Hello Beautiful World!

This morning, I had a sweet awakening when my Pollito (my cat) jumped on my bed while I was

still asleep and having sweet dreams. I opened my eyes and there he was, in all his furry splendor

looking at me while he knitted the blanket at my feet. I smiled a BIG smile and I shouted,

"GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIFUL POLLITO!". He just purred and continued to knit

the blanket. My son came running soon after to see what was happening and carry Pollito out of my

room to let me continue sleeping. But heck, who are we kidding, that was one of the sweetest ways to

wake up and through the window's curtains, I could see it was going to be a beautiful day.

I jumped out of bed and opened my curtains to welcome the new day into my home.

Things like this fill me with joy, you have no idea.

May your day be as beautiful as mine.

Have you ever felt hopelessly wanting a man/woman that you can't have for whatever reasons?

I have. We want what we want but sometimes we can't have what we want but it's all okay.

At first, I was very intrigued by Steppenwolf when I first met him. I found him very mysterious

and appealing, sometimes even unreachable even though he was always very charming with me.

very much every time we got to talk. His nearness made me nervously uneasy but in a

good way. I begin to feel tummy butterflies even though I didn't want to accept it.

Later on, I begin to wonder how his kisses tasted and how it would feel to be in one of his hugs.

That is when I felt I begin to want him. But I hushed the feeling, it made me feel scared and

ashamed. But Steppenwolf was so extraordinary in everything he did and the way he would treat

me, even as friends. He respected me and never crossed the lines. And soon, I was needing him.

I needed his daily hellos, his smiles, and the minutes I would get to talk to him about music, books, etc.

I needed him for so many other beautiful things to share with him.

Finally, the day came when I had him forever in my life.

Hello My Beautiful Ones!

You might not have noticed but I had to remove the blog post I did for one of Laurel's Nightmare

rooms. It was the one for the Exorcist. It affected me more than I thought it had to the point of

literally feeling sick. I spent the next day in bed not feeling well. Also, I may not finish the rest of the

rooms since there's still a bunch of them left, and most are about killers like Saw, Friday The Thirteen,

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc. NOPE, don't really care for those ones.

Anyway, there are very few days left for this month and I plan to spend them giving cover to

other sim designers and the beautiful costumes I received from Boudoir, irrISIStible,

and Purplemoon Creations.

Who Is This That I See?

Who is this that I see?

Is it my true reflection or simply who I wish I could be or not be?

My eyes lie and sometimes they go blind

and tell me the opposite of what I see.

Sometimes good, others bad

so I don't know anymore what to believe.

To lying eyes I say, stay away and don't play with my head.

Paint It Black

Why black and not white, orange, or even red? Now red is a pretty color,

yet... we go back to black and stay there. Is it because it evokes power, authority, and mystery,

not to forget elegance and sophistication. I don't know about you but coming across to the world as a

mysterious woman is very appealing to me. Love keeping those minds wondering and guessing.

Even when their guess about me is way off, it is entertaining, doesn't bother me a bit. ;)

But going back to black, this is the perfect color associated with the occult, evil, and together

with orange, for Halloween. It is funny though that even when this color is mostly associated with

the negative things in life, it is the color for nuns' and priests' attires. Well, at least that's what I

remember because in the last years I haven't been religious at all, my bad.

I wonder how can a single color stand on both sides, the positive and the negative?

While for some the color gives them a strong sense of power for others it can stimulate sadness, anger,

lack of hope, and misfortune. Now, that is powerful indeed!

Black is also viewed in different ways according to different cultures.

For example, in ancient Egypt black signified life and rebirth, same as in China where black is viewed

as power and immortality. On the other hand, in Western cultures, black represents mourning and passing.

Black is also a color that can be worn as a shield to hide our insecurities and feelings,

not to mention excess weight. It hides flaws giving a slimming illusion. It is the best-flattering color!

Now what about this beautiful color, would you say it is colorless since it is dark, like blank,

the same as how many people view white? Or is it that is the strongest color of all?

I think it is the most colorful color out there. ;) You may not often see me wearing black because

for me it has a negative effect. It brings my spirit down. Still, I'll wear it from time to time

if I have to.

There are so many things that are particularly black.

How many things can you name right away without thinking about it?

I can name...

beetles, black cats, black diamonds, black widows, caviar, coffee, night, pepper, ravens, crows

shadows, witches, eyes, hair, black holes, outer space, penguins, pandas.

Phew! [Out of Breath]

just like Patient8 (above pic) from What's Lost Spirits - We do Weird (Moderate), which was my

location for the first picture on top. In today's group, you will find all from Jake Vordun (First Pic),

SL designer and owner of Fancy Decor to half-naked males and almost fully naked ladies. :P

From friends to vampires and everything in between. But this great group though

they are all extremely different from each other, they have one thing in common, they all look

amazingly sexy in black. ;)
