Happy New Year!

Good morning beautiful world and a happy new year to everyone!

I am ready, eager, and excited to continue my beautiful Second Life journey and share it with you.

I am not making any promises for now but one thing that I am sure of is that I missed blogging

for you my beautiful people. I missed venturing out and exploring with Sunny beautiful locations.

How about featuring all those wonderful people I am honored to meet when I go out?

Or sharing with you my moments with my Steppenwolf? I missed it all!

As you all know, while I stayed away for a while from my blog I started a backdrop textures

business to keep me busy. The idea was originally intended to be something small in the

Marketplace, just for fun you know, but now I find myself with an in-world shop, which I just opened

today, and a group of wonderful bloggers that I feel very honored to have.

So to celebrate the new year and the grand opening of my in-world shop 

I have prepared a few things for you. ;)

First, I put together a small hunt with 10 beautiful backdrop textures to collect for free.

You are looking for the beautiful butterfly below, which I chose to honor my mother's

memory. My mother loved butterflies and her favorite color was purple, which is something

that she told me in a dream after she had passed away.

The hunt will run from January 1st to January 15th.

After that, all the packs will be sold at the regular price like all the others. You can find the hints to their

locations here. But then again, they are not that hard to find and you can also cheat... let me tell you

how. First you... never mind, where's the fun in that! :P

Next, I have placed 3 Lucky Letter Boards with the letters changing every 15 minutes.

And finally, I placed 2 new free gifts on the counter together with the Christmas one which

everyone loved, YAY!

2025 will be a great year, I just know it. I really love my life.

Hello Beautiful World!

First, my prayers for peace on earth.

Hello everyone! It's so good to be back and ready to continue our beautiful journey together.

Our journey is not only in Second Life but hopefully my words and my writings can go

beyond our virtual world and can reach your hearts in the real world, where it really matters to me.

My goal to help and put a smile on at least one person a day continues. There is no greater joy

in life than to live a life where we walk side by side in kindness and caring for other people,

taking care of each other, and bringing some joy to others instead of just thinking about ourselves.

Now, as for my plans in Second Life for the blog for this month may include doing a few

of the many Halloween hunts that are going on. As for exploring haunted Halloween places, this

year I am not as excited as I have always been in other years. Still, I'll try to cover a few locations for

you all before the month is over. I'll be also blogging other things in hopes that I can come up

with interesting and exciting things for you to enjoy.

Hello Beautiful World!

And here I am once again on this beautiful day. Earlier today I got a chance to spend time with my good

friend Martian, I wonder, is he becoming my new male best friend? Only time we tell.

One thing is for sure and that is that he truly represents how a real gentleman should treat women.

Not only that, he has a heart of gold, kind, caring, and transparent like pure crystal water.

There is no mystery and secrecy when it comes to me and the friendship we share.

Because let me tell you, for some reason some of my male friends had felt the need to keep their

friendships with me a secret as if we are doing something wrong. It is so sad since I try to be

as honest and transparent as I can and yet, I am expected to hush and hide as if I am guilty of

something. Friendship is a beautiful and normal gift, why should one be shamed for it?

Once a friendship begins to get complicated, with a male or female friend, I refuse to continue it.

But going back to my good friend Martian, he and I had a long conversation about my blog

and what is really the purpose of it. Previously, he had said he was going to start reading my whole

blog, and I do believe he will. :) I'll now share part of that conversation with you...

While I have many different categories in this blog that cover just about everything

and anything you can find in Second Life, it has been lacking one thing that is very close to my heart

and that is the representation of innocence in an avatar, the infant, the toddler, the child.

Hello Beautiful World!

I don't know how many times I started this blog post to immediately erase what I had

just written. Why is it so hard to write about not-so-happy things... about endings?

But there are times when all things must come to an end, even after giving us so much joy.

I won't lie, I had so many happy years in this relationship, I felt very loved and extremely happy

most of the time. However, it's been a good while since I have felt that way again. 

I have reached a point where I can no longer pretend that everything is ok

and that I am happy. 

I AM NOT!

I am talking about my relationship with Flickr.

It no longer gives me the satisfaction and joy that I used to feel before. On the contrary, it causes me

so much anxiety every time I open it. Flickr and I can no longer continue together. At least for now.

So today, I am walking away, as a Flickr divorcee.

I may once in a while visit to say hello and maybe share a photo or two, but that will be

very rare. Maybe in a week, a month, or a year, I'll begin to feel differently. But for now, I need

the time and the space to forget and to heal. :P

Now, my blog is my greatest and only love, besides my Steppenwolf, where I have been living my

happiest moments. Where I truly and 100% feel at home, where I feel I really belong and 

where I feel 100% accepted.

So goodbye Flick and farewell!

Thank you for all the wonderful years when I felt so happy being part of you.

Maybe someday our paths will cross again and the flame of our love will reignite.

But for now... today, I am saying goodbye.

Now moving on to why we are really here and that is to give way to a new blog category,

TRENDSETTERS OF SECOND LIFE

This is where I'll be featuring people wearing the most creative and artistic fashion styles in

Second Life, leaving us in awe with their fashion statement as they walk by.

Only the crème de la crème in fashion will get to catwalk through this new blog section.

And since it is their fashion style and great fashion skills that captured my eye,

I'll be including a list of the items (or most of the items) they were wearing at the time I photographed them.

This is not to copy them but to inspire you to be creative by reinventing their look with your own

ideas and making it your own

Please meet beautiful Lana Boo, one of the most beautiful women I've seen in Second Life,

and the one that inspired me to begin a new section in my blog where I will be featuring the most

beautiful women I come across during my Second Life outings which will be called

THE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN OF SECOND LIFE. She can very well also fit into

my popular section of The Beautiful People in the blog where I like to feature both, males and

females for their kindness and friendliness, Lana is no exception to these beautiful characteristics.

Hello Beautiful World!

Today while going through some old blog posts I came upon one from the year 2015

THE DIVINE

which at the time, I loved the picture I had taken to feature the beautiful Madone Veil that I

am wearing. It was a 1L cheapie that I found in the Marketplace and thankfully it is still there

just in case you want to get it for yourself. (Here)

This is the picture that I had taken back then and to be honest with you, I still love it. ;)

However, it got me thinking, why don't I try recreating a new version of it just for fun?

And indeed, I had so much fun doing so. Now, I love both versions equally.

I think I'll be doing recreations of old pictures every once in a while just for fun and you

can always find these recreations under "Picture Recreations" on the labels section (Right Side).

So it is official, this blog has just turned into my Second Life dairy,

and the previous chat was one of the greetings I got as soon as I set foot at Tempura Island earlier tonight.

Are you serious?

Where did this guy get that for some reason I was interested in his company

when I said thank you to him?

Other than that,  my visit tonight to Tempura was as always pretty amazing.

Got to meet and chat with a few new people and take some pictures.

I also ran into my good friend Slipstream and we had a deep conversation about real life.

I still remember very well the day I met Slipstream, it felt like I was seeing an old friend again.

Our friendship just rocketed instantly within the first minutes we met.
