Dear Second Life,
What can be worse than entering an intimate text in the wrong window?
Well, entering those moans and heated words in a group chat!
Can it get any worse than that?
Of course it can, when you realized that every group member that happens to be online has decided to join in the chat that you have started by making public what you are doing and how you like it and even who is the person that is getting his back scratched by your long and sharp nails that more than nails they look like Freddy Krueger's claws.
You will hear some, "You go girl", others won't cheer but rather make fun of the situation, your situation ;).
But then there will be those that will insult you for being so.... passionate.
Oh come'n people, I slipped. Haven't you ever slipped from your lover's arms
and fallen flat on your face into a group chat?
30 minutes later and the chat still continues and guess what?
You have become famous. Everyone has checked out your profile by now and they know you well,
and I mean REALLY well since you have involuntarily shared with all of them your intimate moment.
Gather around people and no pushing!
Might as well, because after having a HUGE slip like that, if you stop to think about it, it is as if you have brought them all into your bedroom to see you in action. I can almost imagine dozens of people, around the bed, watching, some laughing, others cheering and the other ones pointing their fingers in disgust at you two while saying, "You are going to hell you sinners for sharing with us your indecencies!".
What to do in a situation like this?
Blame the chat on a fake twin that took your place in bed with your lover while you went AFK
to check on your cat? Or blame it on your cat saying it was she that walked all over your keyboard, typing all those nasty words and then intentionally sending them to the group.
Or you could also blame it on your lover saying that his lovemaking is so powerful that it makes you
go into a hypnotic state, and while you were under his spell, he ordered you to "slip".
Now my best advice to you is to delete the group immediately but not before
you have muted/blocked every single person in the group including the ones
that were not even online at the time. They will find out about you from the others, trust me ;)
Then, cancel your account, kill it, vanish it from the face of the planet or burn it and make sure there are not even ashes left behind. Then create a new account, wasting, I mean investing another small fortune to make your new avatar look as good as your last one and start fresh!

It has worked for me all eleven times ;)
Now my slips were nothing like the example above, they were worst :O

We all have chat slips of all kinds and they can be very embarrassing or problematic.
I have heard from friends where they had lost friendships because of a slip in chat,
"I tell you, that Sonia is so depressing that I tried to avoid her as much as I can." ... "Oh, hi Sonia sweetie, sorry, wrong window, ummm ... but tell me how are you? I've missed you so much."
Others have slips where they uncover serious secrets ....
"I can't wait to have you in my arms, I've been thinking of you all day long, good thing she is leaving soon." .... " Oh sorry baby, I love ONLY you sooo much, when are you leaving?..... Ugh!".
See what I mean? Our chat slips can be more serious than what we think. We must learn to train our brain to double and even triple check who or where is it that our chat will end up once we press ENTER.
