This post is dedicated to Beetles, my froggy <3
Love Me Do, Blackbird, I Want To Hold Your Hand,
those are just some of my favorite Beatles songs. To be honest with you,
there is not a single song I don't like from this great band.
Sometimes I wonder though if John Lennon and George Harrison were still alive,
would there have been a Beatles reunion? What do you think froggy?
The other night, feeling a little lonely and bored,
The other night, feeling a little lonely and bored,
I decided to go out and then I remembered how much my daughter
likes this band. I decided to see if I could find a place in Second Life dedicated to them
and right away the "Glass Onion: the Beatles Experience, Prince Island" came up
on my search list. As soon as I arrived at this location, I checked to see if Beetles was online,
I know what a big Beatles fanatic he is, so I wanted us to experience this place together.
However, my little heart got a bit broken when I did see him online
but when I invited him to join me, he was already a little busy.
Hmmm, first time he ever says no to me :P
After he said how bad he felt for not being able to join me
After he said how bad he felt for not being able to join me
and me assuring him not to worry about it, I proceeded to explore the place.
The Beatles Experience is sort of a Beatles museum filled with a large number
of amazing pictures and another wonderful memorabilia honoring the band.
There are several floors to explore all while listening to their amazing music.
You will find that most of the photos displayed are in bright and very vivid colors.
You can climb all the way to the rooftop where you will find even more pictures
You can climb all the way to the rooftop where you will find even more pictures
and dancing pose balls. A Teleporter has also been placed there for your convenience,
this Teleporter will take you to the Beetles Ride, Gallery, Red Parrot or the Groovy Ride.
On one side of the building, you will also find a recreation of the very famous Abbey Road :)
"We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine,"
This song reminds me so much of my school childhood days.
Every Thursday morning I had music class at school, and at the beginning of class,
our teacher would ask us what songs we wanted to sing from the songbook
while he played at his old piano. Every Thursday I was always ready to be the first one
to raise my hand and made sure I would get picked out from the class to select a song.
There were only a number of songs we were able to sing in his 45-minute class
and I wanted to make sure to secure a good spot for my song so it wouldn't get left out.
Thanks to me, every Thursday, Yellow Submarine could be heard through
the school halls coming from Mr. Balderas class :)
