With all the beautiful flowers there, it was the perfect photo location.

And speaking about beautiful flowers, it reminded me of a SLoopsie I had a very long time ago.

By the way, a SLOOPSIE blog post is about an oopsie either I or someone else made/had in Second

Life. This one is on me, about my very first year in Second Life...

It was the year 2011, my first year in Second Life. A time when I was very innocent, clueless, or

naive, whichever you prefer to call it. A year when I begin to learn lessons in Second Life the hard way.

So my story begins...

I had a very good friend at the time, his name was Geo, he was Italian and he had a beautiful sim

that he had named Little Italy. Now, Geo most of the time was a beautiful horse that people could

actually ride. One day he invited me to go for a ride in his beautiful sim, which I gladly accepted.

While I was riding Geo :P, I know what you're thinking :P 

Anyways, while I was riding the horse Geo, up-hill and down-hills, through the woods and on the

beach sand, I noticed that he often would stop and would begin to type something but he would

never send me anything. Finally, he stopped and said to me...

"I'm sorry dear but I need to tell you that  I can see your little flower."

I was like "Huh?" I was clueless as to what he was talking about.

Then he said, "Your beautiful pussy sweet Lori, I'm sorry but it shows when you ride me."

As soon as he said that I jumped off him faster than a shooting bullet and ran away in tears to hide.

I was so embarrassed with my friend. I didn't know what to do.

He kept IMing me, pleading with me to return, but I wouldn't answer, I had my head hidden

under a rock, but I am sure my pussy was still showing since I was bending down. :P

He kept assuring me that everything was ok and to go back so we could continue our ride

But I was just too embarrassed to even reply to him... for days.

Hello Beautiful World!

Some time ago I was at a store trying some makeup demos when a couple came in (SL).

As I was busy trying on different demos I couldn't help but eavesdrop on what the couple

was talking about since they were communicating on local chat in Spanish. Unaware that I knew

how to read Spanish the girl started to comment to her boyfriend about me.

She was saying how horrible I looked and how much she hated my height.

She went on and on while I moved quietly around the store.

Her boyfriend was not saying a word to what she was saying, he remained quiet at that time,

I too remained quiet just listening as she unloaded so much negativity my way based

simply on my Avi's look. 

After a while when I was done and had made a few purchases I walked up to the couple

and stood in front of the girl and in Spanish said these words to her...

"I'm sorry that my look disgusts you. But I like it. I really do!

Have a beautiful day!"

"Hahaha", her boyfriend started laughing.

He then apologized for his girlfriend's words and continued to say that I had a beautiful avatar.

After that, the girl proceeded to excuse herself by saying that she wasn't talking about me even

though I was the only other person in the store and I had understood every insult and name-calling

very well, but I didn't have any interest in arguing my case. I remained quiet and this is why 

I think she felt bad because she then apologized for the things she had said.

"Have a beautiful day! :)"

I said again and POOF! I was gone.

Second Life is the place where we are free and have the power, and the right to choose 

how we want to look. In the real world where we are constantly confronted with problems,

illnesses, rejections, judgment, and so on, why can't we just let freely be and look however

we choose to be here? We don't have to like other people's choices, however, there is no need

to insult other people simply because we do not agree with the choices they have made.

In my blog section Paparazzi, I try to feature all the different look choices that people make.

Some looks I wish to duplicate while others, honestly, I wish I was brave enough to duplicate

since they are out of my comfort zone. However, their extreme differences in style are what makes

them all so wonderfully interesting-beautiful.

But in the end, what matters and makes any Avi a beautiful one is not how we look

but how we treat others. Remember, if it doesn't directly hurt us or our Second Life experience

we have no right to judge. Come and be as you want to be. Just do whatever makes you

happy and let others be happy as well!

SLoopsies: The Itch

Don't tell me you have NEVER had an embarrassing moment happen to you in Second Life?

Come on, you can tell me, trust me, I won't tell anyone :p

I myself had so many that I already lost count. I don't mind sharing them with you, 

though. You all already know what a goofball I am. You can laugh if you want, I don't 

mind. I laugh at myself all the time. Of course, I have to admit it, though, 

at the moment they happen, I just want to die. Sometimes I'll just lose it during 

the moment and I will get a laugh attack. What else can I do, I am so clueless that 

I never finish amusing myself.

This will be the first SLoopsie from my long list of embarrassing moments 

that I will be sharing with you.

At the beginning of my friendship with Grubby, he was the only person 

I would run to every time I had a problem. One day I decided to visit a store where 

all the items were either free or L$1. After I had obtained a few items, I was eager to

 try them on. I went down the list one by one trying each thing and wearing 

every single item included in each folder.

Suddenly I had to step away from my computer for a few minutes and on my return, 

I noticed my Avi was scratching herself... "down there". 

I know I know, so un-ladylike. Terrified I tried everything to make her stop doing 

that. However, I couldn't figure out what was causing it.

Suddenly I noticed Grubby logging in and immediately I IMed him. 

I told him my Avi kept "like" scratching and I couldn't make it stop. 

He asked me where was I scratching, and I told him I was too embarrassed to say. 

Suddenly he sent me a teleport to his location. I kept telling him that I didn't want him to

see me like that but he insisted. He said he had to see what I was doing in order to 

be able to help me.

So after a while, I got the courage to show him and I went to him. 

There I am standing in front of  Grubby and scratching constantly. 

He stood there looking at me without saying a word. I felt like I wanted to crawl 

under a rock and die. I could just imagine him laughing at me on the other side of his screen. :(  

After a long silence, he finally said we would figure out what was causing my problem.

He guided me through several steps trying to figure out the problem but nothing 

seemed to work. He then told me to remove my AO to see if that was what caused 

me to keep scratching and gave me a new one, but still, the scratching continued.

After trying over and over again everything he can possibly think of, 

he asked me to check under "My Appearance" to see what I was wearing. 

I carefully went down the list and suddenly there it was, like a slap to the face 

looking back at me and sticking its tongue out... Itching Crotch!!!

Grubby was waiting for me to say what I had found in my "Wearing" list. 

Feeling extremely embarrassed, I kept trying to figure out how to tell him what I had

discovered without seeming so dumb. Finally, after trying unsuccessfully to avoid 

having to say it, I finally came out and just said... " I don't know how but I am wearing 

an animation called "Itching Crotch :( ".

 He laughed, but just a little, and then proceeded to assure me that the embarrassing

situation hadn't been THAT bad..... yeah right :P

As you can imagine, now I double and even triple-check every single item that I am gonna wear.

Since that day I haven't been able to look grubby in the eyes. :(
