BOO!

Is that crickets I hear? Nothing left but dust and spiderwebs, (blows off dust from the keyboard

and screen monitor). Now, with the time I have been gone, I'll need more than just blowing to get

this place running again. But the cleaning will have to wait for now (looking for Steppenwolf's wallet),

It is the weekend and that means SHOPPING TIME!

But first I made a quick stop for a selfie. This is in my in-studio set that I put together using

Whistler Collection Festive. Sled Bench by KraftWork which is available for this weekend's Saturday Sale.

With Valentines Day just around the corner, today I decided to wear my red coat since is really

BRRRR, cold here in Texas, believe it or not, though we Texans seem to think that 41°F is deadly

weather. We are really not used to this low temperature. Heck, even in the 65's°F we are already

wearing extra socks and heavy jackets.

So to match my real-life weather in Second Life I searched for a wintery place to visit and that's 

how I came upon Seasons Change at Peaceful Dreams (Moderate). Truly a beautiful sim much worth visiting.

As soon as I arrived at this beautiful place, the song Love Is In The Air came to mind, and that's how

this turned out to be an inspired love blog post. The sim is mostly green and white, but they so perfectly

added everything else in red and pink tones giving a sense of a warm feeling even in the cold-snowy day.

So with all this love in the air, all I can say is that...

My Steppenwolf hates, HATES, hates Valentine's Day. Don't ask me why, it is a long story,

but the man hates this day with a passion. Still, since he met me he makes an effort to make the day special for me which I appreciate very much. Let's say he gets an "A" for the effort.

But my Steppenwolf is not alone on this one. Valentine's Day is probably the least favorite and most

hated holiday by many people. I divided into three groups all Valentine's Day haters and I think I know

why they feel the way they feel for this special day.

Group one is the single people of course for obvious reasons.

The second group would be the ones that had a very bad/sad experience on this day in the past 

and they are scarred for life. And the final group are the ones that do have a significant other, 

therefore, for the men mostly it is an expensive day with the flowers, candy, balloons, romantic dinner,

and the expensive piece of jewelry they have to get :P And for the women, hating the piece of jewelry

because the stone wasn't big enough or getting chocolate when in fact they are on a diet, or worse, suffer Diabetes.

R.I.P. Diego Verdaguer (26 April 1951 – 27 January 2022)

On January 27, Argentine singer-songwriter, Diego Verdaguer 

passed away due to Covid complications at the age of 70.

Diego was married to Argentine singer Amanda Miguel whom he met when she was

seventeen years old, five years her senior. 

They were married for 46 years. My heart goes to Amanda and their three children,

Ana Victoria, Maria Gimena, and Ximena. (Facebook)

Hello Beautiful World!

It's been a while since I've been here and I missed you all so much.

I find myself battling a harsh war of confusion in my head. Yes, I, myself tend to make my life

so complicated. How can so much turmoil fit in my head? I wonder many times.

I am my greatest judge and I judge myself with a very harsh hand,

and when it comes to the execution, I show no mercy.

I have restrained from blogging these past days or weeks, not really sure how long it's been.

Lost all notion of the time anyways.

I realized that lately, actually it's been a while, a while too long, I am overcome by a feeling of

anxiety every time I am about to take pictures for any of my sponsors. I really don't know the

reason for this and it makes me sad. Is it possible that finally, I have come to the end of my blogging

journey? No Way! I still have all these ideas and plans and they fill me with so much anticipating excitement.

Maybe it is time to let go of some things...

We'll see what the future holds.

Hello Beautiful World!

I just enjoyed my first cup of coffee of the day and I am now feeling warmer in this cold weather.

I find coffee a very comfy drink for any situation. It gives comfort and a warm feeling just like

a soft and fluffy blanket does. I was also finally able to eat something since those son-of-a-biscuits

cleaned my bank account the other day. I had lost my appetite since then but today I woke up feeling

 a bit hungry and had a delicious egg and bacon taquito from Whataburger, yummy yummy in the tummy ;)

Now I am looking forward to what I'll be having for lunch, hey, I need to catch up on my

meals. I know my Steppenwolf will be glad to hear this. He is always worrying and checking on me

to make sure that I am eating.

So as you all know my American friends, we had truly an insane day yesterday at our US Capitol

building when all hell broke loose. The thing is that when everything was happening, I was fast

asleep, and by the time I woke up it was already old news. To be honest with you, I feel so ashamed

right now, I bet the rest of the world is thinking "Those crazy Americans!"

Hello Beautiful World!

Can you feel it? I bet you can,

and I am not talking about the cold weather that we are having.

I am referring to the new year. Second day in and already is starting to feel like it's going

to be a good one. Now, I prefer to keep a positive mind and high hopes rather than to start

this new year in a negative way.

To begin with, I am enormously thankful to have made it into this new year. While there's life, 

there are daily possibilities to work on our dreams to make them happen. Each day, a new

chance to decide how we are going to live it. We can choose either to live each new day with love 

and as much joy to spread around in the world and in return, this will bring us so much happiness,

or, we can choose to be grouch party-poopers and rain on everybody else's day. Now choosing

the second option is not recommendable since negativity leaves no room for all the beautiful things

in life, right? ;)

Happy New Year my beautiful people and hello beautiful world!

And so I begin the new year with a sad song. It is not that I am sad, 

I am actually very excited and hope that this, 

will be a healing year for all of us. <3 

Now my song choice is simply because I find beauty in sadness for some strange reason, 

I really can't explain it. Even in the happiest of my days 

you will find me listening to sad music or watching a very sad movie.

Any new year's resolutions?

None for me thank you!

Why bother really if in a few months I'll be breaking every new year resolution I made.

I'll simply take it day by day in making one thing about my life better, even if it is the

smallest of things, for example, cleaning my socks drawer.

This way, I don't feel the pressure of having (must) work on any strict resolutions,

I don't work well under pressure anyway.

I live life easy sailing if you know what I mean.

 I don't make plans that I can't stick to or promises that I can't keep.

Now, a task a day (big or small) will surely make my life better.
