Hello Beautiful World!

After the storm comes the... beautiful Friday?

Is that how it goes? I am fairly certain that is correct. ;)

My Pollito and I survived the storm last night, yay! There were over 2000 lightning strikes

recorded in my area, and much heavy rain and very strong winds. Pretty scary.

By the time my Steppenwolf came to see me, my stress level was over the top, happy and grateful

that it was over and that we were safe, but still shaking.

Many surrounding areas lost electricity, but I was one of the fortunate ones who didn't.

Now, after the storm comes the cleaning up. Tree branches, leaves, and my neighbor's trash.

I woke up to a yard covered in trash, probably a month's worth of trash, not kidding.

Call me crazy, but after last night's scare, I thought the yard actually looked very festive and happy this morning,

colorful with all the trash, like a beautiful spring garden. ;) Thank you neighbor for the trash!

Time for dinner now.

Hello Beautiful World!

I am expecting a thunderstorm any minute now (RL). I can already hear the thunder outside my

window. There might be tornado warnings as well, which means I need to have my flashlight and my

safe place ready and keep my Pollito (pet kitty) with me in case we need to run for shelter.

The thunder doesn't scare me much. It is the wind and lightning that terrify me, just as big dogs,

dark places, and needles do.

Tonight we went dancing to LAS MUCHACHAS CLUB (Moderate)

And as usual, all the women there were super sexy with huge boobs and butts and I was the only

one with everything tiny. Not wanting to feel left out, I put on a huge fur hat so that at least I had

something big on me. :P My Steppenwolf however, loves my tiny everything and doesn't want

me to change a thing. ;)

Hello Beautiful Second Life and a Happy Fourth Of July to all my fellow Americans!

So last night I finished The Womenstuff Hunt with 105 prizes to collect at 0L per item.

A hunt dedicated to only women's fashion (Accessories, Clothing, Animations & Poses, Avatar

Components, Cosmetics/Nails, Footwear, Hairs, Skins, Shapes, Tattoos.)

and with a very small fee of 50L to join the Womenstuff Group.

This hunt will be ending on July 31st. which gives you plenty of time to do it, so good luck to everyone.

Now I have to be honest with you, I really didn't go in search of all the prizes but only for the ones that

I really liked, (Via HUD). Most prizes weren't hard to locate since the clues provided were easy and fun

and others were not so much. Thankfully I got help twice from two nice ladies who noticed me struggling,

Now this new Firestorm PBR viewer which was just released late last month is driving me crazy.

I've been struggling with the lighting and WLS so much that makes me scream and want to pull out my

hair. I haven't been able to come up with good lighting for my photography despite all the YouTube

videos I have watched to help me with this problem. I guess I just have to give it time.

As for now, hurricane Beryl is making its way to reach us by late Sunday which has me

very worried. I do not only worry about our safety and our home, but I am

also worried for all my kitties outside, twelve of them, all straight that now call my

backyard their home. Two of them were just born a few days ago. ♥ I am also worried for all of

my next-door neighbor's dogs (pit bulls). He has about twenty of them in all sizes. He never seems

to be concerned with their well-being and safety and leaves them out in the open during harsh winter

days and stormy weather. So I'll be praying not only for us and our neighbors but also for all

the animals outside to find safe shelter during the hurricane. AMEN!

But where are my manners?

Please forgive me for I am about to show you a whole bunch of pictures with my face plastered in most of them.

But in my defense, this is another great way of showing a beautiful location and the 

great outfit I am wearing from one of my blog sponsors, :: pm :: Brooke Outfit. What I love about

this outfit is that you can style it in many different ways, casual, biker chic, cowgirl, etc.

Of course, I opted for the cowgirl style since Texan blood runs through my veins, where we wear

the kicker hats and boots and where everything is bigger as they say...

Sim Description

I actually have visited this great sim and its surroundings before on different occasions,

but have blogged only once, one of the main spots in the past, Here.

Today, I spent a good two hours exploring the area and learning so many interesting nature

facts along the way, for example;

Random Bee Facts:

Flowers use all kinds of methods to attract bees, such as brightly colored petals and scents.

The honey bee is the only insect that produces food eaten by man.

Bees pollinate approximately 130 agricultural crops in the US including fruit, fiber, nut,

and vegetable crops.

One of the largest threats to bees is a lack of safe habitats where they can build homes

and find a variety of food sources.

Honeybees also have the ability to recognize individual human faces.

If bees disappeared there would be no more pollination and humankind would only have 

four more years of life left.

While I was exploring I kept checking to see if I could find someone there to chat with and take

their picture, since y'all already know how much I love to include other people in my blog posts.

Unfortunately, people kept coming and leaving right away, so I really never had a chance to 

say hello, maybe next time, fingers crossed. ;)

Before I leave I would like to share a real-life cheating moment that happened to me with the first

boyfriend I had. He and I at the time loved dressing in Western clothes, you know, the hats, boots,

jeans, big buckle belts, etc., AND we loved our Friday night high school football games.

We wouldn't miss a game, even when our team had to play in other cities.

Anyway, it was going to be his birthday and I bought him a pair of western boots that

he liked. All my 400+ dollar savings went into his boots. However, he would never wear them

and I kept asking him why, to which he would always say he was saving them for a special occasion.

Time passed and football season began, and again, we began attending every game but then he started

canceling on me, due to having to work Friday nights, so he said. So I lost interest in going to the

games. But then on the last game of the season, I decided to go with some friends. When the game was

over and as we were going down the bleachers I bumped into him, he was with a girl, holding hands.

It turned out that he had started dating her too and he had been going to the games with her.

I was in tears not really knowing what to say or do. But then I noticed that he was wearing the

boots I had gifted him, that is when all hell broke loose. I really don't know how, but mini-me

reached all the way up to this giant's cheek and gave him a good slap as I screamed at him

"So this is the special occasion you were waiting for?!" and then I took off running heartbroken.

He ran after me, the girl ran after him, and my friends were not far behind. Once by the car, he

kept begging me to forgive him, but I was in tears, and so was his other girlfriend.

Before leaving, my friends literally took the boots off him which I really didn't care for.

I ended up giving them to one of my brothers after they had been sitting in my closet,

collecting dust for almost a year. My ex continued to try to convince me to take him back

for some time, but I couldn't. I couldn't forgive him. The trust and respect were gone.

Remember, CHEATING IS A CHOICE, NOT A MISTAKE!

PERSONAL UPDATE

Thank God for good friends that are always there when I need them.

I tell you, I am so blessed with the beautiful people that I call friends.

They are my angels, the light in my dark days, my little pills of joy when I am sad.

My beautiful Carmi is one of them. All I need to do is send her a "I need you!", and in no

time she's by my side, ready to hold me and dry my tears.

blinding me, forty minutes before midnight,

when the new year is about to come...

Hello Beautiful World!

As you just read, my end of the year ended in tears and the new year begin in tears as well.

Forty minutes to midnight, the father of my children was arrested and taken away over

a broken rear light on my car as he was trying to defend me.

I had driven to my daughter's apartment to receive the new year with my children, and unaware

that one of the rear lights on my car had been broken, I drove not having an idea how much

trouble and tears this would bring.

You can just imagine what a real heartbreak it was when they took George for no reason at all

even though we pleaded with the officer to give him a break since it was New Year's eve and he 

had done nothing wrong. But nothing worked. After they took him and we went inside my

daughter's place, we sat down to cry.

My daughter had prepared so many goodies for us to celebrate the new coming year.

The table was beautifully decorated and filled with food and sweets that she had prepared

during the day. But instead of eating and celebrating, we spent hours on the phone trying to get

George out. Unfortunately, we couldn't and he was released the next day at 3p.m.

Still, I do believe this might be the best new year for me and my family since we started it 

on a very low note. From there, there's no other way but to go up. This most definitely will be 

one of the best years ever, Amen!
