Dear Second Life,
There was once a place, a very special place in Second Life,
where I used to run to and hide every time the pain was just too much to bear.
It was perfect... it was my special place.
There were mountains carpeted with the most beautiful green grass.
And the sheep seemed to sing with their baahs to the sound of the rain.
And the ocean, and the waves and that beautiful sunset.
It was my special place, where my good friends always knew they would find me there
when I was at my lowest.
There, I would sit at the edge of the land, right where the land meets the ocean water
and I would cry until I could not anymore.
It was as if the waves would wash away my pain with every tear that would fall.
That was my special place...
It is now gone.
No more mountains covered in green grass.
No more sheep singing to the sound of the rain.
No more ocean, or waves, or soothing sunsets.
Now I have no place to run to when the pain is too much to bear.
So I sit and
wait
for it to go away but it doesn't...
It never does.
