EXPLORING SECOND LIFE
Thank you Ocean for my beautiful "Beauty In Blue" Outfit, love it.
This blog post is for you papi. ❤
Finally and well overdue, I bring to you what Ocean and I consider the most beautiful land
our bare feet have ever touched in Second Life.
This is
(Adult)
DESCRIPTION
Ride a camel down the Silk Road and enter the desert kingdom of Ireem. Explore seedy bars and
opulent palaces in this lush combat roleplaying sim full of sheiks, gladiators, and magical djinn.
Kingdom of Sand is a role play sim with knights, bedouins, preys/slaves, slavers, Magi, the undead,
dungeon keepers, and citizens. Joining in role-play is not the only way you can visit this beautiful sim.
There is a 3-day Explorer Tag available at the sims entrance that you can get for free. After the three
days expire, you can keep getting new ones. This explorer tag will allow you to travel around the
kingdom without any problems. This is what Ocean and I have been doing since day one.
One thing you will discover is how friendly and helpful many of the kingdom's residents really are.
They are always willing to help newcomers and explorers just like us. On my very first day,
moonspell Fhang very politely answered all my questions when I IMed her out of the blue. On the
second day, the only difference was that help was voluntarily offered to me and Ocean by Just Jimmy
who offered to help us with whatever we needed. Now Jimmy is part of our list of friends.
I was the one that accidentally, or let's call it by a stroke of luck, found out about this wonderful
kingdom and then later shared the news with Ocean. I was searching for a great location to explore
and as soon as I read the description for Kingdom of Sand, my interest grew. Once I set foot on the
golden sand, I felt like I was no longer in Second Life, but was in another world, a more beautiful one.
To be honest with you this place sent chills all over my body and I couldn't believe so much beauty was
possible to be created in such a way that it touched my heart. I decided not to venture too much so I
remained at the entrance to the kingdom. I did zoom out in every direction taking quick peeks at
everything but decided to wait for Ocean to enjoy the experience of exploring such a majestical place
together. The next day, I returned with Ocean and we explored every single corner of the kingdom. We
even entered the Sultan's chambers without realizing that we were trespassing in an area most likely
prohibited to everyone. We realized we were in a private part of the palace/city when we wanted to
continue and we kept being stopped by the Sultan's guards and not letting us get out. I honestly was
very scared and worried but Ocean found a way and got us both out safe.
Now that little incident didn't stop us from returning to the kingdom. We actually go most days and
spend a lot of quality time there together. ;) Sand has become a new home for us. Ocean has gotten us a home there too and has decorated it so beautifully that I would dare to say that is fit for a king and queen. That is our home away from home as we like to call it.
