had touched what appeared to be just a dead small tree."

Today when I got back from work I noticed that early spring had gently touched my 3-foot tall tree 

that has refused to grow at all in the last past year and had insisted on keeping its branches bare.

However today, a beautiful "soft" green dress has been laid upon it as an early gift from spring 

that won't be getting here 'til about another month, but it sure is starting to announce its arrival 

through the land.
