OUR MOMENTS TOGETHER

Oh, what a most, beautiful and fun night we had at Tempura.

The circle almost got full, but the people there were some of the best people you could

join for a night of meaningful conversation. We had Alec Modan, his first night in Second Life

after being away for 9 years, Welcome Alec!

We also had Drake Knyght (drakeknyght) nice and friendly, brai (braizan) a ray of sunshine

and we had so many other beautiful people join us in what I used to call "The Circle Of Love"

better known, as the tai chi circle in Tempura Island.

Our conversation mainly focused on the sad state of our world. All the violence and all those sad

things that are happening on our planet as we speak. So we talked about how violence should stop,

to be more respectful and kind to others, etc.

However, things are not always as they seem, or as they are being preached.

While in local chat I am praising my Steppenwolf and being sweet to him, behind closed doors, or

better said, in private chat is a totally different story. :P

Lori Novo: I just want to read the notecard [Simple curiosity, not that I was interested at all. :P]

Slave: crawls to her heel, bowing down before her with a letter in its mouth as it begs to her,

Slave: Some days it can afford only around 200-250, some days it can save up to 500, your Highness.

As we go, the more you treat it like sh*t, the more devoted it will feel to you and save up more for you

your Highness.

Okay, did he just offer me Lindens to treat him like sh*t?

At least he is not offering me Lindens for sex like the last guy who contacted me with a... um, proposition.

This guy actually felt harmless and somehow, like a nice guy just with very different interests from mine.

After I told him his notecard was too long for me to read, I didn't say anything else.

I didn't answer to his pleas to be my slave which went on for almost an hour. Now, I didn't mute

or block him to be honest with you because as I said before, he was harmless and I never felt disrespected at all.

Plus what girl doesn't want to feel like a highness at some point in her life, right? :P

After I got home tired from all the walking, my feet were killing me and I thought about how much

I wish I had someone to take off my heels, massage my feet, and bring me a big glass of cold,

fresh lemonade, and suddenly, the lost slave that I had just met came to mind. :P

"SUNNY, LEAVE THAT POOR STATUE ALONE!"

Sorry about that. As I was saying...

So I decided to read his long notecard and found some pretty tempting points that would actually

benefit both, Steppenwolf and me. For example;

●It will do all your chores, keep your house clean, make sure your boots are shining even if you're

walking on a puddle, licking its bottom after every step you take, crawling behind you.

●This loser is here to travel with you when you shop and it shall carry all your bags for you so you

never have to worry, and it will save whatever it can to get you some of them whenever it can

afford your Highness. And it shall thank you for allowing it to.

●It shall live as an object of amusement for you and your friends and it will do anything you say like

running around or doing funny things to make you laugh, and live as your clown not just to you

but to everyone you're with your Highness.

OMG, you see what I am talking about?

Tempting, tempting. Not only will Steppenwolf and I be saving Lindens on house cleaning services,

but my slave will pay me to let him do it. And I'll never be alone when shopping plus I'll have someone

to tell me jokes and keep me laughing 24/7. :P Now if that doesn't convince Steppenwolf to let me have

this slave, maybe the following will;

●You can take all your anger and frustration out on it and it will be grateful for that too, even if it has

nothing to do with what made you unhappy. It is absolutely at your mercy your Highness.

See! Sweet sailing for everyone. Steppenwolf will never have to sit listening for hours to my

yappity yap and demented outbursts because there will be someone else that every single word that

comes out from my mouth will sound like heavenly lyrics to him...

Me: You @#$%@&%#*#&&%!!! >:(

Slave: OMG, that was sooo beautiful!

Now for the slave, it would be ideal to serve me as he said it himself...

●This loser solely exists for one purpose and that is to be serving you, obeying every one of your

commands, and worshiping you. Without it, its miserable life has no meaning your Highness.

And for me, I'll have a clean house for free, yard made, all my pets feed, take Sunny for walks, tickle

Mr. Beast, get massages, invite friends over for comedy hour starting Slave, eat homemade meals,

and much, much more while I get paid from Slave. What more could I ask for? Really?

OMG, I almost sound convinced to accept. LOL just kidding my beautifuls.

"STEPPENWOLF BABYYY, don't get mad, it was just a joke, come back!!! :P

But all jokes aside, while I don't share the same life choices with others I still respect the

way they chose to live their Second Life. We are all here to either express our creativity, role-play

our fantasies, make friends, find love, or simply get away from our real-life problems. Second Life

is an open platform for all to live it as we like, of course, without hurting others. I found Slave's

proportion somehow flattering even though that is not for me. I could never see myself demeaning another person or treating another human as an object, even when they wish for that. Just thinking about something sh*tty to say to Slave makes me feel very uncomfortable. By the way, "Slave" is not his name, I changed it to protect his identity.

I just wonder... to how many other women did he make the same offer to and if anyone accepted?

Slave seems like a good guy so I am wishing him good luck and hope he finds what he's looking for.

Now, time to continue my weekend shopping, see you all out there!

From one to ten happy, I am on a one million now that my Steppenwolf is back from his vacation.

I wish I could spend every minute of the day with him for at least a week to make up for lost time,

but I understand that my man has to work.... grrr, see, I understand. >:(

Tonight for our first date out he took me to the SL FANDOM CON'24 (Fandom Regions)

Event Description

SL Fandom Con, a mega event for Relay For Life, offers a comic-like virtual convention

with five themed regions dedicated to shopping, role play, entertainment, and various fun activities.

Our night began by exploring the event's grounds. The funny thing though, is that after all the years

Steppenwolf and I have been together, we still don't know how to explore like a couple, we say go,

and each takes an opposite direction and we don't even realize it til we run into each other again

far far away from where we started. Tonight of course was no exception. Of course, there are points

where we accidentally reunite and get to explore for a bit together before we both again wander off in

different directions.

Luckily for the both of us, while exploring together we came into a huge arena where we had the

pleasure of meeting Mr. Mud, Mud (bespokecaravan).

and I are not into that and I am sure Mr. Mud isn't either.

EXPLORING SECOND LIFE

Hello Beautiful Second Life!

I wonder if you missed me or even noticed that I was gone for a while.

I am like the littlest of earthly birds that can't fly high in the sky among the eagles and condors

that get to caress the clouds with their wings. I am a little bird that flies very close to the ground

quietly and timidly. But there is so much beauty on the ground just as much as there is in the

sky that my little wings get to caress. So I'll never give up and my joyful flight continues even

against the wind and with wounded wings.

Welcome, this is Natthimmel (Moderate)!

Many years ago, I visited a beautiful sim called Fields Of Gold. It was in my very early years in Second

Life and I can still remember very vividly how beautiful it was, but most importantly, how that golden

place made me feel. The joy and awe that I felt on that day was indescribable. I was seeing the beauty of

Second Life through the eyes of a noob, which in my opinion, is when Second Life can be seen

most incredibly beautiful.

Today, after going over my blog, and revisiting many of my favorite blog posts, I felt a little

spark of inspiration and decided to go out and explore and see what I could find to share with you

and that is how I came upon Natthimmel. While there, I got some of the joy and awe feeling

that I felt many years ago when I walked on Fields Of Gold.

One of the highlights of my visit today to Natthimmel was the wonderful opportunity to take

a picture with Bug (javabug) and her cow, which by the way I am dedicating

this blog post to. Bug is a great Second Life photographer with a beautiful stream showcasing

beautiful moments with her Second Life partner and the beautiful locations she visits.

I came across one simple thing with thoughts of joy and thought of peace.

These are the most beautiful, most interesting, cutest-sweet, and best-dressed avatars

that I encounter during my outings in Second Life.

Hello Beautiful World!

I decided to do a Paparazzi post based on the beautiful people that visit

Tempura every day. I already have a special section dedicated to this beautiful island in

Capturing Tempura Island but today I thought, why not?

Now, I do want to first introduce you to zazou.rivera (above pics) which if there was a nomination

in Tempura for Best Dressed Female Of The Year, without a doubt, she would win it.

Ms. Zazou seems to have a favorite spot on the golden bridge where you will always find her, but then

again, I am sure we all have our favorite spot in Tempura. Actually, I have four different spots on this

beautiful island that I like to claim, MINE, MINE, JUST MINE! :P

But going back to this beautiful lady, Ms. Zazou always seems very quiet and likes to keep to herself

however, I had the pleasure of meeting her and even visited her Second Life home on one occasion

and I got to say, she was very welcoming with a very lovely friendliness about her.

Now, the seven people above, are some of the ones that captured my eye for one reason or another.

Not all of them are regulars at Tempura, but I still had a chance to chat with most of them, confirming

that in fact, they are people that I truly want to have in my blog. However, the last three people, I

can share a little about them with you.

Third to last we have Rhett (rkp 30) who is very new to Second Life, just a few months old really,

so I took a few minutes to welcome him to our virtual world. This is something I like to do when I

notice new residents and want to make them feel welcome.

Second to last we have Adas Davi, a regular on the island and I am sure very well-known to all

the ladies there. Adas is a charmer and loves to give all the ladies beautiful roses. I should know, I

already received two from him. Thank you Adas!

And finally, another regular to Tempura in the last picture we have Rahul (rahul11chau) who

I always notice standing at the landing circle. Hmm, I wonder why people always stay there?

Anyways, Rahul has some beautiful words written in his profile that I would like to end this post with.

Hello Beautiful World!

I sometimes tend to leave Kansas to then return with my tail between my legs like a little lost puppy.

This usually happens when I think the grass might be greener on the other side and so I run to it,

like a moth drawn to light. Sometimes it takes me a while to realize that the grass is fake, yes, shiny

and pretty, but not real. Then, I look back to my own grass and realize that "oops" my yard has the best grass

in the neighborhood. And I run back feeling very proud of my grass and I water it and watch it

grow, and grow, and grow, until very early one morning I am awakened by Steppenwolf's lawnmower

mowing my beautiful grass. Then I'm thinking, "Oh man, but it looked so pretty. >:("

But you know those neighborhood regulations where you have to keep the grass clean-cut as if it is

serving some military duty. If it was up to me I would let it grow and grow till it was as high as the

trees, then I could play there hide-n-seek with my Steppenwolf. Can you imagine how much fun that would be?

Now, I am aware that by now you all are wondering what am I talking about, "Is she ok?

She's not making any sense." I know this is just nonsense talk that at the moment I am thinking is damn

good writing, but trust me, in a day or two I'll be laughing too. So this is really for my own

amusement to save for a rainy day when I find myself in need of a good laugh. :P

Anyways, when I say that sometimes I think the grass might be greener on the other side I am not

referring to anything in particular. It is just a metaphor for Doherty's quote about Kansas.

In the film The Wizard of Oz, Kansas represents "home" for Doherty. Kansas also represents

our normal surroundings and what we are used to. When we find ourselves no longer in Kansas

it means we have stepped out into the unknown, usually into strange or/and uncomfortable situations.

Toto, I have a feeling we are at the ENCHANTMENT EVENT.

Indeed, today I wore my new beautiful Oz Doherty Full Outfit by irrISIStible

and embarked down the yellow brick road on an excitable journey full of color and wonder.

This quarterly shopping event has to be one of the most loved events in Second Life based on all that is

magical and fairy tales. This time, it opened with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Round (& Other Oz Tales),

based on the 1939, American musical film, starring Judy Garland.

Embark on a whimsical journey down the yellow brick road at our enchanting Wizard of Oz Shopping

Event and Hunt. Explore a bountiful emporium filled with treasures inspired by the Emerald City, from

I absolutely LOVE my new Doherty outfit by irriSIStible that you can get at the event

together with all the other characters from the film who come in complete outfits with everything you will need

from skins, hair, accessories, shoes, etc.

the sparkling red shoes.

Now the highlights of today's visit to the event.

First, when I ran into Lilia Levitsky dressed also as Doherty, it made me very happy to see that I wasn't

the only one at the event in a costume. She looked beautiful in her Doherty dress and I noticed she had

very beautiful, expressive eyes. She was very friendly and I was very happy that she accepted to be

photographed for the blog. Thank you Lilia! <3

After I had photographed Lilia, I came across a beautiful couple that I am sure many of you will

recognize. This is Kit (kit.boyd) and John Garrison (galenrovere), well-known Second Life

photographers and the sweetest and friendliest people you'll have the pleasure of running into.

I have known them both for years now from Flickr but I believe this is the first time I have actually

seen them inworld, so you can just imagine my joy. I couldn't stop smiling and I'll tell you a little

secret, I was also very nervous but very, very happy. <3
