EXPLORING Second Life: Christmas Wonderland

If you are wondering who this is, this is Romo, my alternative Avatar.
I will formally introduce her to you very soon.

If you visit Christmas at Winter Holiday Village Christmas Wonderland
you will find the North Pole. At first glance, you may think that "this" north pole
is just the normal snowy land as you stand at the North Pole's gate.
However, once you make your way in, you will find a beautiful *R&R* Luminaria
castle-like structure, completely covered in multi-colored little lights.

Of course, you will find in there North Pole's Santa Chair,
which Cheo and I just had to try.
Dingy Twinkle Toes and Merry Sparkly Toes are two cute elves
that sit side by side on Santa's chair. But do not bother saying hi to them,
they are deaf and mute and apparently seem to be there
just as part of the decoration.

Village Horse Carriage Tour

Taking a carriage tour pulled by a beautiful black horse is a
great way of enjoying the view. This carriage tour will take
you through the village, icy lakes, and snowy mountains.

Taking your ice skates is a great idea.
There is a very large ice skating area available, probably one of the largest ones
in Second Life. There are also free skates available and fancier ones
if you got the L$starting from L$99 to L$349.
However I have my heart set on the ultimate ice-skating shoes,
they are the Ice Skate AO Shoes available for L$700
that come with 32 animations (6 stands, 6 random walking, 6 random jumping,
turn left & right, run, crouch, walk and more)  available both for men and women.

Don't they sound terrifically amazing!!! Somebody please, I NEED THIS SKATES!

Along the rocky pathway, stand cute little cottages.
I recommend taking a walk down the snow-covered rocky pathway
along these beautiful cottages. Almost hidden under beautiful gigantic pine trees,
while a gentle rain of snow keeps constantly falling and Christmas music
being played, will definitely get you in the holiday spirit.

Inside one of the cottages

Penguin Park - The Polar Bear Park
For ice skating and carriage tour

The Barn-Stable

Not too far from the village, you will find a barn surrounded by pine trees.

This is where they keep Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and his friends.
and Santa's Christmas Sleigh.

Oh, yes, you will also find Karra's Funny Cow Albert
roaming around the deer, I think he got lost. Can someone tell Karra
where she can find her funny looking cow! :P

Mrs. Clause' Retreat

Far away from the village and all its visitors, deep in the pine tree forest,
lay Mrs. Clause's cave retreat. It is well hidden so you must have to look
for it very carefully.

The Balloon Ride Mountain
Climbing up this mountain is well worth it...

Holiday Gazebo Base
A beautiful red gazebo furnished with a cozy sitting area
and a fireplace right in the middle of it.

And this is where you can take an amazing balloon ride
over this beautiful Christmas wonderland.

For those in the shopping mood,
there is a Magic Of Christmas Shop for your convenience
where you will find everything from fashion to Christmas decor.

Santa and Sons
Fresh Cut Christmas Trees
Can also be purchased next to the shop

So when you visit this
Christmas at Winter Holiday Village Christmas Wonderland for the skating,
balloon ride or just to look at the off sim icebergs,
remember that there are many other great things you can enjoy.
A Santa Air Tour on a white feather, free snow throws,
skiing and enjoying sweets and hot cocoa offered through the village by Santa's elves,
one thing is for sure, you will have the time of your life.
Keep the spirit of the season well alive in your hearts <333
