Hello Beautiful World & A Happy Day To All!

Before we begin, let me start by saying that I find myself missing my Steppenwols so much that I could

cry. Actually, I do cry every time I feel his absence, which is all the time... (begins to cry again!)

Over the last few months, he's been traveling a lot for work. As a global manager for the company he

works for, he is constantly traveling to every part of the world. Two months ago, he had to travel to Tokyo and returned for a few days, and now he is in London. Thankfully, I'll be having my husband very soon, in a few days, to hold very tight once again. 💛

So today I was inspired to write for my blog since it is Autumn, my favorite season/time of the year

and I loved the picture I took today using one of my backdrop texture sets.

But really, if only Autumn could last forever, I would be the happiest girl in the world.

But now, I understand all three other seasons are just as beautiful and necessary as this one.

They all have their own unique beauty and unique gifts to offer

to the land and everything and everyone around.

And as we learn to appreciate the beauty of each season, I believe it is very important to learn from them.

How they affect the earth, our emotions, and life. Both sides: the good and the bad.

Because one can only truly and fully learn from seeing both sides of the coin.

Life is composed not only of good moments or bad ones. Life is composed of everything from

highs to lows, and one must not seek shelter in giving a blind eye to the storms of the seasons.

One must confront them and learn from them, and this, in return, will allow us to appreciate them.

And as we learn, because there is always so much to learn from everything in life,

Contrary to today's song's lyrics, I DO want to fall and keep falling in love with my Steppenwolf

who stole my heart on the night we met when, without my permission, he took me in his arms

and waltzed me into a dance that has lasted almost 15 years now.

Some people only know one way to love, and that is with the intensity of a hundred years.

Absence in time doesn't erase the feelings of that love, even if it ended in much pain.

The memories of what once was will always remain in the back of the heart, like faded photos

and words almost forgotten. But the joy, the love, and the pain once felt will always remain tattooed

to our lives. We can cover them and hide them, but they can't be erased.

Both my mother and my grandmother loved this way. They gave their heart once, and continued

to love from that moment on til their last breath, through time and a lifetime of absence.

Wishing you a beautiful Saturday.

Today's post is dedicated to one of the many wonderful people I have ever met in Second Life and had 

the great honor of calling a friend. But he wasn't just a friend or even a good friend, Etrad Alex was a best friend.

One of the few people who left some of the most beautiful footprints in my heart.

I met Etrad on a Friday, on a November day back in 2012, while I was at Tai Chi, in Tempura Island.

Here, you can read about the day we met.

Etrad entered my heart almost immediately with his beautiful ways, and we became best of friends. 

He was actually the one friend that I felt the closest to at that time.

Etrad used to log in during his lunch hour from (RL) work, and I would join him every day and

keep him company while he ate his meal. We would talk about family and other RL topics. I always looked

forward to that lunch hour with my friend. Etrad became protective of me and would stand up

to anyone who would hurt me with words or actions. He was a very good listener and adviser,

and he was always there for me. Sadly, our beautiful friendship ended, and really, I can't remember

the reason why it did. But the wonderful memories I have of him continue to live in my heart, 

bringing always smiles when I remember our times together. Etrad's place in my life can't be replaced,

and I only wish that he, too, remembers me fondly as I remember him.

So today's post is for him, to honor that great man.

May God bless him and keep him and his loved ones safe.

May he be surrounded by much love and happiness.

I heard it from Madison, one of the brides, last night while watching the show Love At First Sight, Chicago Edition

(Episode 4). I do love this type of reality shows, even though we all know they are somehow scripted.

But hey, they still keep me entertained, and that is all that matters, right?

Time to go now, it is a beautiful Saturday to enjoy by going to the beach or spending it with family and friends.

Old Friend

Hello Beautiful World!

And a very happy day/evening to everyone.

I have played the song above so many times on the blog, and though it is the same song,

I always play it with a different meaning. This time, the old friend in the lyrics represents

the first year of my Second Life. That was the time when life in Second Life was so

much easier. Some of those days still live very vividly in my mind.

Running through fields of gold, dancing in the water under the rain, and climbing trees.

I felt so free.

That first year, I walked Second Life solo for most of the time. That was the plan: to join Second Life,

but not as a social perspective, but more as a solo platform to write and take pretty pictures for a blog,

and stay away from people. Yes, I was shy. Shy and afraid of this virtual world.

But Second Life had other plans for me.

I began to meet people, some weird and scary, but for most of the time, I met nice people, wonderful people,

and very special people that I began to call friends, sisters, and brothers.

And my little blog, which was intended to be something small, just for my eyes only, still, made public,

began to create waves. Some of those waves really scared me. I didn't like the attention I was getting.

It scared me and made me very nervous. And til this day, it still does.

I wanted to do my own thing, but go unknown, unseen, unheard.

And so my Second Life's journey didn't go as planned. It grew wings on its own and took me in a

different direction. A direction unknown to me.

There are many things I am thankful for in my Second Life. But there are also many things I am

regretful of. Still, with every step, I learned and grew for the better, I hope.

Not just for myself but for those around me.

Now, I find myself longing for that first year and the feeling of being unknown.

And feel free, me, myself, and I, with my Steppenwolf. He is the only one I would take back with me.

That first chapter in my Second Life has been bookmarked forever.

Hello Beautiful World!

Today I woke up burning with passion for my man. So I decided to take these pictures and send them

to him and see how long it takes him to text me back. Let me tease him a bit while he is in his

important meetings. I bet it won't be long. He will excuse himself for a few minutes and ask

someone else to take over while he gives me a little time. ;) Purrrrrrrrr...

Now, later tonight, I can almost hear him say, "Baby, what do you do this to me?"

"But baby, what do you mean? What did I do?" ;)

My ladies, it is so much fun to tease our men. Make them suffer a little, but just a little.

Just make sure to deliver at the end. ;) Tease should be a fun game, not a punishment.

This keeps our men on their feet, without a minute to waste on boredom. Pure excitement and fun.
