The Lab

"...today more then ever scientific research has got a thousand directions full of risks to the man himself, as well as for the environment that is his life support.  In the life of everyday we can see the effects often exciting, but, sometimes, disastrous that evolution produces.
Hiding

I wanted to represent the fantastic scenes taken from my store of memories and feelings.  One of them leads us into a centre of genetic research where  new biological forms are developed, often to the limits of human understanding, but necessary to understand where research can be addressed in the following years.
Ricercatore

From these extremisms, the risk occurring events difficult to control or the side effects in the medium and long term. This is the case of OGM which, in the opinion of many, can be a serious question for human development.
A Closer Look

Another one is the production of micro-organisms used for industrial purposes such as bacteria created to eliminate the pollutants from the water. They may focus their attention on different forms of live on the planet, by evolving themselves, using water as a vector.
Under The Microscopio

The other scene takes us in a nuclear research lab, where physicists are handling radioactive elements. In itself, in the laboratory, there are not particular risks: the protections for researchers are sufficiently safe. But it is out, in the world, as appears from behind the window of my imagined scene, that the effects of radiation become disastrous for the environment.
The Flame

As a result of natural disasters, or neglect of man, over the years, huge amounts of radioactive waste overfill into the environment, intended to produce their devastating effects in centuries.
The Children

The kids in the scene are missing of some parts of their bodies, to symbolize this devastation.  The timing of the research are often too short to fully evaluate the consequences of what is produced afterwards. I wanted to emphasize in these scenes, that these aspects need to be taken into extreme account by researchers and by who finances them and often influence their activities, with cursory expectations.
Playing

Human life is too precious to be put in risk and must return to evolutionary rates more in harmony with nature  and environmentally friendly..."
