Dear Second Life,

It seems like it was just yesterday when my daughter would run around the house showering herself in

baby powder from head to toes and taking out from the kitchen cabinets all the pots and pans that she

could find to use them either as hats or drums. I still remember very well her beautiful curly-black hair

and her sweet face and that precious smile that would melt my heart.

Now my baby girl has grown up to be an exceptional young gorgeous lady with a heart so beautiful 

and wisdom beyond her age. I have to say that I value her opinion so much that many times I ask her for

help. Yes, I am proud to admit it.

My daughter soon will be leaving away to college.  She will be graduating high school this year with a

wonderful GPA that is getting her admissions to very good universities in the country and even better,

some with very good scholarships. Her plans, for now, are to attend a Texas university and then study

abroad in the future. She originally had plans to study medicine and become a pediatrician. Now her

plans seem to have changed but whatever she decides to study, I am sure she would do great.

It is hard to know that every day that passes brings us closer to the day my little girl will open her wings

and will fly away from the nest.  But though it is sad to see her go, I am very happy and excited to see

how wonderfully her future is looking for her. I will have to let go of her hand in just a few months, but

I'll never let go of her precious heart.
