BECAUSE OF YOU

... and then, there was you.
There was love and splendid days.
There was the passion and the dreams 
... because of you.

My world was complete
and I felt I could fly
and happiness had no limits
... because of you.

You became my strength and my inspiration.
You were the beating in my heart
and there were no more dark days
... because of you.

Now,
I live a slow and painful death
and the tears never seem to stop.
My smile has gone away
I am no longer who I was
... because of you.


This is a little something I just wrote. 
Simple words yet meaningful.
Many loves have sad endings. Not everyone gets to live the fairytale and live happily ever after.
Our prince will turn out to be a frog and our castle just an illusion.
Yet, I stand by what I always say...
Love is the greatest and it will always be!
