Hello Second Life!

It's Super Bowl Sunday!

Just wanted to show you the house I selected as my free home given to me by LindenLabs.

It is just one of the many great benefits you get when you upgrade to premium membership.

I chose this particular home from the many home choices available for a few reasons...

First, I wanted a small house that had high ceilings and rooms not too small so I can move

my cam around without any difficulties. Second, loved the location so much. My home is on a hill

and it is green all around, with grass, trees, and pine trees. I also loved the neighborhood, beautiful

homes not at all crowded, and very peaceful.

Right after I got the new home, I was feeling very excited to start decorating, so I immediately

started packing a few items with the plan of spending a couple of hours fixing the place up.

However, I immediately came to a halt as soon as I stepped foot in.

The house walls were all white, not that I have a problem with white walls which would go great if

it was a beach area but not in the woods. I did give it a primer base coat which wasn't really necessary

since the walls were already white, but oh well, I am a perfectionist and I just want to ensure a

flawless paint job once the painting process begins. I really haven't decided which way to go

with the colors I want my walls to be. I love a mossy green so I can bring the outdoor feeling into

the home, but not really 100% sure yet.

Now let me take you upstairs to what will be the bedroom. Many ideas are going through my head of

how I will be decorating this room because I really want to make it very beautiful and special

for my Steppenwolf and me. We already had some fun last night (winks) in this new home even though

the house is completely empty, that is the magic of love and passion. ;) But anyway, I LOVE the view

from upstairs looking down at the bottom floor and that grand window that runs all the way from the

floor up to the ceiling. 

The bottom floor consists of three rooms.

The front has a big living area, and two rooms in the back, which I probably will turn into a kitchen/dining

area, and a study, but we'll see. This is the first time in years that I will be decorating a house that I

didn't build. Most of the homes Steppenwolf and I had lived together since we partnered I have built

for us. So this new place I take as a great new challenge to come out with the best I can do working

with the 300 prims that come with the house.

I love the outdoor part of our new home just as much as I love the inside.

It has enough space to make a beautiful garden where I will add the little animated sparrows that

Steppenwolf bought for me. Thank You Baby!

Now, don't think we are moving into this new house.

We love our beach home where we have been living for many years now and have plans to stay there

for many more. This will be just a home away from home where we can go spend some time just to

change scenery, though Steppenwolf is not very fond of the idea, the area, and especially the house. :P

Lori Novo: well yeah but still

Lori Novo: imagine how many ppl in SL wish they could have houses even if they are freebies

Lori Novo: they have to go to sandboxes to change clothes and open boxes

Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): mmhmm

Lori Novo: so we are very lucky my baby

Lori Novo: I am gonna fix this house very nice and if I ever one of my friends is homeless

I'll lend them this house so they can live here

Lori Novo: until they can afford land

Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): ok

I think that is a great idea, I never liked seeing any of my friends being homeless.

Once, many many years ago I sat a HUGE mansion on my land an invited six of my friends to come

live with me. It was such a beautiful time I tell you. My huge mansion was so alive, full of laughter and

good times. No matter what time I logged in to Second Life, I was sure to find people at my home,

a friend or more with their friends that they had invited over. I loved it!

finally, the Super Bowl LVIII tonight at Las Vegas between San Fransisco 49ers & Kansas City Chiefs.

I stand in a house divided between me and the rest of my family. I am a 49ers fan and the rest of them

are going for the Chiefs, we'll see! :P

In The Mood

Hello Beautiful World!

Welcome to another room in our home. This is Steppenwolf's bedroom.

Not too long ago, I shared with you my favorite spot outside our home where I enjoy sitting down

to watch our dolphins play (Here). Now, I share with you my favorite room in the house.

By the way, I built this house for us.

This is Steppenwolf's bedroom/office.

This is where he works during the day, and at night this is where the magic happens.

Actually, we have his & her bedrooms in our home. Steppenwolf's is the naughty room.

This room is when we are in the mood for something more intense.

Most of the decor and sex toys in this room are from Fapple (Adult) which is my favorite

sex store. Fapple specializes mostly in BDSM items, which I love for Steppenwolf's bedroom even

though he and I are not too much into that.

Still, my favorite pieces in our home are those I get from there.

We have a dance pole in his room because I love dancing for my husband

and he loves it when I do. ;)

Whoever says that pole dancing can't be beautiful art, couldn't be more wrong.

His room has everything he enjoys in real life, his wine, books, cigars, and me when he needs me there. ;)

Other times we are in my bedroom or we are playing somewhere else in our land,

since we have fun toys everywhere.

So now you've seen another part of our home.

This room is very manly, mine you will notice is very feminine when I show it to you.

I guess both rooms are OURS, it just depends on what mood we are in. But one thing is for sure,

without my Steppenwolf here, these are just rooms, empty and cold.

He is what makes them home for me.

My First Built

Hello Beautiful World!

I have always liked taking pictures of the homes I have lived in Second Life.

I love being able to go back and revisit these homes through my photographs.

They all bring so many memories that make me smile. 

This particular one was our third home and the first one I ever built.

I wanted something special for my Steppenwolf and me that I decided just to try and build us

a house, not bad I'll say. After that, I have built us a total of four including the current one

we are living in right now and which is my favorite. ;)

Decorating our homes is by far the most exciting part for me.

With each home, I feel my interior design has improved. Here, I was still clueless about

how to add pieces to a room that could come together at the end. Now, I will carefully select

each and every item to add to a room.

Since I started building our own homes I have always included a separate bedroom for

Steppenwolf. I always make sure I add to his room some of the things he enjoys in real life

like his cigars and his wine and good books. My Steppenwolf is a bookworm so books in

our home are a must.

My bedrooms are always very girly. Love candles and flowers and books, 

however, the books in my room are just for decoration since I really hate reading (RL & SL).

Now, the purpose of two separate bedrooms is not to sleep separated from my Steppenwolf.

It is simply to be able to decorate two totally different rooms that we can enjoy depending

on the mood.

For this home, I added my office area in our TV room.

It was so great to have my Steppenwolf nearby watching television while I worked on my blog.

Since then, I place my computer desk in my bedroom.

In this home, we also had a laundry section which Steppenwolf hated just as much as he

hated us having a bathroom, a kitchen, and a dining room. He feels those things are unnecessary in

Second Life. However, the massage table in the restroom was one of the things being used as much as

we used the beds. (Winks Winks)

I loved our dining room, it is my favorite one of all the houses we have lived in.

We got to have many romantic dinners there and even got to celebrate Steppenwolf's birthday

one time with cake and good food and wine.

I love cooking and that includes SL. I loved pretending that I was cooking for my Steppenwolf

and loved how he would go to the kitchen to see what I was cooking for him when he would log in

and then we would sit at the table to eat.

Steppenwolf likes wines and I love the piano and guitar so those are some

of the things that you will always find in our Second Life homes.

Hope you enjoyed this tour of our first home built by me. As soon as I finish decorating our current one

I'll be sharing some pictures with you. The bottom pictures are from the second home we lived in.

I'll see if I can find more pictures from that time so I can give you another tour.
