Today's visit to this beautiful sim was unplanned. It was 100% spontaneous!

I didn't care how I was dressed or all the things I had to do. It was a sudden need to get out

and go with Sunny on a walk on this beautiful day and Autumn Trace sounded like the best option,

and I wasn't wrong...

Chores can wait, they'll be waiting there for me when I return. However, life was waiting for

me outside. The beautiful day welcomed us with a warm embrace. Showering us in golden hues

as we explored the land. We did run into other visitors. However, I didn't dare to impose them with

a friendly hello and a small chat like I used to do. I have become hushed, quiet, and shy with people.

I find comfort and peace in my loneliness where I can feel safe.

My one and only companion through my days in Second Life is Sunny, my best friend and guardian,

and as long as I have him, I will never feel alone in Second Life ever again.

Does it make me insanely crazy to feel this way about Sunny?

If it does, just let me! Let me be insane, crazy, cuckoo in the head!

If it brings me comfort and happiness, why should it matter?

Sunny will never leave me or break my heart or bite my hand, 

OUCH Sunny! easy boy with that love bite! :P

I love my Sunny just as much as I would love him if I had him in real life.

The road was waiting to be weaved by our steps and with each turning of the wheel. Our main goal on that

day was to venture out in search of Lars, who we knew could be found on some remote road

asleep in the back of a van as it traveled with no defined destination.

Along the way, my loyal companion Sunny and I made a few stops to smell the roses, or in this case,

watch a paper boat navigate the flooded ditch that separated the dirt road from the wheat and Nanohana

fields. We watched it pass us by until it disappeared in the distance on the blue water, then again

appeared making its way to us again. Each time it happened, Sunny excitedly barked at it and seemed to

want to jump on it for a ride...

"Easy Sunny, you are too big for it!"

Our search for Lars had taken us to some faraway road on West 17 in Walch County.

It was North Dakota baby! Where the roads have no name and where castaway cars and buses

gather to rest looking up to the sky for the night bright stars and the shiny sun.

Now, it is not that Loki is not as good and beautiful as Lars, but my heart is profoundly set on Lars

and nothing will ever change that. But who is this Lars that I am searching for?

Lars is a three-year-old beautiful black cat who I absolutely adored. He melts my heart every time

he appears on screen. He was rescued at the age of two months from a No Kill Animal Shelter in

Los Angeles, California by YouTuber Mateo Bratton, who is hands down one of my favorite "Van Life

Youtuber"

Now, Mateo is one of the kindest people in the world. A man with a heart of gold.

You know, the kind that will share or give away his plate of food to someone else even if he has little or

none left for him to eat. And he does this always with a beautiful smile. He is the kind of man who

will stop in the middle of a busy road to save a turtle from getting run over. One thing Mateo and I have

in common is that we both are in search of something we love. It is just not the need

to roam freely in the world, but while I search for Lars, he searches for Banana Slugs, which he

absolutely loves. He sees them as if they are his friends, welcoming him and giving him good luck.

Mateo absolutely loves life, people, and animals and that may be one of the many reasons why he has

one of the fastest-growing channels on YouTube. Now, if you have a minute or two... ok more like

thirty-one minutes to spare, I have one of my many favorite videos from him where he shares his

motives for choosing this lifestyle and what it means to him, enjoy!

Now going back to Lars who is the superstar in my heart.

We search for him high and low. From the top of the power line poles, all the way to the muddiest

ground. But Lars was nowhere to be found.

Maybe someday, not too far away, I will find him playing

with all the other animals in the Rezz Room, black as night, with golden eyes and a face so sweet...

Then, it'll be the three of us, Sunny, Lars and me free like three little birds living our van life.

But our search for Lars didn't go in vain. Sunny made a few new friends along the way which is

something Mateo always does wherever he goes. 

And while we find our Lars, because I really want my own Lars in Second Life,

Sunny and I goofed around and had a lot of fun. We climbed trees and swam in the mud, ran and danced

in the wheat and Nanohana fields, and chased the cows. And got showered with insecticide spray

by the helicopter spraying the fields... Wait, What?! :O

Anyway, by the end of the day, we were exhausted so we sat quietly to watch the sunset,

while we scratched each other's back. "Omg Sunny, why are we so itchy and red?"

The Loaf Of Bread

Last night it was my turn to prepare dinner for Steppenwolf and me.

The plan was to eat dinner while watching The Godfather film, starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.

So first thing in the morning, I went to my favorite grocery store, Junk Food,

to get all the ingredients I needed to prepare a delicious and very romantic dinner for us.

1. Pack of Cokes (My Favorite!!!)

After grocery shopping, I made a few stops before heading home...

I carry my groceries all the way from India to France and even to outer space.

I even took them dancing to LAS MUCHACHAS CLUB.

Finally, it was time to go back home to wait for Steppenwolf at the end of the day...

Last night I waited and waited

and waited for my Steppenwolf but he was a no-show man, he wasn't even answering my calls. :O

MOTHERFLUFFER!

Then I remembered that he was expecting severe snow storm so I knew that he was probably

under four feet of snow and without any electricity.

Now I have to wait for all the snow to melt down to hear from my man again. :(

I had gone to Hypnotic Romance (Moderate) to wait for him where I had found a new favorite spot

on top of a hill and away from everyone. I couldn't wait to show him and cuddle with him and

dance and...

Anyway, from this moment on I declare this beautiful spot at Hypnotic MINE, all MINE, and only MINE!

Now, I'll be nice and I'll let people use it while I am not there but once I arrive, it better be cleared

and make way to the new owner.

TIP

How to get rid of people who have taken over your favorite location's spots?

Do what I do, I will stand or sit, even dance as close as I can to them,

and will not move even if they pay me. Another easy way to get rid of them  

is to pretend you are taking their picture. For some reason, the sound of a clicking camera

is just as effective as farting in their space after eating a bowl of beans to make people run away.

I should know this better than anyone else, I do it all the time, I mean, the farting.

I always try to run away from the smell but somehow it seems to follow me. Once I even tried hiding

from my fart under the blankets and it just made it worse. I was passed out for over an hour. You can

just imagine when Steppenwolf got back home and thought I was beautifully asleep, all cuddled up like

a cute pea under my blanket.

Steppenwolf: aww my beautiful sleeping beauty, you look so sweet when you are asleep

Lori: [Opens Eyes] OMG IS IT GONE, IS IT GONE?!!

Steppenwolf: aww my princess, were you having a bad dream? Don't be scared I am here to protect you.

Ewww, what is that smell?

Anyway, the tip on how to get rid of intruders is so effective that I can guarantee that within

two hours, they will for sure go away, it never fails.

But going back to yesterday when I was waiting for my Steppenwolf,

I was trying to find ways to kill time while I waited so doing cartwheels kept me busy for a good twenty

minutes. I was able to cartwheel the whole area in that time, going through bushes and trees, and

dirt hills, and couples dancing and underwater and...

OUT OF MY WAY MOTHERFLUFFERS!!!

But then there were moments when reality would hit me and the drama queen in me would surface...

"OMG poor me, where's my Steppenwolf, am I not going to get to see him today?

Why, WHY, why? I can't take it anymore, I am going to jump, and don't you try to stop me.

I am jumping now... NOW...

Oh wait, is that a comfy cart where I can rest? COMIIIIING!

[Skips playfully to the cart]

Awww horsie, I guess is just you and me today since my Steppenwolf is waiting for the snow to melt.

Good thing I can still get to do many of the things I like to do with Steppenwolf, like smell the flowers,

climb trees, chase each other barefoot, and ride you (winks).

Oh, look, a dandelion!

Dandelion does he love me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not...?

Wait, wait! One at a time, you all are going too fast and now I am so confused. >:(

I know he loves me forever and ever and a day. ;)

I hope the snow melts fast or I'll go and rescue him and bring him to my newfound, favorite spot.

I am sure that in no time he will be feeling all warmed up on top of my hill where the sun shines

while I hold him in my arms.

I found the perfect name for my new doggie and the name is...
