People change, situations, and relationships, all while life keeps going on.

We come to a point in life where all those things that once made us smile and made us feel so alive

now are merely far-gone memories. People change and move on and so I come to the realization that

second chances will never be the same as how things were in the beginning.

Nothing stays the same,

or at least not the same way as we first encountered.

There is no point in trying to fit in a familiar space, pieces that with time have changed. They won't

fit in the same as before no matter how hard you try to make them. The missing pieces in the puzzle have definitely changed

over time and the only thing that remains is the memory of how all those pieces fit so beautifully perfectly in the past.

And so you find yourself with a half-filled puzzle, you alone as one piece.

But sometimes if you are lucky enough there will be a single piece that will not only stay the same

but will become enough on its own to cover the other half of the puzzle perfectly. It

becomes everything you need to smile and know that you are really blessed to have such a beautiful

treasure that in the long run, that is how it was meant to be. You and your special piece, fitting

together in a beautiful two-piece puzzle, like two halves cut from the same apple.
