The lights were blinding, she was the center of it all.
Surrounded by untamed-hungry wolves devouring her every move
with their lusty eyes, but her body moved as if no one was around.
Her sensual curves outlined by the spotlight moving provocatively
to awaken the lowest of desires was her job.
But she hated every second of it. This wasn't the attention she wanted to get.
She wondered if in the pack of hungry wolves there would be one,
one that would see beyond her bare body and see the woman,
the woman that had dreams of a better life.
A woman that laughed and cried just like any other woman.
But she was aware that there, she was just an object
with no value to any of the men that surrounded her.
So she danced night after night
and hid the tears behind a smile
