Now, I know I haven't been writing real blog posts these past few days but I don't understand the confusion.

It's me, really, trust me so don't try to adjust your televisions, I mean, your graphics.

Simply enjoy the beautiful sight before you and breathe me in. Now, wasn't that so refreshing?

Like a beautiful April shower, or in today's case, more of a thunderstorm. Yes, it is beginning to get

stormy on my side of the world, but I am loving it.

What you are seeing is me wearing the complete FRIDERIKE avatar from the Ugly People Collection

that I found the other day for 5L$ in the Marketplace HERE.

BROOOOM!

Oh lord, that was thunder in real life. [Hides under the bed and continues working on this blog post.]

So as I was saying, my new look cost me only 5L so that explains it all. 

It is not the best in quality since it is a very, and I mean a very old item from about 100 years ago.

Ok, maybe I am exaggerating a little here, better say about 98 years ago just to be safe. 

But while my new FRIDERIKE avatar may be old, very old, cheap looking, and ugly, to me she is

simply adorable and full of laughter. I seriously couldn't stop laughing when I first tried her on.

I immediately IMed my bestie Carmi and sent her a photo of me in my new look, and she too LOLed

so loud that I could almost hear her...

BROOOOM! Oh wait, that wasn't her, it was just thunder again.

Now, Carmi is just as crazy and weird as I am, and when we get together you can't imagine

our conversations and how weird they can get. Everything from coordinating ant races to how much I

am scared of vaginas since I think they look like something from out in space. Mhm, we do talk about

all those things, but in a serious way. :P

One thing about Carmi and me is that we can find fun potential in just about anything,

and in this case, my FRIDERIKE new look. She challenged me to a dare I couldn't resist because

if it involved...

3 Cups of Weirdness

1/2 Pound of Craziness

1 Gallon of Laughter.

Mix all three ingredients together in a dare, you can sure count me in!

Really, what can go wrong? The results can only result in a delicious cake of fun and laughter

where everyone around and involved gets to have a slice.

BROOOOM!

So the original dare was to go to a store where there were people and try some clothes on.

Unfortunately, the only things removable from FRIDERIKE are the hat and hair so Carmi changed the

dare to a hair store of my choice and stayed there for 15 minutes trying hair on. GOT IT!

I picked Doux because I knew there were always people there and ran excitedly to my targeted area...

I was a bit disappointed not to see as many people as I was hoping for when I first arrived.

However, I had a dare on hand to do and nothing was going to stop me now.

But when I was about to start, Vivi IMed me just to say...

Vivi: yu two are crazy ROFL

Lori Novo: what? what do you mean?

Lori Novo: lol :P

Vivi: crazy... crazy

Lori Novo: LOOOL what????? :P...

So just talking with her took about 10 to 15 minutes while I was standing in the middle

of Doux Hair store.

Finally, I was able to begin with the task in hand and off with the hair, sending my

wig across the store and landing on the floor scaring people away thinking it was a huge rat.

I actually ended up trying many different hairstyles because I was having so much fun.

I even forgot that I was on a dare, surrounded by beautiful people, and looking the way I was.

I was in my own world, laughing, feeling happy, and enjoying every minute of it.

I say I stayed at Doux for at least an hour, and not wanting the fun to end.

But the time to leave arrived sooner than I wanted since I was starving and my tummy

began to growl, and for a moment there I thought that my FRIDERIKE avatar included some

weird sound effects, but no, it was just my tummy screaming to me, "WOMAN, FEED ME!"

But the two things I learned from this dare were, first, Doux hair is so amazingly created that it'll look great

no matter what you put it on. And second, that even looking the way I was looking I made some male

heads turn (winks). I stood out from the crowd, my difference made me irresistibly unique.

And just like my good friend Jet Ryker (jetryker) says...

"And folks... we all need to remember:

PERSONAL UPDATE

Thank God for good friends that are always there when I need them.

I tell you, I am so blessed with the beautiful people that I call friends.

They are my angels, the light in my dark days, my little pills of joy when I am sad.

My beautiful Carmi is one of them. All I need to do is send her a "I need you!", and in no

time she's by my side, ready to hold me and dry my tears.

Carmi: aw sweetie, it'll be ok

I tell you, she gives the warmest and very long hugs in the world. Love her so much.

Today was a hard day for me, you already know how scared I get every time it is time to evaluate

the status of my health condition.

My friend Bli Bli also had to go for tests today...

Lori Novo: we are like two little wounded birds right now with all they did to us today

I also get so emotional, especially when I don't see my Steppenwolf.

What a great weekend this was, good thing there are still a few hours left to take advantage of those

weekend sales. This weekend was truly a very happy one for me, this is thank to the beautiful

friends that fill my days with such joy and love. And to my loving husband Steppenwolf that makes

life so beautiful for me, always, always! P.S my baby!!!

This weekend I had my friend Carmi join Vivi and me to go out shopping. I tell you, it is so much fun

going with our girly friends on these shopping sprees. Everything turns into jokes and dares. With my

girls is not just about the shopping, is about really enjoying each other's company. ♥

The jokes and laughter never end.

LoL, still laughing so much. Silly friend! :P

Love keeping pieces of those conversations I have with my friends that make me so happy.

Those are the moments that make me tear up with laughter, so I love to keep them in my blog so I can

go back and read them again and again when I am in need to be reminded that life is just so beautiful

when we surround ourselves with great friends.

By the way, this weekend my favorite item didn't come from any of the weekend sales.

It was actually an animated shadow that ᴇ ɴ ᴅ ʟ ᴇ s s  s ᴇ ᴀ (happyshunya) was wearing @ Dust Bunny.

She was so sweet to share with me info on where to get one. ♥ TYSM!

Now, while I had a beautiful and happy time with my friends this weekend, the highlight for me

was when my Steppenwolf finally agreed to go shopping for new outfits for his wardrobe. I had been

trying to get him to buy new clothes for months and the answer was always, "No!, I don't need more

clothes., I hate shopping!" but finally last night he said these words to me...

Oh sweet words to my ears!

Once we got back home after going to all the LM's I had saved that had really nice clothes I had liked

for him, all he wanted to do was hold me, but of course :P, so he tried on his new clothes while holding me. :O 

That didn't go too well, so we left the trying new clothes for another day (wink wink).

So this is all for now my beautiful people. Just remember to make sure you stop to smell the flowers

every once in a while (in my case, the seawater) no matter what you are doing, including exciting shopping days.

So many great names to choose from and I like them all but maybe Little Diva is the perfect name for

her since she is convinced she is a trendsetter, with the "look at me I always look so good" attitude,

glasses, and all. Anyways, It's going to take me a while to decide on the perfect name for her,

and when I do decide on one, you'll be the first ones to know. ;)

So last week I went most days as a redhead with green eyes, and I am starting this week still with

green eyes but this time I dyed my hair blonde like my beautiful friend Carmie who is just so

 ♪"Beautiful like a rainbow"♪. Carmie is my other best friend in Second Life just so you know. ;)

Yes, I feel very blessed to have two best "girly" friends that mean the world to me. ❤

Now, the blonde hair is not permanent. I really want to be able to enjoy every shade there is out there.

Why limit ourselves to only one, or two, or three?

With so many beautiful shades available to us I say, in a world where you can look/wear/do

anything you want, why limit ourselves to just a few? Expand and venture into the horizon

and enjoy life... a crazy and happy life!

This is all for now my beautiful people. Looking forward to the new week ahead

full of new adventures, laughter, and happy moments. And remember that some of the

moments we experience every day and take for granted, in the long run, they

become some of our best memories.

Hello Beautiful World!

For all my beautifuls in the USA, Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Today my Steppenwolf is away with his brothers and their families celebrating the holiday.♥

As for me, I spent a few hours with my good friend Carmen in Second Life, taking advantage

of the great Black Friday sales that are already going on.

We had planned to meet first at a small cafe that I love so much

because I know it is always raining there...

in the company of a good friend, what a beautiful way to start my day.

We had so much catching up to do that by the time we realized, almost two hours had passed.

We talked about everything and joked so much that I was in tears and couldn't stop laughing.

Before leaving, we made a list of the stores we both wanted to go to. I was glad to hear that just like

I do, she only wanted to go to those that are offering 50% off or more discount. That is one of my

biggest rules in Second Life when it comes to shopping for good deals. The only store I excuse

from this rule is Doux.

Our list for the day wasn't too long, with only a few of our favorite stores. 

However, we did make a second list of the stores we will be visiting tomorrow when their Black

Friday sale begins. 

By the way, November Rain Cafe is one of my favorite Second Life spots to visit when

I am in the mood for some chill time. The music stream is great and the atmosphere is serene

and inviting. Love its solitude and the sound of the rain that I always feel at peace.

Maybe, just maybe, one day we will run into each other there and enjoy a delicious cup

of freshly brewed coffee together. ;)
