honest

with you, being a saint can be too mmm... boring. :P

You have no idea how much fun I am now having dressing up in Second Life.

Now that I finally started wearing my Lelutka Ebox head is like I got a fresh wave of fashion

inspiration. I gotta say girl, we really need to take pride in what we wear.

The outfits we put together every day to wear are totally our unique expression of art in fashion.

We are the Da Vinci, Van Gogh, and Picassos in our wardrobes, or in this case, our inventories.

Each piece we add to our outfits is a brush stroke of beautiful paint and our Avatars are the canvas.

Once we finished putting together the outfit, we absolutely created a piece of art.

Look straight, confident, and in control, shoulders back, back straight.

Now, go out there and show our beautiful creation to the world.

Now, not everyone might like what we have come up with, but that is alright, that is the beauty of life.

Diversity is what makes life interesting. Do you think everyone liked Picasso's art or William

Shakespeare's poetry? Of course not. But still, they continue to be some of the greatest.

I personally don't like following other people's fashion rules like...

Red & Pink clash

Don't wear white after labor day

Shorts are only for summer

Mixed prints are too busy

Sneakers are only for the gym

etc...

They say to only wear gold or silver

but never both at the same time. I've seen girls wearing both together with platinum

and all I can say is "You go girl!" 

I wear what I want when I want and however, I want.

Those are not my rules!

I think and even encourage everyone to create their own fashion rules. How else are we going 

to fully express who we are if we can't step out of the box? To me, there's no wrong with fashion if the

individual wearing it feels good about what they are wearing. The important thing is to feel good and

beautiful about ourselves. To feel comfortable and confident in expressing who we are. And to look in

the mirror after we're done putting together an outfit and saying, "Girl, I look damn beautiful!"
