Still wearing the same clothes from this morning, but what can I say, I love the outfit!

Thought I would wear it for the whole weekend before hanging it in my wardrobe and never seeing

it again. You know how it is, most clothes in Second Life we only get to wear them once,

then they get lost in our inventories forever. Now, I try to buy smart, you know, separate pieces

that I can mix and match with other pieces to create new-different looks.

I often check the Marketplace for those great promotions that offer us complete outfits for

a very low price, which may include everything from hair accessories, jewelry, belts, scarves, 

bags, and footwear. While sometimes I may not really like the outfit, the pieces that come with it

are great pieces to add to other of your more valuable pieces and make your outfit look like

a million dollars. La'La is my favorite brand that I make sure to check out often in the Marketplace.

I always find something great to add to my wardrobe from the complete outfits offered,

usually ranging from 75Lindens to 99Lindens during their promotions.

Just make sure to always try a demo first if one is available.

Now, with the weekend already here and all those great weekend specials waiting for us, the one

thing that I always look for, before clothes, jewelry, or makeup, is hair! Hair is my Second Life

weakness after my Steppenwolf, of course. I am so thankful for all the great hair designers

who, week after week, offer us beautiful hairstyles for a very low price. Makes me want to squeeze

them til they turn purple; that is how grateful I feel. ;) But, what's up with DOUX? Are they ever going 

to spoil us with great weekend sales like all the other hair designers? Hmmm? :P

The one thing you will never ever see me buying, even if it's being offered for one single Linden,

is a shape. I have only purchased one shape in the past, motivated by how great the ad was,

"The Power Of An Attractive Ad".

And of course, I never wore that beautiful shape. My avatar has only worn three shapes in all my

fifteen years in Second Life. The first shape my good friend Catero Revoltion had it specially

made for me when I joined Second Life. It was already waiting for me on day one. The two

other shapes were made by me, one for my static Catwa mesh head and this one now,

for my Lelutka head.

But who's this cutie sitting next to me that kind of reminds me of my Pollito [RL kitty]?

It's no other than Street Cat 2 by .:Bellart Studio:. that you can get for only 96 Lindens

during this weekend's sales. Bellart offers a large variety of wonderful companion/pets

at very affordable prices. This kitty is coming home with me! A good bath to get rid of all the fleas

and he can sleep tonight in our bed with us. Scoot over Steppenwolf, Mr. Beast, Anchovy,

and Sunny, make room for... Ah, we need a name!

Is that crickets I hear? Nothing left but dust and spiderwebs, (blows off dust from the keyboard

and screen monitor). Now, with the time I have been gone, I'll need more than just blowing to get

this place running again. But the cleaning will have to wait for now (looking for Steppenwolf's wallet),

It is the weekend and that means SHOPPING TIME!

But first I made a quick stop for a selfie. This is in my in-studio set that I put together using

Whistler Collection Festive. Sled Bench by KraftWork which is available for this weekend's Saturday Sale.

There are 2 sets available, PG & ADULT versions for 100L each including about 10 pieces each.

Now, for this weekend Truth Hair spoils us with a long, beautiful side ponytail, TRUTH Collective / Mistral,

available in 6 Shade Huds for 100L each, Essentials Hud for 300L, and 650L for the Fatpack. Ponytail

comes in 4 styles via Hud.

And the third and final item featured from The Saturday Sale is my beautiful  Vaani Sweater by ELIKATIRA.

At least he is not offering me Lindens for sex like the last guy who contacted me with a... um, proposition.

This guy actually felt harmless and somehow, like a nice guy just with very different interests from mine.

After I told him his notecard was too long for me to read, I didn't say anything else.

I didn't answer to his pleas to be my slave which went on for almost an hour. Now, I didn't mute

or block him to be honest with you because as I said before, he was harmless and I never felt disrespected at all.

Plus what girl doesn't want to feel like a highness at some point in her life, right? :P

After I got home tired from all the walking, my feet were killing me and I thought about how much

I wish I had someone to take off my heels, massage my feet, and bring me a big glass of cold,

fresh lemonade, and suddenly, the lost slave that I had just met came to mind. :P

"SUNNY, LEAVE THAT POOR STATUE ALONE!"

Sorry about that. As I was saying...

So I decided to read his long notecard and found some pretty tempting points that would actually

benefit both, Steppenwolf and me. For example;

●It will do all your chores, keep your house clean, make sure your boots are shining even if you're

walking on a puddle, licking its bottom after every step you take, crawling behind you.

●This loser is here to travel with you when you shop and it shall carry all your bags for you so you

never have to worry, and it will save whatever it can to get you some of them whenever it can

afford your Highness. And it shall thank you for allowing it to.

●It shall live as an object of amusement for you and your friends and it will do anything you say like

running around or doing funny things to make you laugh, and live as your clown not just to you

but to everyone you're with your Highness.

OMG, you see what I am talking about?

Tempting, tempting. Not only will Steppenwolf and I be saving Lindens on house cleaning services,

but my slave will pay me to let him do it. And I'll never be alone when shopping plus I'll have someone

to tell me jokes and keep me laughing 24/7. :P Now if that doesn't convince Steppenwolf to let me have

this slave, maybe the following will;

●You can take all your anger and frustration out on it and it will be grateful for that too, even if it has

nothing to do with what made you unhappy. It is absolutely at your mercy your Highness.

See! Sweet sailing for everyone. Steppenwolf will never have to sit listening for hours to my

yappity yap and demented outbursts because there will be someone else that every single word that

comes out from my mouth will sound like heavenly lyrics to him...

Slave: OMG, that was sooo beautiful!

Now for the slave, it would be ideal to serve me as he said it himself...

●This loser solely exists for one purpose and that is to be serving you, obeying every one of your

commands, and worshiping you. Without it, its miserable life has no meaning your Highness.

And for me, I'll have a clean house for free, yard made, all my pets feed, take Sunny for walks, tickle

Mr. Beast, get massages, invite friends over for comedy hour starting Slave, eat homemade meals,

and much, much more while I get paid from Slave. What more could I ask for? Really?

OMG, I almost sound convinced to accept. LOL just kidding my beautifuls.

"STEPPENWOLF BABYYY, don't get mad, it was just a joke, come back!!! :P

But all jokes aside, while I don't share the same life choices with others I still respect the

way they chose to live their Second Life. We are all here to either express our creativity, role-play

our fantasies, make friends, find love, or simply get away from our real-life problems. Second Life

is an open platform for all to live it as we like, of course, without hurting others. I found Slave's

proportion somehow flattering even though that is not for me. I could never see myself demeaning another person or treating another human as an object, even when they wish for that. Just thinking about something sh*tty to say to Slave makes me feel very uncomfortable. By the way, "Slave" is not his name, I changed it to protect his identity.

I just wonder... to how many other women did he make the same offer to and if anyone accepted?

Slave seems like a good guy so I am wishing him good luck and hope he finds what he's looking for.

Is there such a thing as unnecessary shopping?

Hello Beautiful Second Life!

Hope you all had a beautiful Saturday, now tell me, can you recognize my location in the pictures?

Don't worry, I'll be giving you the answer at the end of this post.

Yesterday as I stood in front of the store display, I faced the hard decision of which color/colors

to buy since I loved all fifteen of them. I had made the promise that I would no longer

go overboard buying fatpacks on some of the items I liked the most.

I found myself debating between red, which is Steppenwolf's favorite color on me, and black,

which not too long ago was a color I didn't like wearing at all but now I am starting to like a lot.

 I now stand corrected and bite my tongue, OUCH!

Anyway, as I stood there trying to make a decision between black and red suddenly and very slowly my left

eye caught a glimpse of the yellow one that also looked very pretty, and right next to it, holding hands

were peach and light blue, which are two of my top favorite colors. "Dang it, you guys are not helping

at all. Turn around and stop showing me how beautiful you all are!"

Now the blouse on display was might pretty that getting it in just only one or two colors

felt so unfair and almost painful. So I stood there for about twenty minutes, seriously, not kidding,

trying to make a decision, and since I couldn't limit my choices to just two, I ended up getting the

beautiful blouse in five different colors. Will I ever get to wear them all? Probably not! 

But they sure make my wardrobe look like a very happy colorful rainbow. ;)

Yes, I do tend to buy fatpacks on many of the items I liked the most during weekend sales.

I usually end up with at least five every weekend. However, this weekend I stopped myself

from making such purchases and was able to reduce the number of fatpacks I bought.

Can you guess how many I got? Answer at the end of the post. :P

Another one of my bad shopping habits is buying items that look very similar to each other,

for example, hair. Hair is the number one item in my wardrobe, so I have styles from different

designers that look very similar to each other and the only difference between them may be

a tiny wisp of hair here and there.

Now how about those items we buy just because they are being offered to us

at very low irresistible prices by our favorite designers but that we really don't like? For me, 

one of them has to be Truth Hair. I have to say though, Truth was, is, and will always be my 

favorite hair designer. And with that said, I will add that I do love most of his beautiful hair creations,

a strong 95%. However, there have been very few times when I did not like the hair being offered

during the weekend sales but since it was a Truth's creation, I still went ahead and bought it

knowing very well that I wouldn't be wearing it.

Now, if I were to sit down and plan a better way to shop, I would be saving a lot of Lindens

and would not be hoarding so much unnecessary stuff in my inventory that keeps screaming for help.

So the answer to the previous question, "Is there such a thing as unnecessary shopping?", the answer is 

yes. It is not necessary to buy every single item we like or items we do not like simply because they

are being offered at low prices or by our favorite designers. I did take my buying "at least five fatpacks"

down to only three this week which makes me feel very proud of myself.

I understand that shopping is one of the favorite things to do in Second Life for most of us, especially

during the weekends when we are dying with anticipation in finding those WOW items from our

favorite designers. The thing is to set limits on how much we are willing to spend per store, event,

or better yet, for the whole weekend. Also, not everything that catches our eye is guaranteed to be enjoyable

after we purchase it. If you only knew the many times I bought an item that I thought was a WOW to later say

"OMG, what was I thinking!".

Now, I think it very carefully and rethink it again before I purchase something.

Is it something that I can use and reuse again and in different ways and combine with other things?

Is it something that I can excitedly and with an "I can't wait to wear it and wear it again!" say?

Is it something that is not a "Just in case I ever need it"?

And finally, now I do rate everything I buy from 1 to 10. If is less than an eight, it is not for me.

However, I have shown some mercy to a few poor sevens that got to make it in. Omg, I am such an angel! :P

So bottom line, it is best to have a smaller inventory in Second Life but filled only with items

that can score a perfect ten, with a few nines and top eights, than to have a packed inventory with

ones, twos, threes... well, you get it. Now, let's see if I can live by what I preach. :P

My Weekend With Truth

Hello Beautiful Second Life and Happy Saturday!

I am so excited to see what great specials our great designers have prepared for us for this

weekend. One that I look forward to is TRUTH who never seems to fail to spoil us every weekend

with his beautiful hair creations at a price that is so hard to resist, only 100L per pack. I bet he is

one of the top designers that everyone goes crazy about during the weekend sales.

As far as I can remember he has always been very kind and generous to all of his customers.

Not only that, he gives us the chance to earn store credit with every purchase that we make, including

on-sale items. Here I am wearing one of the two hairs Truth has on sale for this weekend

to prepare every weekend for the best and easiest shopping experience.

Now getting down to business. Do you remember the part in my Shopper's Guide article where it said,

"I usually put on shorts and a simple-short top, preferably sleeveless.

I find that wearing a two-piece outfit works best for me.

This facilitates things when I need to try either a top OR a bottom

without ending up completely naked in the middle of a store."

Well, I still believe that is a very good tip, but then it got me thinking...

Shouldn't I dress better and look my best when I go out shopping every weekend since that is

the time when most people are out taking advantage of all the great sales and I'll be seeing a lot 

more people than usual? Not only that but the possibility of running into friends and haters while

shopping on those weekend days is very high. Plus, it also feels great when we are noticed by

other people...

Now, I am like the following video when I walk into a store.
