Hello Beautiful World!, and welcome once again to my little blog.

You have no idea how thankful I am to you for taking time from your wonderful and busy

days to come and pay me a visit. It is "time" that I appreciate the most in life, over anything else,

because "time" is priceless, and it is one of the best gifts one human can give to another,

especially to our loved ones.

In a world that is suffering from so much racism, prejudice, judgment, and violence, standing by/with

someone in need is the kindest thing we can do. No need for words, just hold the hand and listen, even

when words are not spoken, because sometimes hearts are better understood in silence.

To be in the company of another human when we are feeling lonely really helps. It doesn't matter

if it is a total stranger. Every human carries a light inside that adds to the world. Being in the presence

of another person can help alleviate the darkness of sadness and loneliness when both light, theirs and

ours, are combined. During my loneliness periods, I seek the company of others in places where I know

a crowd of people will be there, but really, it doesn't matter what place we go to if we know we will run

into other people. Where two or more gather, trust me, there is no place for complete loneliness.

And with that said, and as I was writing, an idea was born in my head for a new section in the blog.

I am not sure if it will work or not, but I'll give it a try. I'll be calling it Stand By Me, and that is

all I'll say for now. I am so excited! ♥

But before I leave, I ask you to please keep my Pollito (my RL pet cat) in your prayers.

He's been sick for a few days now, and his veterinarian appointment is not until Thursday.

I won't say much about his condition for now because I'll start crying. :(

Today, Sunny and I come to you from a very beautiful location, small and cozy, and very inviting.

This is a place where you can't get lost because of how small it is compared to other Autumn locations. 

But it is exactly that that gives it its charm. You will find many great locations to make beautiful

memories and take great pictures. It is there that I found a beautiful sign (First Picture) that

really made me smile.

What a beautiful reminder!

Indeed, the world is yours. There is a whole world waiting for all of us to enjoy and explore,

and watch the seasons march by, always bringing new hope and new beginnings.

No one can take that away from us, not a single tiny piece. Never walk away from who you are or what

is yours because of others. Stay firm and strong and protect and claim what is rightfully yours.

The beautiful sign that inspired me for this post was created by hive. You can also find it HERE, in the

MarketPlace for 200Lindens. Three versions included. I should say I often find something 

so beautiful in the sims that I explore to bring back home with me. Souvenirs that I add to our home

and will remind me of my visits to beautiful lands. This time was this sign; other times have been

animals, plants, home decorations, etc. It can really be anything.

The “The World Is Yours” quote originates from a scene in the American crime drama film Scarface (1983).

written by Al Pacino and Oliver Stone, and directed by Brian De Palma.

This scene actually gives me chills every time I watch it. It shows the very moment he realizes

that he has made it out, the definition of a dream, a war, finally reached and won. This movie is hands down one of

my favorite movies of all time. Absolutely legendary!

Al Pacino's Scarface film is a remake of the 1932 film, based on the 1930 novel by Armitage Trail,

and it tells the story of a Cuban refugee.

Yesterday, Sunny and I visited this beautiful Autumn location, which is my favorite

one so far this year. I have already visited others, and after taking a few pictures for an Exploring

Second Life post, I ended up deleting them. The main problem in some of the locations I have

visited is how much orange, yellow, and brown has been used to put them together. Don't get me

wrong, I love all the Fall hues, and that is one of the main reasons Autumn is my favorite season of the

year. However, not everything has to be completely Autumn colors. The air, just as we do, needs the

incorporation of other different shades, or the scenery looks like it's drowning in a pool of tangerine melt.

Now, that is just my personal opinion. ;)

This beautiful song will always sound great, no matter what style it is being played.

Today, American guitarist, singer, and songwriter Leslie West, who, back in 2023, was named 245th

greatest guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone, brings it to us in his own style, releasing his rock

version of Dear Prudence back in 1975. Leslie Abel West, who passed away back on December 23, 2020

was known for playing blues rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. Characterized by his heavy riffs and

expressive, fuzzed-out tones, he influenced modern blues and the stoner rock genre.

And now going back to the beginning...

Sweet seventeen, my favorite age, one of the best years of my life.

I wasn't the most beautiful or wearing the latest fashion. My hair wasn't perfectly styled, or

wearing all the makeup most girls my age were wearing. I was more like the girl with messy

long hair or tied up in a ponytail, wearing simple dresses or tees and jeans. My face was barely

embellished by a little blush and a small touch of lip gloss, but the two things that I never left

the house without were my biggest smile and the confidence of a thousand girls.

I felt as special and as beautiful as the most beautiful girl next to me. Never more, never less,

always as equal to them. I could easily walk into any situation or place and felt very confident

and never shied away from interactions with other people, no matter who they were. I actually

hoped and initiated conversations. The confidence I felt and the big smile were always the only

keys I needed to open any door, and any heart. I was happy being myself, simple with no worries

if I was not enough or if I was better than others. Appearances and materialistic possessions

never really interested me. What I had to offer and what I looked for in other people was

something more profound, something that could not be seen with the eyes but felt with the heart.

Still wearing the same clothes from this morning, but what can I say, I love the outfit!

Thought I would wear it for the whole weekend before hanging it in my wardrobe and never seeing

it again. You know how it is, most clothes in Second Life we only get to wear them once,

then they get lost in our inventories forever. Now, I try to buy smart, you know, separate pieces

that I can mix and match with other pieces to create new-different looks.

I often check the Marketplace for those great promotions that offer us complete outfits for

a very low price, which may include everything from hair accessories, jewelry, belts, scarves, 

bags, and footwear. While sometimes I may not really like the outfit, the pieces that come with it

are great pieces to add to other of your more valuable pieces and make your outfit look like

a million dollars. La'La is my favorite brand that I make sure to check out often in the Marketplace.

I always find something great to add to my wardrobe from the complete outfits offered,

usually ranging from 75Lindens to 99Lindens during their promotions.

Just make sure to always try a demo first if one is available.

Now, with the weekend already here and all those great weekend specials waiting for us, the one

thing that I always look for, before clothes, jewelry, or makeup, is hair! Hair is my Second Life

weakness after my Steppenwolf, of course. I am so thankful for all the great hair designers

who, week after week, offer us beautiful hairstyles for a very low price. Makes me want to squeeze

them til they turn purple; that is how grateful I feel. ;) But, what's up with DOUX? Are they ever going 

to spoil us with great weekend sales like all the other hair designers? Hmmm? :P

The one thing you will never ever see me buying, even if it's being offered for one single Linden,

is a shape. I have only purchased one shape in the past, motivated by how great the ad was,

"The Power Of An Attractive Ad".

And of course, I never wore that beautiful shape. My avatar has only worn three shapes in all my

fifteen years in Second Life. The first shape my good friend Catero Revoltion had it specially

made for me when I joined Second Life. It was already waiting for me on day one. The two

other shapes were made by me, one for my static Catwa mesh head and this one now,

for my Lelutka head.

It's no other than Street Cat 2 by .:Bellart Studio:. that you can get for only 96 Lindens

during this weekend's sales. Bellart offers a large variety of wonderful companion/pets

at very affordable prices. This kitty is coming home with me! A good bath to get rid of all the fleas

and he can sleep tonight in our bed with us. Scoot over Steppenwolf, Mr. Beast, Anchovy,

and Sunny, make room for... Ah, we need a name!

Last night, after spending a beautiful time with my Steppenwolf, I felt like going out with Sunny

(my doggie) and exploring one of the many beautiful sims out there. It's been a good while since

I've been out of my studio exploring, and I really enjoyed it very much. I had forgotten how peaceful

and fun it was, shame on me!

My search for a good place to explore took me to beautiful Lake Bled in Slovenia, and I found myself

surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountain peaks and thick forests, where the fresh smell of

nature was hard to ignore. Now, I always like to learn things about the beautiful places that I get to

explore in Second Life, where their creations were inspired by real-life places, for example,

Hotel Del Salto.

On this occasion, during my search to learn real facts about Lake Bled, I discovered that this beautiful

land is full of myths and legends, like that of the dancing fairies and my favorite, the sunken bell... 

The Legend of the Sunken Bell -SOURCE

 "This folk tale tells of a young widow who lived in Bled Castle. After her husband was killed by bandits

and his body thrown in the lake, the young woman was inconsolable. Overcome by grief, she collected

all of the gold and silver that she and her husband had and ordered that it be melted down and cast into

a bell to commemorate her fallen beloved. She intended that the bell be installed in the chapel on Bled

Island where she prayed daily after her husband’s death.

 However, the bell never arrived at its destination. During its transportation to the island, a storm hit,

and a powerful swell overtook the boat, sinking it and its precious cargo to the bottom of the lake.

Defeated, the widow sold her remaining belongings and offered the proceeds for the construction of a

new church on the island. She left Bled for Rome where she joined a monastery and lived out

the rest of her days as a nun.

 After she passed, the Pope heard of her story and was touched by both her misfortune and her good

deeds as a nun. He decided to have a new bell made in her honor and placed in the steeple of the church

on Bled Island. It is believed that anyone who rings this blessed bell three times will have their wish

granted – a promise which tempts visitors to the island again and again.

 Those who visit Lake Bled on Christmas Day are privy to a special treat, as every year on December

25th, the Legend of the Sunken Bell is celebrated in a spectacular light show. Spectators gather around

the lake to watch divers recover a bell in a stunning visual performance blending fire and sound,

bringing the legend to life. Of course, the bell the divers recover is one made of lights, designed purely

for the show. As for the real bell, cast by the young widow sitting at the bottom of the lake, it is said that

if you listen closely in the silence of the night, you can still hear it ringing from its watery resting place."  -SOURCE

"Lake Bled was created by fairies.

The most well-known folk tale about the origin of Lake Bled tells that the lake was created by fairies.

According to the story, the area of the lake used to be a valley full of luscious grass. The local shepherds

liked to bring their sheep to the valley during the day, and fairies loved to use the soft grass as their

dance floor at night. Afraid that the sheep would eat all of their grass, the fairies asked the shepherds to

build a fence around their dance floor. The shepherds refused to help the fairies, and soon the sheep ate

all the grass and left nothing but bare earth behind. Seeking revenge, the fairies flooded the valley and

created a lake with a small island in the middle, where they could continue to dance at night." -SOURCE

Is that crickets I hear? Nothing left but dust and spiderwebs, (blows off dust from the keyboard

and screen monitor). Now, with the time I have been gone, I'll need more than just blowing to get

this place running again. But the cleaning will have to wait for now (looking for Steppenwolf's wallet),
