Today was like one of those days when the water was standing still. No inspiration at all.

Not a clue what I could write about in this blog post. Maybe just the picture and a quote.

That was until I looked out my window and noticed a cute couple across the street in the park.

I liked the way the young man was holding the girl. Like protective and proud. As if letting the

world know, "She is my world, no one can hurt her." I smiled because that is the way my

Steppenwolf makes me feel when I am in his arms. I kept watching the couple as they talked while

looking into each other's eyes without letting go of the warmth of their embrace.

Suddenly, they started dancing!

It was beautiful to watch. It wasn't a simple dance, but a waltz, with graceful spins and dips, and

occasional kisses. They kept dancing while people walked by and children played. I am not sure if

they had some music playing or not, since I couldn't hear from where I was. But I am sure they didn't

care if they didn't. Really, who needs music when you can dance to the beats of two hearts in love? My

Steppenwolf and I do that often. So I know how she was feeling. She was feeling so loved, special, and

beautiful. I wanted to keep watching them in their beautiful moment, but really, I needed to respect the

beautiful moment that they were having. Still, their love in that moment gifted me a smile

that has lasted the whole day.

Hello Beautiful World!

Happy Wednesday to all. I've decided that it's never too late to celebrate my mother's favorite

time of the year, Christmas.

Since my mother's passing back in April 2017, Christmas has become the hardest time of the year for me.

I go into deep depressions and anger. I truly become the Grinch during the holidays.

Many times I wished that I could just fall asleep during that time and wake up when everything Christmas-related

has been completely cleared out, and no sign of it is left behind.

It is crazy how my mind works, since my mother loved Christmas, and she seemed to always be the happiest

around that time of the year. But really, my mother was always the happiest person I knew,

kind-hearted and so full of love and joy for life that it was hard not to get contagious

by her beautiful soul.

Now, the happy memories of my mother so lovingly celebrating Christmas are bittersweet.

I smile and cry, and cry and smile, and sadly, crying beats the smiles because I know I can

never have her again in my life to celebrate Christmas together.

My Steppenwolf tries to cheer me up every Christmas by decorating our home with

lights, poinsettias, and a Christmas tree, among other things. If he plays Christmas music, I mute it, and I learned to ignore all the holiday decor as if it were invisible to me. Every year, he tries to talk me

into opening my heart again to this beautiful holiday and letting the Christmas spirit in, unsuccessfully!

And unsuccessfully, he had been all these years until now. This past Christmas, my husband said something to me that I am sure he has said to me every year, but I had dismissed his words as he was saying them. This time I listened.

"Baby, honor your mother by celebrating Christmas, which she loved so much."

That's all he said, and his words were perfect and enough.

they gave me room to think and fill the rest once I let them into my heart.

They made me think that my mother is in every Christmas light and in every note and lyric of a Christmas song. She smiles through every happy smile on people's faces during the holidays.

My mother is the most alive during the holidays, and she has been waiting for me to continue to

celebrate all Christmases together. So I have decided that in my mother's memory, I will continue to honor her by celebrating Christmas with a heart full of joy and love, for her and the holiday.

Hello Beautiful World, and a very Happy New Year!

May the new year bring peace to the world, and may humanity be showered with much love, 

happiness, and good health.

Any New Year's resolutions? None for me, thank you!

What's the point, really? I always fail to follow them after a few weeks into the year, 

and then I feel like a total loser. Instead, I'll just make momentous ones when I feel like it for a day.

They don't have to be big ones necessarily. As long as it is something that helps make my day happier,

more peaceful, or healthier, then I am down for that. No stress, just chill sailing into the new year.

So my sweet husband Steppenwolf thinks I am a bit crazy. Silly man, of course I am crazy...

crazy in love with him! But then again, I would rather be crazy than boring. Keep my mam

on his feet, always wondering what I'll do next, and then, BAM!, hit him with a crazy move

and scare the hell out of him while I laugh hysterically. But he loves it even though I almost

give him heart attacks every time.

Hello Beautiful World!

My sweet, gorgeous Steppenwolf is away on a business trip. I hate it so much when he has to travel

on business. He tends to get completely occupied with meetings and such that he only has a bit of time

to call me. But he does, and I love it, even if it's just a quick hello and an "I love you". Thankfully, this 

time is a very short trip, just a couple of days, but for me it still feels like an eternity.

I adore this man, I tell you... OUCH!, I just pinch myself to make sure it is not just a dream.

After fourteen years, I still can't believe how lucky I got to find my Steppenwolf. ;)

Now, would you believe it if I told you that my whole outfit was free?

Everything from the eyelashes, lips, and freckles, down to the thong, which of course, I can't show you here. :P

Hello Beautiful World!

After the storm comes the... beautiful Friday?

Is that how it goes? I am fairly certain that is correct. ;)

My Pollito and I survived the storm last night, yay! There were over 2000 lightning strikes

recorded in my area, and much heavy rain and very strong winds. Pretty scary.

By the time my Steppenwolf came to see me, my stress level was over the top, happy and grateful

that it was over and that we were safe, but still shaking.

Many surrounding areas lost electricity, but I was one of the fortunate ones who didn't.

Now, after the storm comes the cleaning up. Tree branches, leaves, and my neighbor's trash.

I woke up to a yard covered in trash, probably a month's worth of trash, not kidding.

Call me crazy, but after last night's scare, I thought the yard actually looked very festive and happy this morning,

colorful with all the trash, like a beautiful spring garden. ;) Thank you neighbor for the trash!

Time for dinner now.

A new round of the COSMOPOLITAN EVENT just opened two days ago, and I just had to pay it

a visit before this round ends on June 21 (Gallery). I absolutely love how this event is set up.

Easy to navigate, not like other events where I can easily lose direction of where I was going.

I remember when many, and I mean many years ago, when Cosmopolitan first opened its doors,

it was just a small room, it was then called The Cosmopolitan Room. It was so small that it was

hard for me to really comfortably navigate my cam inside its walls. I had the honor of becoming

part of the blogger team for many years. Unfortunately, I lost my spot when I became ill and had to

take some time off, and on my return, I discovered that there were no second chances. My spot was

already filled and I was never able to get it back. I was really heartbroken to be honest.

But oh well, Cosmopolitan continues to be one of my favorite events, which I try to promote from

time to time in the blog. ❤

It is absolutely beautiful and probably one of my favorite hairs in my inventory.

Hello Beautiful World!

While summer is still weeks away from arriving, temperatures have already started to reach the high 90s

here in South Texas. By nighttime, I am ready to jump in the pool and into the arms of my Steppenwolf.

The good thing about summer is that Steppenwolf and I spend a lot of time at the beach or in our pool

having nice iced drinks and listening to great music like the song above, Always On My Mind by Nané (RIP),

which is one of my favorite songs.

But while nighttime comes and my husband gets back from work, he always has me on his mind,

thinking of me and wondering what I am doing, and if I have eaten since I tend to often skip meals

during the day. He also wonders what I am wearing and can't wait to see me. I love that about him.

I remember once many years ago, back in 2013 to be exact, when I sent him the link to a blog post I had just published,

and I was wearing a beautiful new swimsuit, and it absolutely drove him crazy.

Yes, I admit it, I was teasing my husband, reminding him what was waiting for him at home.

And it worked, he called me repeatedly during the day, admitting that he couldn't stop thinking of me,

and that my friends was a successful tease with a very happy ending. ;) Here you can check out that post.

There is nothing wrong with teasing and keeping our man on their toes. It adds excitement to the relationship,

leaving no room for boredom. As long as the tease delivers, then it can be a fun game

for both. I love knowing that my husband desires me all the time, even after over a decade, and

that our intimacy feels just as good, if not better, than when we first met. ;)
