Today was like one of those days when the water was standing still. No inspiration at all.

Not a clue what I could write about in this blog post. Maybe just the picture and a quote.

That was until I looked out my window and noticed a cute couple across the street in the park.

I liked the way the young man was holding the girl. Like protective and proud. As if letting the

world know, "She is my world, no one can hurt her." I smiled because that is the way my

Steppenwolf makes me feel when I am in his arms. I kept watching the couple as they talked while

looking into each other's eyes without letting go of the warmth of their embrace.

Suddenly, they started dancing!

It was beautiful to watch. It wasn't a simple dance, but a waltz, with graceful spins and dips, and

occasional kisses. They kept dancing while people walked by and children played. I am not sure if

they had some music playing or not, since I couldn't hear from where I was. But I am sure they didn't

care if they didn't. Really, who needs music when you can dance to the beats of two hearts in love? My

Steppenwolf and I do that often. So I know how she was feeling. She was feeling so loved, special, and

beautiful. I wanted to keep watching them in their beautiful moment, but really, I needed to respect the

beautiful moment that they were having. Still, their love in that moment gifted me a smile

that has lasted the whole day.

Welcome to another GREAT PROFILES blog post, which is well overdue. By this, I don't just mean how long

it has been since I last wrote in this category, but also that I had saved all the information and pictures

for this particular one since last month. Now, the long wait is well worth it since this particular profile is

really a very good one. We all love a good profile for sure, especially if it is completely packed with

funny, inspiring, and/or informative stuff. I remember many years ago when I read a profile that made me

laugh so much, even to this day. The profile belonged to a lady who was in the company of her partner.

In her Second Life section, she talked about her connection with God. It truly described a very devoted

religious woman. Of course, I said "awwww" after reading all the holy words she had written in that

section. Then, I moved to her Picks, and I was in shock. Her first Pick was a warning to all women to

keep their eyes off her man...

"You F*uck off bit*hes!, this is MY man. STAY AWAY, and don't even look at him or I'll be fu*cking

pulling your eyes out. so F*CK OFF!"

Yes, this is more or less what she said, just not as bad as it was in her profile. Then on her next Pick, she

shared how, with God's light, she had rescued a little bird and was so thankful for that blessing.

Then again, on her third Pick she was back to the %&#$*@#% for all women, warning us to stay away

from her men. I guess she felt the need to keep reminding us, just in case we would forget that the man

belonged to her. LOL! :P And for the rest of her profile Picks she kept bouncing back and forth from the

holy hallelujahs to the F*uck off bit*hes! It was just so funny, I tell you. :P

But moving on...

In her picks, Lana shares many great locations to visit, among other things. In one of those picks

she describes how one week in Second Life is for most of us, and I leave you with that.

Hello Beautiful World!, and welcome once again to my little blog.

You have no idea how thankful I am to you for taking time from your wonderful and busy

days to come and pay me a visit. It is "time" that I appreciate the most in life, over anything else,

because "time" is priceless, and it is one of the best gifts one human can give to another,

especially to our loved ones.

In a world that is suffering from so much racism, prejudice, judgment, and violence, standing by/with

someone in need is the kindest thing we can do. No need for words, just hold the hand and listen, even

when words are not spoken, because sometimes hearts are better understood in silence.

To be in the company of another human when we are feeling lonely really helps. It doesn't matter

if it is a total stranger. Every human carries a light inside that adds to the world. Being in the presence

of another person can help alleviate the darkness of sadness and loneliness when both light, theirs and

ours, are combined. During my loneliness periods, I seek the company of others in places where I know

a crowd of people will be there, but really, it doesn't matter what place we go to if we know we will run

into other people. Where two or more gather, trust me, there is no place for complete loneliness.

And with that said, and as I was writing, an idea was born in my head for a new section in the blog.

I am not sure if it will work or not, but I'll give it a try. I'll be calling it Stand By Me, and that is

all I'll say for now. I am so excited! ♥

This is all for now my beautiful people.

But before I leave, I ask you to please keep my Pollito (my RL pet cat) in your prayers.

He's been sick for a few days now, and his veterinarian appointment is not until Thursday.

I won't say much about his condition for now because I'll start crying. :(

What a beautiful Saturday I am having in my corner of the world, I tell you.

Woke up to a small cold front, which was so much needed. Come on, it is January, and nature

has been killing the thrill of those cozy winter days. My air conditioner has been running for months

now, and it really needs a break. Yes, cold winter days down in Texas are a thrill that we Texans look

forward to every winter season after having to deal with hot oven temperatures almost all year round.

Now, it is actually pretty windy to the point that I saw a car pass by, and then I noticed there was

no one inside driving it... oooooh. Ha, just kidding. The truth is, the wind is so strong that I notice a

bunch of my neighbors' yard stuff all over mine. I'll have to go out and see what I'll be keeping

and return the rest.

So I just checked my "brrrrrrr, it's so cold and windy" weather, and this is what I found;

Hope you all are having a beautiful Saturday, my favorite day of the week, and with November

being my favorite month. Now, the most perfect day for me would be a rainy Saturday, cold November day

in the arms of my Steppenwolf, watching a good movie on Netflix while drinking a delicious cup of hot

chocolate milk. But for that to happen, I'll have to wait for almost a year for November to return.

OMG, I can't wait, I am so excited!

And while speaking about favorite things, did I mention that Steppenwolf is my favorite person

in the whole wide world? Yes, that includes China, Paris, Spain, Mexico, the mountains and forests,

and every inch on the planet, etc. My Steppenwolf is the one and only, because "Baby, it's you, and it

has always been you and only you."

Memories Made

Ummm... does my face look like a chubby roach?

Once again, I am starting to see Lori looking like a bug. I don't know why. [Gregorina Crescendo]

I have always had this problem with Lori's face, no matter what I do or how much I change it,

after a while, the bug resemblance comes afloat, and once again I feel like a roach or a bee, etc.

Anyway, let's move on...

Earlier today, I was remembering something my mother once said to me.

She said it was sad to see how people on the internet spent more time with the people they met there

instead of spending more time with their loved ones in real life. At the time, I really didn't

understand or truly give much importance to her words. You see, my mother was full of life, and there

wasn't an ounce of stillness in her soul. She always wanted to be out, enjoying life and making

everyday unforgetable. Every day, she would come up with some exciting things that we could do

together. For example, once she dragged me to a dance competition to see who could dance the longest.

Even though neither one of us won, she surely beat me by far. Another idea she came up with was to go

to a dollar store and buy as many flowers as we could and then visit the cemetery and leave a flower and

a prayer on every grave that seemed to be forgotten. That was my mother, full of life, with beautiful and

fun ideas. Now that she is gone, I miss our adventures together. My mother wasn't just the best mother,

but she was truly my best friend. I adored her and admired her and only wish I could live my life by her

example.

In the last years of her life, I found myself spending more time than I should have in Second Life

instead of giving my mother more time. I regret it so much, and the saddest part is that I can't go

back and fix the mistake. That time is lost forever.

I just hope that no one makes the same mistake I made. The people in our real lives are a priority.

They must come first, always! They deserve our time in full, with no rushes or limitations.

They are too valuable to be given scraps of our time and attention.

Hello Beautiful World, and a very Happy New Year!

May the new year bring peace to the world, and may humanity be showered with much love, 

happiness, and good health.

Any New Year's resolutions? None for me, thank you!

What's the point, really? I always fail to follow them after a few weeks into the year, 

and then I feel like a total loser. Instead, I'll just make momentous ones when I feel like it for a day.

They don't have to be big ones necessarily. As long as it is something that helps make my day happier,

more peaceful, or healthier, then I am down for that. No stress, just chill sailing into the new year.

So my sweet husband Steppenwolf thinks I am a bit crazy. Silly man, of course I am crazy...

crazy in love with him! But then again, I would rather be crazy than boring. Keep my mam

on his feet, always wondering what I'll do next, and then, BAM!, hit him with a crazy move

and scare the hell out of him while I laugh hysterically. But he loves it even though I almost

give him heart attacks every time.
