Yesterday Steppenwolf and I visited a beautiful location.

Description

ToddleeDoo Events is thrilled to invite everyone to the Spring Fair! Running from March 22nd

to April 8th, their Annual Easter Eggs Hunt will take place but with a new twist: this year

it will be held at a single location for a real egg hunt experience.

All are welcome, both young and old, to join in fostering unity 

in children and families community.

It was actually my Steppenwolf that suggested we go and do an Easter egg hunt

to which I happily agreed but it wasn't until we got there that we realized it was a hunt for children.

Still, we decided to stay and I am so glad we did because even though the egg prizes contained items

for children, some of those prizes can also be fun for us grown-ups. There is no need to join any group

to do the hunt and the hunt prizes are free! There are still four days left to do this hunt before it ends

on April 8th.

Hunt Description

Over 50 designers have prepared at least one egg to hunt within the fair grounds!

Attach the best-fitting easter egg basket found in this starting kit then explore the grounds to find the

eggs. For every 10 minutes you are on the sim, your basket will gain a new egg, for a total of 6 eggs.

After achieving a full basket, you will unlock the ability to fill the basket manually.

A big thank you to Eeilee Zentz for preparing this special basket for the fair. 

Keep in mind:

- Inside each uniquely textured egg is its own corresponding gift. 

- You will find all eggs within the inner curb of the park (not within booths).

- Every time an egg is collected, it will move to another position. Tricky, tricky!

- You may collect the same egg only once per day, even though it moves.

The egg will let you know if you have already found it.

- A majority of creators have posted hints of their egg contents, but some chose to keep 

the gifts a surprise!

- There is no HUD to keep track of all eggs received, due to limitations, but this will make the hunt

more interesting and life-like ❤ We recommend you check designer ads for gift hints.

The main part of this beautiful Spring location is the Spring Fair where you can find everything from

cute and beautiful clothing to toys and other children's items. I did see some very pretty dresses and

accessories that I liked for my Little Alice avatar. 

Fair Description

In each booth, you will find New and Exclusive spring-themed releases by our talented kid and family

designers. You can visit our main sponsor booths in the plaza. The majority of booths are found on the

outer perimeter street of the grounds, as well as a few booths within our garden area.

And as it always happens, I visit a location for one thing, but I always end up staying for the scenery.

This time, this location turned out to be one of the most beautiful ones I've seen. As you know,

there are only four days left to visit this year's Toddleedoo's Spring Fair and Easter Egg Hunt

so you must hurry. Just remember that it is a kids' safe zone so make sure you remove any/all

adult/sex huds and attachments before you get there. ;)

I was immediately attracted to his amazing avatar as we crossed paths and had to make a cam U-turn

to follow him. I was carefully studying every item that he was wearing and noticed that I had

the same hat and glasses as his and I thought... Mmm, why don't I try to put together his same look

just for fun? So I ran home and I went into action digging for the hat and glasses. I was glad to still

find him when I got back to the event. So this one's for you ŠÇЯЄĄΜΙΝĞ  ŢØÀŠŢ!

Hello Beautiful World!

I sometimes tend to leave Kansas to then return with my tail between my legs like a little lost puppy.

This usually happens when I think the grass might be greener on the other side and so I run to it,

like a moth drawn to light. Sometimes it takes me a while to realize that the grass is fake, yes, shiny

and pretty, but not real. Then, I look back to my own grass and realize that "oops" my yard has the best grass

in the neighborhood. And I run back feeling very proud of my grass and I water it and watch it

grow, and grow, and grow, until very early one morning I am awakened by Steppenwolf's lawnmower

mowing my beautiful grass. Then I'm thinking, "Oh man, but it looked so pretty. >:("

But you know those neighborhood regulations where you have to keep the grass clean-cut as if it is

serving some military duty. If it was up to me I would let it grow and grow till it was as high as the

trees, then I could play there hide-n-seek with my Steppenwolf. Can you imagine how much fun that would be?

Now, I am aware that by now you all are wondering what am I talking about, "Is she ok?

She's not making any sense." I know this is just nonsense talk that at the moment I am thinking is damn

good writing, but trust me, in a day or two I'll be laughing too. So this is really for my own

amusement to save for a rainy day when I find myself in need of a good laugh. :P

Anyways, when I say that sometimes I think the grass might be greener on the other side I am not

referring to anything in particular. It is just a metaphor for Doherty's quote about Kansas.

In the film The Wizard of Oz, Kansas represents "home" for Doherty. Kansas also represents

our normal surroundings and what we are used to. When we find ourselves no longer in Kansas

it means we have stepped out into the unknown, usually into strange or/and uncomfortable situations.

Toto, I have a feeling we are at the ENCHANTMENT EVENT.

Indeed, today I wore my new beautiful Oz Doherty Full Outfit by irrISIStible

and embarked down the yellow brick road on an excitable journey full of color and wonder.

This quarterly shopping event has to be one of the most loved events in Second Life based on all that is

magical and fairy tales. This time, it opened with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Round (& Other Oz Tales),

based on the 1939, American musical film, starring Judy Garland.

Description:

Embark on a whimsical journey down the yellow brick road at our enchanting Wizard of Oz Shopping

Event and Hunt. Explore a bountiful emporium filled with treasures inspired by the Emerald City, from

sparkling silver slippers to whimsical magical wands. Get lost in a kaleidoscope of colors, where every

item holds a hint of Oz’s extraordinary charm!

I absolutely LOVE my new Doherty outfit by irriSIStible that you can get at the event

together with all the other characters from the film who come in complete outfits with everything you will need

from skins, hair, accessories, shoes, etc.

Doherty Outfit includes dress, stockings, hat, basket with Toto in it, and my favorite item

the sparkling red shoes.

Now the highlights of today's visit to the event.

First, when I ran into Lilia Levitsky dressed also as Doherty, it made me very happy to see that I wasn't

the only one at the event in a costume. She looked beautiful in her Doherty dress and I noticed she had

very beautiful, expressive eyes. She was very friendly and I was very happy that she accepted to be

photographed for the blog. Thank you Lilia! <3

After I had photographed Lilia, I came across a beautiful couple that I am sure many of you will

recognize. This is Kit (kit.boyd) and John Garrison (galenrovere), well-known Second Life

photographers and the sweetest and friendliest people you'll have the pleasure of running into.

I have known them both for years now from Flickr but I believe this is the first time I have actually

seen them inworld, so you can just imagine my joy. I couldn't stop smiling and I'll tell you a little

secret, I was also very nervous but very, very happy. <3
