Dear Second Life, As an art lover, I was so excited when my good friend Gee told me about this new system she has created that allows us to rent art pieces from some of Second Life's best artists for only a L$1 a day. Gee is a very talented artist and creator who I have the pleasure of being good friends with since I started Second Life and I've got to say that she really is a busy bee. She is always coming up with so many wonderful ideas, for example, the @ Pair Rings (Sorry about the missing photo in the link), which was one of my favorite Gee's creations. You can visit her InWorld Active Art by Gee Studio, where you'll be able to see all her beautiful and interesting work. Going back to Gee's new art rental system, this great idea makes it easier for us to experience art in our own homes. By renting a piece of art of our choice and selecting the number of days we want to keep it, we get to enjoy it, appreciate it and show it off to our guests. After the rental period is over, the piece will remove itself, but we can always rent it again or if you decide, you can always buy it and keep it. This method puts high quality art in our homes for a low price giving Second Life artists recognition and probably gaining them fans/followers for their art by sharing their creations with us this way. The steps to follow once you rent a piece are very easy... Rent any piece for the number of days you want. When the Item is first rezzed, you will be asked for a #Rent Code to validate duration.. You will find this code on a folder you get when you rent the piece. Then you're set to go and enjoy the art piece at your own home. It is that easy and inexpensive!
