It is no secret that Christmas is my least favorite holiday of the year. I know, I know,
I become the Grinch during this time, and it's been like this for some years now.
I avoid shopping and going out where I know there will be big crowds of people happily celebrating the season.
Christmas brings me so much sadness since my mother's passing, which turns into anger, and
so I try to avoid anything Christmas-related because a simple Christmas carol will make me burst into tears and bring forth deep depression. I have learn to survive this holiday by ignoring it and going
on through the month as if it's just another holiday-free month.
And just like in my real life, in my Second Life, I don't really care to decorate for the holiday.
That's been Steppenwolf's job for years now. He is the one who puts out a Christmas tree and other
decorations. However, this year, he was running late with the holiday decor...
I've been under the weather and not feeling well for some time now, so I haven't been blogging as I was
so excited to do at the beginning of the month. In the meantime, as you can see, I have been relaxing,
not worrying too much, and just enjoying my husband's company. That is the reason why I've been only posting our moments together for now. Hopefully, soon I'll be up and running around with the help of
my doctor, keeping my fingers crossed. ;)
Today, Steppenwolf surprised me with five horror films he got for us to watch. I know how much
my husband hates these types of movies but he is willing to sacrifice himself in the name of love,
that means the world to me. Thank you baby!
Tonight we made it a movie night and we watched The Conjuring.
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): me too :( Lori Novo: :((( Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): pulls the blanket over my head :( Lori Novo: pulls it off your head and pulls it over mine :( Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): haha
We sometimes have small, loving disagreements over the movies we watch.
Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): nonsense Steppenwolf (steppen.crescendo): RI didn't have witches lol
Lori Novo: omg my babyyy, it's just a movie, not a documentary! :P
