But with everything that is going on in Palestine and what still continues to go on in Ukraine,

it makes it so hard to see your beauty. I know it is not your fault but humanity that seems to have lost

its hearts and all its essence of what is righteous and noble. You are our home, our beautiful home, and

with our actions of violence and so little care for humanity, we continue to destroy you, polluting the

air, and the water, bombing whole cities, and killing all that is innocent and pure.

Please continue to pray for peace on Earth.

Why? Well... Why not?

They are part of my Second Life journey where I want to document as much as I can

of my everyday experiences, from the smallest to the biggest of things.

One day I am sure everything that I have been keeping in this blog will make me smile, laugh, or cry.

But for future reference and for those men who might be sending these types of compliments my way,

just know, that not only do they not work on me, but they have a repellent effect that makes me

run away laughing but thinking "Ohhh WOW, that was good!" :P

🍂 All The Fallen Leaves 🍁

How splendid, a royal season dressed all in gold!

So Autumn arrived while I was away but from my window, I enjoyed watching how

the Autumn winds began to undress the trees of their leaves which had turned into rustic and golden

tones. It was such a treat to watch them so gently fall from the branches and how they slowly floated

lower and lower until they touched the ground below, covering the grass and the soil in a brown-sugary 

and cinnamony carpet. I could almost smell the season, a mixture of sweet and spicy scents,

and if I had tasted it, it would have been delicious too, I bet.

Now, with autumn we get to see one of the most beautiful rains that Mother Nature

so loveling gifts to us. That is the rain of leaves...

🍂 It was on a beautiful

Autumn afternoon

and while driving to my mother's house

that I saw

a beautiful rain of falling leaves.

I had reached a four-way stop on the road

and while waiting for my turn to proceed

I felt the soft breeze of the afternoon.

My truck's windows were rolled down

and the music on my radio was playing very low,

letting me listen to the sound of the leaves

as they started to fall down.

The leaves from the tall trees

fell so gently over me,

it was like a magical moment

as if they had been waiting for me

to gift me such a glorious shower of nature's love.

I remained still, for a while at the corner of the road

missing my turn to proceed several times.

I couldn't part my eyes from what was happening...

I never wanted that moment to end. 🍁

This is something I wrote back in November 2018. It is a beautiful memory

of my mother's last Autumn when she was still with me.

My mother was so much like an Autumn leaf.

She floated gently during the storms in life, in full-cheerful force of kindness and beauty, in joy and hope.

My mother was beautiful in all her seasons and her falls were never falls, but reasons to thrive to live

happier, and to do better. She always managed to remain beautiful without slowing down

or giving up. She lived to the fullest all her life and her beauty never abandoned her...

🍂 I am the leaf that lives on the tree

dressed in colorful greens.

I am strong, and full of life

watching my tree's shadow 

dancing for me

with the wind.

I am that leaf,

now lying at the foot of the tree

dressed in golden and brown.

I smile as I look up at the sky

watching the birds that fly by

and feeling thankful 

for the life that I have lived. 🍁

My mother died a queen. With a crown made of jewels of joyful-memories from all the love

she gave to everyone she loved and all strangers who had the fortune of crossing paths with her.

My mother was and continues to be my biggest inspiration in life. To be strong when all

I want to say is, "Please no more." To wear a beautiful smile even in my darkest days.

And to stay golden even when I had fallen, just like an Autumn leaf.

Because Autumn leaves after they've fallen, they continue to go on, strong and beautiful

 with their new transformation that continues to capture our eyes.

It is then, when they are resting on the ground that they become treasures....

🍂 Her brown eyes began to widen as she noticed the beautiful transformation 

that now surrounded her from the last time she had been out for a walk.

As she continued, she could hear the crunching noise

her steps would make every time her boots stepped on the fallen leaves.

She stopped to look around her and noticed how beautiful

each and every leaf was, even the ones that had been damaged.

She began to collect some of these beautiful leaves,

both, the perfectly intact and the damaged ones,

placing them carefully in her white dress's pockets... 🍁

Once I decided to go out and see if I could find that special someone that would either awe or wow me

to feature in the blog, I headed for my so-loved Tempura Island, where I am guaranteed to often come

across the most amazing people. You can't imagine what a joyful surprise it was when I saw little

Shiny Dust join us in Tai Chi. I couldn't believe my eyes to see for the very first time in all my 13

years a child avatar joins us in Tai Chi. I was absolutely blown away with joy seeing this adorable

little one standing in front of me. I couldn't stop smiling. There was something special about her and I

could feel it in my heart, it was a mixture of tenderness and sweetness and for some reason, sadness too.

Soon after chatting with her, I realized there was a reason why I felt that way before I even knew

anything about her.

You can just imagine how sad I felt after hearing this and how much more I wanted to embrace her

I felt not being able to bring the peace her country needs.

Little Alice Me

Hello Beautiful World!

It is me, little me, my little Alice avatar.

These are some of the pictures I have saved with the intention of writing a kids' story about

how confusing it must have been for a child to understand why they could no longer attend a classroom

or visit their grandparents or go outside to the park and play with their friends.

That was the story idea when we first heard of Covid and the restrictions that came right after.

The purpose of this story was to help the child understand why following these

new changes was very important for everyone's safety, without scaring the child with

explanations that would be too hard for a young mind to understand. To give a child the assurance

 that everything would be okay and how quarantining could be fun.

But as with many of my stories and blog post ideas, it was lost in my huge folder of drafts.

However, now that I have my new iMac I am feeling really excited that I am planning on

including Little Alice in the blog with short stories for your kids. ;)

Little Spring Flower

is one that I wrote back in August 2020.

This is the kind of story I would love to write for children. You can always find them in

my Labels blog section under Little Alice. It'll be as if you have just opened a kids' blog once

you open that label.

Hmmm, maybe I can get Little Alice some sponsors for her clothing

so she can always wear a variety of cute outfits for her picture adventures. we'll see. ;)

One thing is for sure, as much as I love my child avatar, I won't RP as a child any time soon.

I have no interest in going out and socializing as a kid. Little Alice is only to be used

for pictures for the stories I want to write.

Ellie Needs Our Help

Today I find myself feeling not too well. My spirit is down.

But sometimes it is necessary to pull ourselves from the sadness and find the strength to

help out where help is needed, even if it's just for a moment.

Today I found out about this beautiful doggie while visiting e.very mainstore.

On August 1st. 2021, Ellie was diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma, an uncommon but aggressive 

cancer on dogs (Understanding Histiocytic Sarcoma On Dogs). There is still hope that Ellie can

still make it but she needs our help with the costs of her procedures which are very high.

E.Marie, Ariskea, Hangry, Foxwood, and other Second Life designers have come together

to help raise funds for Ellie's procedures. They will be donating 100% of the sales from selected items

(Below Pictures) to Ellie's GoFundMe. All we need to do is to go out there and buy these items 

knowing that it is to help save Ellie. Or you can just donate to the donation boxes that have been
