EON The Dream Maker by Rikki Yalin

LET ME BE A DREAM

Let me be one of those dreams
that you free into the sky,
Allowing me to fly with the wind.
Higher than the birds can fly.

Lower than the earth beneath my bare feet
I want to become one with the night,
When everyone is asleep
and I can sneak into their thoughts.

I'll fly into the sky
Opening wide my fragile winds,
I'll let the wind guide my flight
and silently sneak into your sleep.

Sweet Dreams.

You have no idea how much I was moved by the image of EON sitting high on that rooftop.
I was so overwhelmed by the sight that it brought me to tears. Yes, I find that same beauty that I find in
real life, in many of the places that I discover and explore every day here, in this magical world
that was created for you and me, our Second Life.
I noticed EON from very far away as I was walking down the street. At first, I couldn't make out what
it was, but as I started getting closer and it started to take shape, my heart started beating faster with
anticipation of what could possibly await me, watching me getting closer as I hurried to him. I was in
total awe and all I could do was stand there, looking up in silence. I was amazed and felt the tears
rolling down when my good friend Aedo Destiny IMed me to say hello.

"Aedo, have you ever seen something sooo beautiful in SL
that moved you to the point of getting teary eyes?"

He remained silent for a few minutes before answering me, probably wondering why I had answered his
hello with a question. He then said that only in RL has he seen such beauty. I was a bit saddened by his
response.

Am I crazy for seeing such beauty in a world of fantasy?
A beauty so great that it touches the heart leaving me speechless?
A beauty that can provoke tears of joy for such a splendid sight?
Or is it a blessing?

Once again, I share with you this beautiful song...

"I was a little girl
Alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me.
I played pretend between the trees,
And fed my houseguests bark and leaves,
And laughed in my pretty bed of green."
