Hello Beautiful World!
What a beautiful Saturday we are having!
Earlier this morning I couldn't find one of my kitties, Pollito and after an extended search, I finally found him
asleep in a shoebox in the closet, with the lid on, how did he do that? I really have no idea. I was able
to find him because his tail was the only thing sticking out of the box
Yes, I named him "Little Chicken" because he looks like an over-easy egg and at first I thought of naming
him Huevito which is "Little Egg", then I thought that Pollito was cuter.
You know, pollitos come out from huevitos, so there you have the connection. :P
We adopted Pollito when no one seemed to want him. He had been found on the side of a lonely road
outside the city limits on a cold winter night, it seemed someone had left him out there. Then, he
had been moved around from home to home because nobody seemed to be interested in keeping him
until we heard about him and we welcomed him into our home. This was two years ago. Now I can
honestly say that our Pollito is the joy of the house.
Pollito is so cute and loving and very spoiled I have to say. He gets more love from all of us than we get all combined.
All you have to do is look in his direction and he'll start to purr, but he'll purr so loud
that you can hear it from far away. He also twists and turns when you call out his name so
he keeps falling down from furniture which makes him run and hide in embarrassment.
When Pollito feels too hot from running around, he'll go sit either by the air conditioner or the fan
that is by a small television we have that he loves to watch, but if the fan happens not to be on, he'll
start taping on it with his little paw until someone goes and turns it on for him. Just picture now a kitty
that looks like an over-easy egg watching
