She looked at him silently as he made his way to the door.
She knew that now, he had a new place to go to, a place he preferred over everything or anyone,
including her. She knew that soon he would be kissing other lips and whispering those words she
so much loved to hear in their moments of passion, however, tonight it wouldn't be "her" with him
under silk sheets getting lost in the heaven of his lovemaking.
She wanted to scream "Please don't go!", but she knew love couldn't be forced.
He stopped briefly before closing the door behind him and turned to look at her as he murmured,
"I'm sorry, I just can't do this anymore.", She smiled at him, holding the tears back, and answered,
"Go and be happy, I'll be fine."
As he closed the door and started to walk away, her tears began to escape her eyes.
Unable to move, she remained by the door hoping he would come back to hold her and to kiss
her tears away. But he was gone to kiss other lips under silk sheets.
